I placed an order with Blindsbyabbey following recomendation, to the value of £162.38. Whilst I was happy with the price, I brought to their attention that I had searched the internet for a voucher code as their web order form had a box for a "promo" code. I found a voucher code on line and used it on the order, however, it did not work. I left the order as it was, but brought this issue to the attention of Blindsbyabbey. They responded saying that there were companies out there issuing propmo codes to show that their sites led customers to the company web site.
I offered Blindsbyabbey the advice that if there was not a current promotion on, that they should remove the promo box from the order form, which would eliminate it being misleading.
I received a reply that they had taken my advice and removed the promo code box from the form. Then, to my amazement, without asking me, they informed me that they had cancelled my order and given me a refund!! Even though I had not said in any of my correspondence to them that I was not happy with the price I had paid! Obviously they are a company who cannot take constructive criticism, and don't value online custom 100%? So much for their presumptuous, customer service? Thankfully, I have been able to purchase the blinds i need from a different supplier, and slightly cheaper!
The other aspect of this is though that you should not believe all the promotion offers out there. I was misled by thinking I had found a promotion by the company I was dealing with, only to find it was a scam!
