I had a fantastic experience, but before I get to that I’d like to address some of the negative comments I’ve seen here because I think they’re unfair and they sound like entitled westerners with a champagne taste on a beer budget.
I saw a few comments about language barrier being an issue. What do you expect? It’s Thailand. People from all over the world visit this country, you can’t expect them to be fluent in all of them. The doctor and the staff spoke conversational English just fine. Not an issue at all.
Someone said that they felt rushed or the doctor was busy. Yes, typically doctors are very busy people. But my consultation didn’t end until I was done asking questions. They’re not there to hold you hand and convince you to do something. They expect you’re already committed to this and will take it from there.
Doctor gave me his expert opinion, I was originally interested in a deep plane lift. This is a procedure that he does regularly but he recommended a SMAS because he felt the DP may look too pulled or unnatural. I’m glad I followed his advice because it looks great. Because I know he does both procedures I know that he wasn’t just trying to keep me as a client for the sale, he was really interested in getting me the best outcome.
I also did not experience any high pressure add ons like someone else mentioned. I would say however the most facelift procedures rarely are just the facelift and are usually accompanied by a complimentary procedure. I elected for lower blepharoplasty which probably eliminates the need for me to get under eye filler ever again. Doctor also offered Morpheus at a steep discount which I gladly accepted.
Someone mentioned the facilities weren’t clean. Not true at all. The clinic is spotless. No, this isn’t an ultra luxe Beverly Hills clinic on Rodeo Drive, it’s a small business. It’s functional and gets the job done.
The doctor has 20+ years of experience, you’re in excellent hands. I really hope he hasn’t retired in 10-15 years because I’ll come back for a second facelift.
I also was independently examined by a dermatologist as well as a friend of mine that is also a surgeon. They both said the incision and suture quality was first rate.
The only thing I would probably do differently is have a large meal planned immediately after surgery, I was starving and dehydrated but they got me food and drink within an hour.
I had follow ups every other day for two weeks where they professionally cleaned my wounds and doctor monitored progress.
They took extra precautions not to remove my sutures too early….even though I wanted them out.
This isn’t a facelift factory you’re truly working with a team that is as invested in a good outcome as you are.
It’s only two weeks and I already look ten years younger, and I know that the results really don’t even peak until six months post op so can’t wait to see what that looks like.

I was searching for a clinic to have an endoscopic septoplasty, and my coordinator Kristina has been truly amazing throughout the whole process. She was always available, answered all my questions, and supported me with clear information whenever I needed it. Thanks to her efforts, I found a great clinic that could perform the surgery at a price I could afford. I’m really thankful for her professionalism, kindness, and hard work.

I highly recommend bookimed. I applied for blepharoplasty in July and 11th of August I had surgery in Antalya. This procedure lasted about one and half hour. After a week I still have a bit bruises but also I see a very good result. Dr Feridun Elmas is the best plastic surgeon. Thanks

A big con! Discount price $1800. After numerous messages with Zekra the price went up to between $2400 and $3000. I was told the op price would not exceed $3000. After an online consultation which gained no more information than already mentioned, the final quote came to $4700. If you book your flight, hotel and then attend a consultation you are already there so they will increase the price. Be warned, it's a big con.

I've been asked for more information and if not provided Trustpilot will delete my negative experience. Bookimed offered an operation with one night in hospital and 7 days of follow up checks and new dressings etc. The discounted price was $1800. After numerous messages this went up to between $2300 and $3000. However, I was told that it would not be more than $3000. After I very wisely did an online consultation instead of waiting until I arrived in Bangkok, the price went up to $4700! $2900 more than the misleading discounted price offered to hook honest people like me.

I highly recommend bookimed for finding your procedure abroad. It’s so easy and they don’t charge you extra. From all the quotations I received I used Dr Ergin at Istanbul aesthetic center from my breast explant. I’m thrilled with the outcome. Thank you bookimed.

It was a great experience. They handled all my concerns professionally and matched me to the doctor that is best suited for us. Also, they ensured our satisfaction throughout the journey. Booking a medical treatment with bookimed saved us a lot of time and effort.

I liked the surgeon and staff at the hospital. I did not like that o was not provided with more detailed instructions in advance of the surgery. I travelled overseas and was nervous and it would have been nice to have a better idea of what to expect day by day. I was told I would stay in a hotel and then stayed at the hospital the whole time. The nurses at the hospital were amazing and very attentive to my needs.

Sorry if I was a bit too much with all my questions - I tend to be an anxious person and need to hear the answers even if they’re obvious. That said, every single question of mine was met with patience and a smile. The staff were always helpful and responded kindly, which I really appreciated - even if I may have tested their patience a little!

Very good, smooth experience with Bookimed. They answered all of my many questions, they were quick at replying and helped me find a great hospital.
It also happened very quickly! I had decided only a week and a half before that I wanted to go for surgery and they helped set everything up without any problem. My coordinator Maksym has been great!
