I ordered a gift box for my friend's birthday. When it arrived there was body oil leaking through the corner of the outer box. When opening the box, the gift box inside had the lid separate so all the contents had fallen out, leaked and been rattling around in the outer box ruining the packaging. Customer service were not that helpful and suggested I return it to a store. I had to wash all the items as they were covered in oil, drive to a shopping center at the werkend and pay for parking. luckily the shop had one gift box left so was able to exchange in time for my friends birthday. A very stressful experience.

order 830879345. I ordered Estee Lauder double wear foundation on a great offer, but received unfortunately 3 completely different products (dry eye relief), phoned within 5 minutes of delivery to let you know. Instead of resending my correct order directly and apoligize, I was told to drop the wrong products off at the nearest Boots shop and than my order would be resend in 3-5 days. I could not while I was at the shop collect what i ordered. In good faith I dropped it off that same-day only to be told that I would get a refund, not NOW but in 3-5 days. Mistakes can happen but being lied to with clearly wrong info plus having to make a trip to shop , is not considered making amends within a customer facing organisation . You now have my money in total for 8-10 days, whilst the offer might not be available nor any stock, once you have returned my funds. It sounds like fraudulent behaviour to trick customers into buying some great offer, which you cannot nor intend to fulfill, and than keep their money for about 8-10 days. I guess that will improve your cash flow. Please advise why you say you would resend, which is normal after an error, but don't? Also can you guarantee I will be able to get the original product against the agreed price that I paid? In my organisation the resend is done the same day, as we already made a mistake once but NEVER twice and it does not require the disappointed customer to send the wrong product back first. We trust them, as we have their details to do so at their next available opportunity. Maybe a consideration...... you have my order details so trust you can contact me via the account email with your answer.
