Vintage watches are popular right now. And when things are popular, up goes the hype - and the prices. At BYW, however, a steady course is maintained. The blurb and short video that accompanies each watch listing never veers into overdrive. Like the website itself, the sales patter is not slick and seductive; it is honest and straightforward. 'We rate this because...', or: 'We went out and bought this on a whim because...'. What you never hear is, 'We like this so you have to, too.' If you enjoy watches but are wary of horological hustlers, perhaps BYW is the place for you.
