Gorgeous ring

The ring is absolutely gorgeous and the quality is magnificent. We also weren’t expecting the packaging. It came in a very sturdy and attractive display box. E will be purchasing from blue Nike in the future for sure. You’ve find a repeat customer.

Poor quality

I ordered design your own 4 prong diamond earrings for a store pickup. The order arrived in store late and when went to finally pickup, the backs were not secure. This should have never passed a quality check.
I was told it is best to put in a repair order and now over 3 weeks later I still have no eta in when I will finally receive my order. The quality did not meet my expectations at all.
Called customer service, spoke to a customer rep with a luck lister attitude and was disconnected with zero call back.

Great selection bad service

I liked the selection and all the choices and discounts on the jewelry the downside was the sales lady was very rude I came in wearing casual clothes jeans and a t-shirt and she assumed what my budget was without any prior discussion about budget and was automatically pointing me to buy cheaper options than what I originally wanted

I submitted a repair December 7 and…

I submitted a repair December 7 and it’s not supposed to be done until April 9….that’s four months. That is an excessive wait time for a jewelry repair.

Recently ordered my wedding rings from Blue Nile and have had a very pleasant experience. I realised I forgot to add a $50 discount code when checking out, and instead of making a fuss, they just sent the money directly to my bank. Great company with great customer service they really do care.

After spending thousands of dollars on…

After spending thousands of dollars on a ring, we recently had to send back for a resizing and they did not send the ring back with the bigger box. Now, customer service is saying they will charge me for a new one. We followed instructions and would’ve never sent it if we knew that they would not send it back! This is not the kind of customer service I expect after spending thousands of dollars on a ring. I will no longer recommend to anyone!

Great Service and Support, went the extra mile for us

We visited Blue Nile to purchase wedding rings after buying our engagement ring there a year ago. Being return customers, we received a discount. I ordered my other half an eternity ring, and usual, I ordered the wrong size...twice. They have been very good in the exchange process and keep me up to date when I ask for the status.

They are “partnered” with one of the…

They are “partnered” with one of the shadiest loan companies you will ever have to deal with, which is basically in itself a fraud company, making Blue Nile an accomplice to that.

They have the same “problem” that caused student loan defaults like crazy, ACH payments “accidentally failing” and an excessively corrupt and useless beaurocratic structure that both racks up late fees and hurts your credit and makes it difficult to pay even if you have the money and want to do so.

And of course they fight you like hell and lawyers don’t usually want to touch it either because it has even gone to Congress as an issue and they won’t even touch it.

Avoid buying from this company, it is like the plague.

Dear Blue Nile Customer Service Team,

30/1/2026 buyer updates: Order Number: 1006859726
· Item Purchased: Earrings
· Issue: Received an empty box; item was missing
· Date of Incident: order date 10/2/2026; shipment received date 16/1/2026 (empty packing box)

It has now been two full weeks since I reported this incident on 16 January, without any concrete update or resolution.

This is a clear case of non-delivery of purchased goods. As the seller, your responsibility was to ensure the complete and correct delivery of the item to me, which was not fulfilled.

Please process this refund within the next 5 business days and send me a confirmation email once it is completed. If I do not receive confirmation of the refund by 7 February 2024, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter by filing a formal dispute with my credit card issuer, providing them with all records of our communication and the evidence of the empty package.

I expect your prompt action to rectify this situation.

I am writing to follow up on an issue with my recent order. Two weeks ago, I purchased a pair of earrings through Blue Nile online shop. When the package arrived at my address, I discovered that the box was empty—the earrings were missing.

I immediately reached out via CS WhatsApp’s to report the issue, but I have not yet received a response or any update regarding a replacement shipment. Given that two weeks have passed, I am becoming increasingly concerned and would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

For your reference, here are the order details:

· Order Number: 1006859726
· Item Purchased: Earrings
· Issue: Received an empty box; item was missing
· Date of Incident: Approximately two weeks ago

I kindly request that you look into this and arrange for a replacement shipment as soon as possible. If needed, I am happy to provide photos of the empty box or any additional information to support my claim.

Terrible experience with delivery of anniversary ring

Experience with delivery of anniversary ring was terrible, as evidenced by the following series of events:

16/11/25 ~ I place a purchase order online for an anniversary ring as a present to my wife for 10-year anniversary

22/12/25 ~ The ring arrives to my country's customs and local UPS team informs me that customs clearance is required and that the standard invoice is missing from the package received

22/12/25 ~ I raise the issue to Blue Nile and for guidance and immediate action

23/12/25 ~ I inform Blue Nile about the contact details of the local UPS team and ask Blue Nile to get to direct contact with the local Team to resolve any issue with the commercial invoice

30/12/25 ~ 7 days after my request.......Blue Nile sent the right commercial invoice to the UK UPS teams but this never reached the local UPS team on time for customs clearance.

05/01/2026 ~ Blue Nile customer care re-assures me that the communication with UPS is still active and ongoing, and that they are still trying to resolve the issue with the missing correct commercial invoice.

06/01/26 ~ Blue Nile sends the commercial invoice directly to me - after multiple enquiries from my side - via email and I forward this right away to local UPS team for clearance asap.

However, on the same day 06/01/26, local UPS informs me that on 02/01/26 the return of the ring back to the US was initiated by Blue Nile, without me being aware, without any notification and without clarifying who ordered the return of the ring back to the US.

07/01/26 ~ I inform Blue Nile about the return of the ring back to the US without any order cancellation and Blue Nile evidently seems not to have a clue (see communication on 05/01/2026, when Blue Nile reassured me that the issue was under resolution with UK UPS team, while, the ring was already on its way back to the US).

12/01/26 ~ The ring is finally returned to Blue Nile in the US and hence, I have to bear the same process of shipping the ring back to my country, adding another 2 weeks of delay until I receive the ring and put it on my wife's hand.

Worth paying attention to:
~ I have a 20-page long correspondence slip with Blue Nile - customer care through which I tried to facilitate the info exchange and hence, speed-up the timely receipt of the ring, but to no avail.
~ In my follow-up emails to Blue Nile asking for clarity on what happened, I never got a clear, thorough, and outright answer regarding the reason and accountability of the customer service failure.
