Amazing service from the Audiologist

The Audiologist (Rose) was absolutely amazing and cannot be praised enough. She took her time with my elderly parents, she was patient, professional , friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you Rose.

The only short fall and area of concern was in relation to when we booked the appointment online, it was not clear that the clinic area was up 1.5 flights of stairs, and my mother has significant mobility issues, sight loss, Parkinson's and dementia.

Lee Mason: First Class Service

Lee Mason gave an excellent service. He had expert knowledge, explained the results of audiogram and which hearing aid would be the most effective, was personable, empathetic and a good listener.
He instilled trust and confidence, clearly enjoyed his job and helping people.
On the negative side, I was surprised to find the audiology room located on the upper floor, not suitable for the elderly or those with poor mobility/health.
The room was cramped with no natural light or ventilation.
It was also impossible to get a message to Lee by telephone.
The staff did not answer when I rang the store on several occasions which meant I had to make inconvenient trips into town.

Good, professional experience

The only criticism I can make is that my appointment was postponed twice. However once my third appointment got under way I can honestly report that everything was carried out in a very professional manner.

Absolutely terrible from boots…

Absolutely terrible from boots Peterborough and kings Lynn
Where do I start, my mum paid £3500 for hearing aids, first they never connected to her phone properly so I had do for her, then ok for a month or so, then 1 had a fault , after waiting 3 wks for a appointment they said one was faulty so would send to fix, and connected a spare pair to her phone so not ideal but ok, 4 weeks past and she had call and appointment made to fit them, she turned up and they had been left at reception and nobody could connect them, they also demanded loan ones back
Then she got home and waited a week till I was visiting to ask me to connect, and they were still faulty,
She went today for appointment and there was nobody there to see her they said she was wrong til she produced the email confirmation and ten just said nobody could see her and go online to make another appointment

She’s 80 and not not going out as she’s embarrassed at not hearing
I tried emailing them and they don’t reply

Not sure what to do ,

you replied as usual asking me email you, i did this yesterday and no responce , it cant wait weeks my mum cant hear

The Audiologist put me completely at my Ease

The Audiologist Lee Mason took time to explain to about the hearing aids, what I should expect from them and put me at my ease.
I was impressed that there are follow-up appointments to make sure that the hearing aids are absolutely right for me. Having worn them for a whole day I find that they are comfortable and I no longer have to turn up the volume on my TV or use sub titles! Excellent.

My elderly mother went to get new…

My elderly mother went to get new hearing aids a year ago, they didn’t fit her ear right, we informed boots prior to money back guarantee period. The audiologist confirmed the moulds were made incorrect and made a new set. (Original moulds made in Essex branch)However because of the odd shape canal in my mothers ear, these also didn’t stay in properly, a further two sets were tried, at which point my mothers mental health was suffering through not having adequate hearing. The audiologist said he would put in for a full refund. However Boots hearing care, refuse to give her a refund, stating it was outside the guarantee period, although we reported it before. Consequently, they returned the hearing aids, but that’s all, no charging etc, so not all what she paid for. In two of the letters I’ve written asking for answers to questions I’ve raised. We are being totally ignored.
Absolutely discusting.
Would never recommend any one to this company
