In this particular case, I first tried to purchase it from Amazon; the shipment was lost, and I had to spend two hours on chat with Amazon to get a refund. I never, ever have those issues with B&H. I have learned my lesson, and for any future items in this category, I will buy from B&H. Ultimately, a company is only as good as the people behind it. B&H has good people.

My Sirui HC-110F dry cabinet (65 lb) was sent across the ocean, to Europe, in a box without the manufacturer wooden reinforcement they usually came in (this wasn't my first order form B&H itself and other shops, the wooden cage was always present). The box was smashed, with DHL repair tape on it to keep it together, and the cabinet inside damaged beyond repair: the frame is bent and the door won't close properly anymore. Despite several attempts at solving the issue, B&H agents refused to take responsibility for the failed shipping, and only accepted to refund the cost of the item itself upon return. I bought a shipping service for almost $230 (not including import taxes and fees) that clearly failed due to non-standard packaging, and I won't be getting that money back.

B&H gets me my stuff Next Day via UPS, a real delivery company who actually rings my bell! When I order from that other place whose name starts with an A & ends with a Z, it's always delayed, the delivery is done by their own drivers who are always late, never show or leave my stuff without ringing the bell in the rain or so it gets stolen.

Great Website, easy ordering, fast shipping. I buy all my computer and camera stuff here.

B&H is the best! I have bought since the 70's and I never regretted it, and when I needed help they were there over the years— shared with the tools for my work, and now my daughter is a photographer in NYC... Good prices and straight business. But, if I must say, please do not ask me to be honest, real people always talk from the heart.
