Outstanding service at Boots hearingcare

Recently made an appointment at Boots hearing care in Macclesfield. Chris, the audiologist, couldn’t have been more helpful. He diagnosed my hearing loss and clearly explained the different options available. After a second appointment to have my hearing aids fitted, I’ve just returned from my final checkup and I couldn’t be happier. My hearing is vastly improved and the whole experience very pleasant. Many thanks

75 and in need of hearing aids

At 75 my hearing has deteriorated and a recent burglary when I was upstairs in the house jolted me into a test and subsequent hearing aids.
Boots has closed Handforth which was the most convenient location, and Macclesfield only carrying out tests and fittings 2 days a week (interspersed with Buxton).
I had a test ? a year ago so knew the procedure - clear fall-off in acuity for the higher bands to be expected so two aids fitted on visit 3. I didn't take in the explanation of the aids facilities with WiFi, bluetooth but have a manual to read at leisure. Helpful 0% interest finance arrangement eases the pain.

Really not appropriate customer service…

Really not appropriate customer service , not helpful the staff on the till .

I was doing my shopping that I always do at boots and I get a great service but this time the answer from the sale assistant was not the best .

I was pay for little item that the till is not scanned the barcode and the staff till saI’d , you need to get another 1 . It’s was massive line of customer and well is not possible and she said ^we’ll do you want me to leave the till and get for you ? ^

The answer was rude for a customer.
Maybe she need express her self better not in the rude way . Then after she start to challenge me with some comments and in the end I said , do you know what I will leave it everything.

She challenging customer to get fighting this is not a customer service and this make the customer to not return to your shop . She made me feeling uncomfortable during my shopping and I left in the end I didn’t buy it . Not nice atmosphere for other customers watching her during the time she harassment me .

Also I notice that since I am from Italy and I have accent, she also not want deal with my problem. This is for of harassment and respect.

What I am said this is not the nice attitude for a staff to customer, missing a lot respect on top on it as customer respect staff work also staff work in the shop need respect customer and speck with right and good way . Training staff with a good customer service can be a good solution. This my advice. Thank you

I went for a hearing test at Boots…

I went for a hearing test at Boots today. The guy performing the test went at my ears like a mafia hitman with an ice pick. He rammed his instrument into my ear causing pain, then asked if that was painful as if that was his intent. He followed up with a repeat on my other ear. I have cancelled my follow up with him and won’t be back to Boots. Someone should tell him ears are delicate and sensitive, though you would think that would be day 1 of training.

The response from Boots said they wanted to discuss this further and would be in touch. This was aimed at the people reading my review and not me, how do I know? They haven't been in touch! So they have compounded my bad experience by lying in their response.
