House was fully stocked

House was fully stocked. Kitchen had all the appliances you need. Living room fire place didn't work. Maintenance did come by, but still didn't work. Majority of the bedroom doors and bathrooms didn't lock which made it bit challenging specially by the living room. Overall, house was perfect for our family size and kids enjoyed the game room. I would say house being rental home.

Great Cabin experience

We had a very good family stay and made lifelong memories! The cabin is beautiful with a spectacular view. The cabin is very close to Beech Mountain Ski Resort which makes it convenient for skiing. The property description was accurate and the cabin was clean. The communication was good with no surprises. The branded essentials had a nice touch. Great Stay! Make sure that your vehicle is equipped for snow travel in this area.

Perfection even for the pickiest

The owners have done an unbelievable job at making sure no stone was unturned for the guests. Such an enjoyable experience.
The hot tub was nice and hot, large.... and clean.
The game room was a nice, thoughtful addition.
We cooked both meals in the home and the kitchen was fully equipped.

Magical Experience

Our stay at Eagle’s Nest was absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, we were wrapped in what can only be described as quiet luxury, we were overwhelmed with how incredibly peaceful and serene it was. The home itself is absolutely gorgeous, beautifully designed, and stocked with everything we could possibly need for a perfect getaway.

The community was wonderful, we even enjoyed a mountainside concert with the Blue Ridge mountains as a backdrop…simply breathtaking. Mornings with coffee by the fire were cozy and calming. Every detail truly made us feel completely at home while still feeling like we were on a special escape from reality.

This is the kind of place you don’t just visit…you experience. We already can’t wait to come back and make more memories here. Highly recommend for anyone craving peace, beauty, and elevated mountain living.

We had a 3-day stay at Beech Mountain

We had a 3-day stay at Beech Mountain. The place was very spacious and comfortable, which was perfect for our group. Everything was as described and we really enjoyed the location. The only issue we experienced was the security alarm going off for about two hours before we were able to get in touch with someone, which was a bit frustrating, considering the police showed up and ran all our information. Can’t say I’ve ever had that happen before.

Repeat customer, and we will be back again!

From the booking through the company to check out, communication was great, and I was informed of everything I needed to know. The house was squeaky clean with all the supplies we needed. We felt right at home. It was hard to leave!

Our cabin was very clean and inviting

Our cabin was very clean and inviting, exactly as it was described on website. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was equipped with all that we needed. The communication from Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was 5 star! I appreciate the proactive check in texts and the quick responses to questions. Would definately stay here again.

We absolutely loved this home

We absolutely loved this home! It was beautiful, very spacious for our large family, and had a fantastic location. The house was filled with great amenities that kept everyone entertained, and it was spotlessly clean and fresh. I’d definitely recommend it to others!

Nice stay at Raccoon Paw

The rental was clean and from booking to customer service everything went well! Our fireplace didn't work but they tried to fix it and it was a holiday week so it wasn't an easy fix done. We appreciated the effort to try and fix it. The area was nice. The neighborhood was gorgeous. It was a nice place to relax and beautiful view of Grandfather

Fun weekend with friends

Overall, we had a wonderful stay! The cabin was well-equipped and very comfortable. However, the microwave was not working when we arrived. We tried everything with the breaker to get it to work, but nothing doing. We suspect it needs to be replaced. Also, the side steps leading to the second parking area were not cleaned from leaves and debris, which made getting up and down difficult with bags and such. We needed to use that parking area because of the number of vehicles we had with 3 couples. Everything else was great though, and we would definitely stay here again...just a little more attention to detail when cleaning/prepping the house for guests is needed. A lovely weekend overall!

Mouse House

Extremely Disappointed – Serious Health & Safety Issues Ignored

Our stay with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was extremely disappointing due to major health and safety concerns that were never properly addressed.

Shortly after arriving, we discovered a mouse infestation inside the home, including mice actively eating and contaminating our food. We immediately called and emailed the company with a video of the mice, but after 24 hours with no response, we had to call again. We were told a technician would be sent, but no one ever showed up.

On the second day of our 5-night stay, an employee came to repair a water leak. When we showed him the top bunk beds, he stated they were not safe for anyone to sleep in because they had no railing, reducing the sleeping capacity of the house.

Despite the seriousness of these issues and the impact on our trip, Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals offered only about 10% off a nearly $6,000 stay—far from adequate given the conditions and lack of proper response.

I cannot recommend renting with this company based on our experience.

Gonna have to give this a 4. Fireplace in main living space was not working. We called and reported. They came out but never told us we needed to leave a key, we assumed they had keys to get in. We were not there and the rep asked me permission to get in while we were away which was granted. We also reported a leak in upstairs bathroom sink. We called and reported the next day and never got another response from property mgmt which was disappointing. It was never communicated to us that we needed to leave our key. House was great, plenty of yard for kids, lots of animal poop, which is expected. Lots of wildlife. Nice fire pit. Beautiful river in front of the house. Very family friendly.

Not what we paid for…

Update…Blue Ridge responded to our complaint in a timely and effective manner. They sufficiently addressed our concerns and worked with us to find a suitable resolution. We will rent from them again.

We were notified that it was discovered that the hot tub was empty around noon on check in day and that it would not be available for our stay. The hot tub amenity was one of the main reasons we rented this house.
Then, we noticed that the basement recreation area was not getting warm. The thermostat was set to 72 but the room temp measured 55. We called and a customer service rep came out but he was not a technician so he couldn’t do anything to repair the system. On a cold Thanksgiving week, with 4 generations of family members together, we had counted on being able to use the entire house not just part of it.
Amazing views! Great space for a family!
