Dan the man
Dan was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. He gave real insight into the various walking boots, and was supportive in the selection process. A great example of customer service backed with real experience. We were even happy to pay slightly more for the product, despite it being cheaper online, because of the service Dan provided.

Today we were served by Imogen in…
Today we were served by Imogen in Basingstoke and she was outstanding. It was the end of a hot and humid shopping day and she was so patient with my son in helping him choose shoes. He is slightly on the spectrum and show shopping is always stressful but she was calm, patient and suggested options we hadn’t even contemplated. She was also attentive to my daughter even though she wasn’t buying anything. We were with her for nearly 40mins and when I found out she had just completed yr 12 I was stunned. Incredibly mature and professional, an asset to your store

Underrated hidden gem
Good shop, good reasonable prices for hiking gear (which is a pricey market), and great service. Not local but will be back when back in town :)

Excellent Customer Service
I came in to the store to buy a Rucksack that was in stock online but wasn't in-store - Saadia was the shop assistant that helped me, she offered to get it delivered to my house at no extra charge. She was very knowledgeable and efficient and a credit to the Basingstoke store.

Lovely staff, great quality gear
Went in looking for a pair of hiking boots and didn’t really know what I was looking for because I’m new to this kind of stuff. One of the workers, John, was so lovely and really helped me choose the perfect pair. All the other staff were so nice as well and everything I bought is great quality.

Recently purchased some low cost…
Recently purchased some low cost sleeping bags. Unfortunately the stuffing separated after one use and a wash per instructions. Returned to my local store and dealt with Jack. I was blown away by the attention to detail and product knowledge of Jack. Going through the options we decided to upgrade to a better quality 2 season sleeping bags, and take a refund for the previous ones.
The whole process was straight-forward and seamless!
