I was very disappointed in the service I received. I did inform the company that I was due to travel and that I would be away for 3/4 weeks. I then requested a private call to go through all expectations and anything that I would be required to do as time was an issue. After receiving the call I had done everything that was expected. As soon as I was on holiday I then received an email to inform me that I was required to send hard copies of my documents to the company that wasn’t discussed or informed. I was then away and couldn’t do this making the process prolonged and being frustrated.

Professional and friendly from start to finish

We moved house this year and are SO glad we used Bird & Co for our solicitors. Our transaction was anything but simple and Hannah was outstanding. Her professionalism and knowledge was second to none. She ensured that we were well informed throughout and was readily available when a problem occurred.

I chose Bird & Co because they appeared to be a suitable option for handling a modern auction property purchase.
My experience may be somewhat uncommon.

The initial sign‑up process was smooth, but once a conveyancer was assigned, communication became difficult. I felt left on my own and had to chase for updates multiple times, only being told it will be passed on.
It wasn’t until I was nearing a deadline set by the auction house that I finally reached someone who took ownership of the case.

From that point forward, things improved significantly. However, I still needed to follow up regularly for updates on matters between the conveyancer and the auction house.

Overall, I’m giving four stars because my later contact, Jacqueline, was professional, responsive, and reassuring. The original conveyancer fell ill, and I should have been reassigned to another team member much sooner. That delay created unnecessary pressure and contributed to the missed deadline, which was disappointing.

I had the good fortune of dealing with Damian Sabino, who was excellent throughout. Damian was approachable & very helpful, he is explained things in a way that even I could understand and nothing was too much trouble for him.

I would highly recommend Bird & Co, a thoroughly professional firm.

Chloe and her team are everything that you can ask for from a conveyancing solicitor. They were responsive, attentive, meticulous and extremely helpful throughout our work together. I came to Bird and Co with a very rudimentary understanding of the conveyancing process as a first-time buyer and was taken good care of as every step of the process was thoroughly explained to me. They take care to communicate each and every discrepancy between the listing details and the results of their searches clearly so that you are well-informed ahead of the decision you're making. They do not cut corners even when you're clearly eager to get over the line ASAP, yet it doesn't even matter as an impatient person because they work so quickly and efficiently. They were also very accommodating of my crypto trading and investment history and were able to perform a comprehensive source of funds check without any issues. I can't wait to work with them again and will be recommending them to everybody I know
