I thought I could start this for free but, you have to pay close to one thousand five hundred for the first thirty days then close to two hundred every month after. I would've loved to have tried this as I could work eight hours a day but, unfortunately I can't. Wish they had a way to get people who don't have money in the bank to get started too.

I’ve hit my next milestone $5k!! While, my journey has been slower than I anticipated and planned I am so grateful for the opportunity has brought.
Shout out to my mentor Jim who has helped me understand this business on a whole new level. After my first session, everything clicked. The help sessions and trainings are also so helpful. The 1:1 sessions were really what glued it together though.

I did want to share a bit about my journey for anyone out there who may share a similar experience. I started in January this year after buying the Christmas package, it took me a bit of time to listen and believe this program. I spend about an hour or two a day all depending on multiple factors like work/family.

I work full time with a variable schedule. I am also a single parent with minimal family nearby to help out. The time I have for this is carved out strategically and intentionally. Like I said, I usually work on this for an hour or two a day. Sometimes more if my daughter sleeps in or less if I sleep in.

When I got started I listened to the training multiple times, listened to the help sessions while setting alerts and most importantly took action. In hindsight I spent too much of my budget on those initial books - I chalk this up to the learning and growth ie. #tuition

I’ve had books go missing, counterfeits, Amazon removed listings, and now multiple books missing from a shipment to Amazon. However, with all the training, I can definitely say I feel comfortable and confident working through all of the challenges this business throws at me.

To get here, I’ve been consistently working on the business with about 10-15 hours a week.

Onto the next goal - 5 figures!

My issue is the transparency and honesty of the video to try to entice you to sign up.

The presenter shows 3 ways to make your 10k monthly but MOST of the people using this have stated NO PROFIT for over 5 weeks or more while they are laying out the initial investment of 1497 and then the monthly 197 PLUS the book purchase investment. I'm all about people making a living but I'm not very impressed with the transparency portion. He acts like he's Mr. Honesty and this is the program of your dreams. The double your money back guarantee is bogus! You would have to spend almost 6000 under their requirements at a modest estimate to get back 3000? NOBODY is going to do that. The double your money back requires that you purchase 2 books a day for 30 days while paying your membership fee. The 6k is calculated at around a $20 per day cost for book purchase... Maybe you could find them for lower but if you want a decent profit you aren't buying at $1. I have a friend who did this and worked hard but couldn't afford to do purchases every day. After three months he had made $26 and that was with effort. He couldn't purchase every day because he didn't have a ton of cash laying around to use so he couldn't get double his money back. Since he couldn't get his money back he decided he would focus harder but didn't get him very far towards the goal of getting his initial investment back.

The initial presentation also fails to alert you to the fact that the initial investment is only good for the first 30 days and the monthly membership starts most likely before you have made a dime from your hard work / effort.

IF I had an extra 6k just laying around to not worry about losing I'd jump right in.... but I don't.

All these online programs blowing smoke up your rear are frustrating. Just looking for an opportunity that isn't front loaded so heavily to the favor of the seller and offers a way to make your investment back a bit quicker.

Between all these fake online investment software and all this, we can't trust anything online anymore and that's sad.

I have been working with the Bookprofits system for about two years now, and I believe it is one of the best opportunities you will find online today to generate a comfortable income while working from the comfort of your home. The constant high demand for the purchase of books through Amazon is such that you will never need to advertise, recruit people, or do anything other than follow the system that has been generously laid out. There are some who have criticized this business because it did not work for them, but I think that is just because they either didn’t follow the methods properly, or dedicate the consistent time and effort necessary to make it work. If you have a true entrepreneur’s spirit, and a mindset that you can succeed at whatever you seriously focus upon, then this business can definitely work for you.

i have asked for my refund in email three times in the same month. why?
no one got in touch as promised after paying the full money which was 1500
when eventually someone got in touch
they asked that i buy another program called accelerator program
i asked what this new accelerator program was
they said it is what students are using
this was obvoiously an upsale of some type
unmentioned from start at collection of 1500
i was furious and demanded a refund
which until now as i write this review have not been done

I'm first going to say I didn't purchase this program so I'm not in any way refering to the program and if it can make you money. What I want to talk about is the ridiculous double your money back guaranty. They say double your money back so at 1500×2 is 3000 they will give you back after 90 days as long as you buy and try to sell 2 books a day so lets do the math because after reading some reviews the red flags that came up for me when watching the seminar seem to be very true that this is not a program that you will really make any money at in the first 90 days. So taking that into considerations 2 books a day buying the cheaper books is 20 per book so 20×2=40 and these books don't sell that's why you want your money back because the program didn't work after following the strict guidelines they set. Now at 2 books a day this amount comes to 40 a day × 90 days =3600 dollars spent on buying 2 books a day for 90 days now add in the 1500 you spend to get the program 3600+1500
= 5100 dollars you would have spent just to get back 3000 that's not even including the 197 monthly fee that you will have to pay for 2 months. Also whatever fees that amazon will charge you to sell these books. So that double your money back guaranty now looks like a cost out of pocket of 2500 dollars of your money still spent after getting your 3000 back so really you have to lose 2500 to get back your 3000 dollar money back guaranty. If I can figure this all out just from watching the seminar then they also know that your going to lose 2500 bucks to get your money back guaranty witch really I think you wont get that money back anyways I think they will more then likely not give you your money back and you will be out 5500 dollar in 90 days. So does this look like a company that you want to trust what there saying is true when they already know that there money back guaranty is pure garbage. I've been a part of this program twice now, and it has worked well for me both times. My first time out in 2018, I created over $100k in Amazon sales within a year. I ended up leaving the program due to my needing to focus on other work commitments.

I joined again at the end of 2023 and just crossed the $10K in sales mark today (within 3 months of re-joining).

The tools are superb, and the community is helpful and encouraging. However, this is not a get-rich-quick scheme.

There is a substantial amount of work involved (especially at the beginning). If you're not willing to commit time and energy to learning the ropes and navigating the learning curve, this business will not be a good fit for you.

Grateful I found Book Profits! This started as a side hustle and has turned into my full time income.

Just listening, you know, like really listening, to the presenter became a bigger RED FLAG, you know, like a worrisome fear that he wasn't really telling us the REAL story, and over and over, how great their product is and never getting to the point, you know what I mean?
He kept saying the "everybody" would say the mysterious "system" was sure to be so successful and kept showing the same few people who had made a LOT of money, but .... Get To The Point.
We are grateful we watched for over an hour a product that could have been described clearly in 15 minutes, but "gonna" was his favorite word, except for Fantastic, and Really, and more words of that style, you know what we mean??? As I said once or twice before and I'll say it again, we are sooo grateful to have the experience with their 2-hour presentation and get a real feel for how they work, and not have to experience the months of waiting and watching and wondering,
So thank you and know that we are verrry grateful and excited.

The webinar sounded exciting and like something I could do at home after losing my husband to Covid-19 and trying to get my life back in order. I am a senior with mobility issues so I need to be able to work from home. I spent $1,497 for their course and then the software to find books was $197 per month after the first 30 days. I studied the course throughout the first month, but didn't feel comfortable enough to buy books for resale. Two months later I realized that I was paying $197 for something that I hadn't used and notified them via email to cancel the software subscription until I had time to finish the program. They replied that if I canceled the monthly software subscription, then I wouldn't have access to the program any longer. At that point I asked for a refund of the product and they denied it, saying that I had not followed their rules of using the software twice a day, purchasing two books per day and listing them on Amazon for sale, etc. They also said the $1497 only covered the first 30 days, which is nothing more than a scam in my opinion. They did finally offer to let me come back within the next six months and start over to use the access paid for. I've put a lot of thought into their offer and decided not to go back, because they appear to be an unethical business. Unfortunately, they only care about the money. They should learn that you need to treat people the same way you would like to be treated. My next step is to contact the FTC about their business strategy.

Bookprofits.com has again offered to allow me to return to the program and start over. I do not trust them and feel that very few people succeed with this program. You should run the other way when someone doesn't offer a guaranteed refund without any additional requirements. I spent time trying to learn the program, but found it very time consuming and complicated. I wasn't willing to pay $197 every month for software that I was not using. No program is for everyone and they should be more concerned about their reputation instead of denying refunds. I stand by my statement that Book Profits just wants your money and does not care about anything else.

This company had a very compelling sales video but once I paid, I found that there was a subscription requirement (not disclosed in the sales video) and a number of hours to be spent on this program per week and I had a full time job that was 50+ hours per week. I wrote and told them I would like a refund because I was not aware of the time commitment and additional subscription costs (in addition what I spent on the course which was a lot of $$) and they refused. I felt like this was a bait and switch. They overpromised and did not deliver what they promised in the promotional video. I would advise anyone to run from this opportunity.

This is the company, I don’t have it confused. I have email communication as proof that I was denied a refund immediately after I purchased the program. The sales video did not disclose a monthly membership.

Half truth or half lie?
This is a business model that gives access to a private software that searches for books.
It has a suspicious history of changing names. After being Higher Path Ventures they have numerous rebranding from Textbook Money, Book Arbitrage Profit System and Book Profits. Why change name? several times?? in so little time?
After watching promotional videos several times, the "Simple 100K Side Biz" "10K a month" video that Luke Lango presented and still presents this business model as being VERY easy, guaranteed and with very high profits I had an interview with a promoter (and manager?) in December 2022. I asked a lot of questions and he never contradicted what was said in the promotional video. I made it very CLEAR that I had a very SMALL budget. After making the payment I started. There is a training with several short videos, very very basic training as I had to ask literally dozens of questions to support (until now!) and whenever I complained about the insufficiency of this training I was told that it was sufficient (but they have an expensive mentoring program and I ask myself why if the basic training is enough??). Many problems with Amazon, prepcenters and others that are specific to the business and there was NEVER any mention to the (high) probability of having them. The FACEBOOK group is controlled by those responsible for BooksProfit and if someone makes a post that contradicts the spirit of success, this post will not be displayed! NO transparency!!! There is a Marketplace where you can buy selections of books at a profit, but these selections also do not make a profit when the book finally goes on sale. Nothing here is as stated and propagated by Luke. The amount of capital required is MUCH much higher than stated. The profit is immensely SMALLER. Learning takes a LONG TIME and can be quite prolonged (months and months and months...) If I lose, it's because I failed! Never them! Training being completely weak and childish or not being able to make a profit in certain conditions is something they never admit!
Many specific problems of this business model OMITTED. The time and effort required for this business were all omitted or simplistically presented as very easy and profitable. All of this is a serious problem as you have to pay the expensive monthly BookProfits subscription fee (in addition to Amazon) impossible to pay with no profits and high fees with a low budget (and I stated from the beginning that I had a low budget )
The guarantee that is promised is misleading! UNREALISTIC and not applicable to reality. There is a mention that if you do not make a profit you will be paid double but you will have to prove that you bought books and did not make a profit but the conditions imposed in the guarantee are unrealistic and are impossible to do for an average person. Misleading advertising!
I was deceived with false and completely unrealistic expectations! Most of my books are in a neutral position or in the red! Only a few give profits that don't pay for all losses!

BookProfits.com has changed its name a few times. Previously (or otherwise) known as Textbook Money as well as Higher Path Ventures. Which is often a red flag and one I didn't research first, but wish I had.

Long story short, the program is overpromised and underdelivered. Based on a recommendation from T. Harv Eker Academy (whom I've followed for years, but won't as much now), I watched the webinar and loved the idea/referral. Having an extensive background as an entrepreneur, I thought it was well laid out, the history seemed legit and the model was pretty cut and dry. I invested in the training for $1500 as well as the monthly membership for support and software at $197/mo. I went through the training twice, some modules 3-4 times, and asked a ton of questions both to support as well as in the Facebook group (many of which were deleted before they were answered as transparency isn't the name of the game in their FB group)

Over the course of four months, I invested a total of $5K in training, software, support, book/inventory purchases, Amazon Seller Central membership (to fulfill my orders as prime), and also paid for book prep service. My return has been $1500.

So, an expensive lesson that I'm sharing here.

I followed the "recipe" and while some of my books sold, the volume of returns was unexpected and the duration they sat unsold was far greater than any of the analytics would have dictated. I need to add that the analytics kept changing... The peak season would show as August one month (for year-over-year history), then show as November a month later. The software they have is the big seller...analyzing the book sale history, which is how you determine which are the best books to buy for your inventory. I only purchased textbooks with August and January peaks, but when they weren't selling, and my book was only one of three available, I'd review the analytics again and the peak changed to another month... Very frustrating.

The other frustration was missing information in the training about how many sellers would be competing for the same sale was really not clarified. I'd buy a book that only had say 5-10 copies available and then when my book was finally listed on Amazon (4-5 weeks later), there'd by 50 copies for sale.

The deleted questions on Facebook and often rude comments by either the support staff or other members were really tough, if not offensive. While many have found success at this, some (not all) veterans take that for granted and some of them (not all) were just annoyed that we had questions...which didn't make for a very supportive "community" which was a very strong selling point for me personally in the initial webinar. I can only imagine how much else had been deleted in the FB group from other upset or confused newbies...

Over six months, I purchased 70 books and sold all of them...many at far below what I paid just to end it... Maybe 40 at a profit.

Overall, the volume of time, money, and tolerance that is needed to make this successful is extensive. That is what is so very off... They promise that it's a few hours a week, that you don't have to invest much, and that you are part of a "very supportive" community...

If I were to make back even what I paid for in training and monthly membership, I'd have to have stayed invested for at least a year, had at least $10-12K (or about $1K per month), and would have had to be very, very patient with the long term members that became a bit snobbish about their success. There are a ton of moving parts and the long-timers have it well-oiled, so they don't have time for the dumb questions was my overall impression.

So... If you have some money to blow (I recommend $10-12K), about 15-30 hours per week, and perhaps a team of people to help you out, get after it... You can make a nice profit. You'll have extensive competion, but if you hang in there for about 1-3 years, you'll be pleased with your investment. If you want to see any profit over your initial investment in the first 3-6 months in a supportive environment as they promote in their sales efforts...NOT A CHANCE...
