DO NOT BUY this Bosch model. Black Ceramic Hob PKE611CA3E It is DANGEROUS!!
I bought an Electric Bosch Hob from AOL for my new kitchen being fitted by our fitters so ordered it in good time . My fitters put it in a month later and i have had so much trouble in trying to clean around the knobs. They are too near each other and if you knock them the hobs go on far too easily! Ive tried being so careful to clean in between but they are dangerous! TERRIBLE DESIGN FAULT
In the instructions it says Do Not take the knobs off as this invalidates your guarantee.
I wrote to AOI and they said they need a code from Bosch before they can send me a different one. Spoke to Bosch who dismissed my claim and said i should go back to AOI. I wrote again to Bosch who said they would get an engineer out! He came and i told him how dangerous the knobs were and also could not clean in between them. He immediately took the knobs off. I said straighaway he should not have done that as my guarantee would be invalidated ! He just wrote a report that he could not mend this. Somebody spoke to me from Bosch after and said nothing could be done. I said this hob is dangerous and could start a fire - she said she would speak to her supervisor and ask what she can do. Never heard back from her! DO NOT BUY THIS HOB IT IS DANGEROUS AND COULD CAUSE A FIRE OR SERIOUS BURNS. SHAME ON YOU BOSCH!! EXTREMELY BAD DESIGN FAULT.
Update yesterday received a brand new coffee machine . I literally put it on the hob for a minute, the knob turned and burnt the base of my new machine. Ruined!! These knobs are ridiculous and dangerous!!

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from Bosch.
I fully appreciate that my dishwasher is now out of warranty, and I wasn’t expecting a free repair or replacement. I simply contacted Bosch to see if there was any goodwill gesture or support they could offer, especially as the dishwasher has never performed particularly well since we bought it and has only been used a handful of times.
Unfortunately, the customer service was very disappointing. I had to speak to three different advisers before my call was escalated to Chris, but there was no empathy, no willingness to listen, and no attempt to offer any form of goodwill or meet me halfway. The response was simply that the appliance was out of warranty, with no interest in discussing the situation further.
I understand that warranties have limits, but good customer service is about how you treat people, and on this occasion Bosch fell well below my expectations.
This experience has genuinely put me off buying Bosch appliances again. It’s a real shame, as I expected much better from a premium brand.

how about NO stars? purchased dishwasher for $1,249.00 in May of 2025 with a one year warranty and low and behold July 2026 rolls around and the control panel doesn’t work anymore. the control panel replacement part is also no longer manufactured by the company.
We have an integrated Bosch fridge freezer that kept frosting up, so we called them out for a repair. The engineer who came out was rude and dismissive, and simply told us this was “the way it should be” – no explanation, no attempt to actually diagnose the problem, just fobbed off.
To make things worse, he refused to put the integrated doors back on before he left, leaving us to sort it out ourselves - an additional cost!
When we contacted customer service to complain, it was no better – slow to respond and rude when they finally did get back to us. No urgency, no accountability, and no interest in resolving the actual fault with the fridge freezer.
Appalling service from start to finish. Would not recommend and won’t be using them again.

The dials on my oven are so poorly designed. I have to use a torch to read what setting I'm on and have to kneel on the floor to look up at the white marker to see what temp I'm on. I'm going to have to paint the white dot on the top (face) of the dial. I dont think the designers went tested this oven in normal lighting conditions or at under counter height. Shockingly poor.

I have a built in fridge freezer, it’s 7 years old.
The fridge part has a bottle shelf in the door, and although it’s not been misused or overloaded, it’s broken in the same place twice now, and a replacement from Bosch costs with p and p nearly £40!
I have complained to them that the replacement I bought from them 2 years ago has failed exactly as before and pointed out many other people have had exactly the same issues and therefore they must’ve known about this , and I’ve said the shelf design is inherently flawed.
Of course they denied all knowledge of an issue despite poor feedback on their own website!!
I asked for a free or discounted replacement ,,,,,but computer says no,,,,,,and the replies I had back both hid behind the fact the the appliance was ‘out of warranty’ even when I disputed that the shelf that had ,again failed, was NOT the same age as the appliance, and I sent a photo of their invoice to prove it! The answer was again ‘out of appliance warranty’ , how crazy is that!!!???
So I won’t ever buy another Bosch appliance, and I see like most things , they are made in TURKEY now!

Exactly one year after purchasing our Bosch dishwasher (SHP65CM5N), it required a major service call resulting in over $650 in part replacements. This level of unreliability from a premium brand is highly disappointing. We outfitted our entire home remodel with new Bosch appliances, and this experience leaves us incredibly anxious about the longevity of our choices. Based on this premature failure, we can no longer trust or recommend the brand. This will undoubtedly be our last Bosch purchase.
DO NOT BUY! My washing machine is less than three years old and I was just told by the technician that it’ll cost £650 to fix. The motor is not working at all. The quality is awful and shouldn’t last for 3 years. I have other Bosch appliances with issues so I’d advise everyone not to buy anything from Bosch. I asked for this to be replaced and my request was declined. Do not buy guys

I have my oven trip, I call the technicians to come down. Was quote 95dollar for quote.
They come down, took the s/n number then follow by asking me what is the fault I face, quote me a 450 without opening up and check.
What's the point when they can quote me on phone, just to earn my 95
Never ever ever will I buy from Bosch again. After ordering online, I was sent a completely different product. The customer service experience was farcical. It has taken 3 months and me threatening legal action to get a refund. There is no way to escalate issues and the responses on email are standard non-specific cut and paste answers. If I could give no stars I would.
Customer service is woeful.
Products are good but just done order direct! You will struggle to get a refund.
Awful American fridge freezer. Replaced my worn Samsung with a Bosch side by side American fridge freezer with ice and water. Worst thing I ever did. Firstly it looks cheap. The internal single light is a bright cold light and as it’s on the top it means when full the lower shelves are dark. You need to turn a light on in the room to see inside! The water and ice control panel is awful. It’s a one screen touch control so when you want to move between ice and water you will also always activate the temperature control so every single time you select water or ice you also raise or lower the temperature of the fridge and freezer and then have to reset this. Kids use the water and ice and of course change the temp each time. No way to isolate the temp control once set. The ice maker is terrible and won’t produce anywhere near the ice you use per day and as such have to top up the ice bucket with bags of supermarket ice.
I plan to scrap this 12 month old appliance and replace it with anything other than a Bosch. Did the person that designed this have any experience at all?
Terrible
Pressure washer Universal Aquatak, Absolutely hopeless, what a piece of JUNK, used for 1 hour initially then 20 minutes into second use it failed…..Service was even worse! returned it to Bosch for repair only to be told it was 3 days out of warranty, repair would cost £100!!
Bosch is definitely not what Bosch used to be IMO.

Rotten company only interested in selling and making money. Customer care is zero, customer satisfaction is zero. Bought an impact driver 18 months ago, actually it was a gift, and Bosch are refusing to repair it for free u dear their so -called 2 year warranty. Pathetic and greedy multi million pound company. My advice is buy elsewhere
I’m extremely disappointed with Bosch. The dishwasher I purchased was sold as new, yet it had a hole at the bottom that someone had clearly tried to patch up. The Bosch engineer confirmed this, but since then Bosch has been evasive and unclear about what they can do to help me obtain a refund. I should not have to chase two companies for a basic resolution to a product that was never fit for purpose. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Bosch’s quality control and customer support.
Very disappointed and would no longer recommend Bosch. I had an old indesit that was really cheap new -soldiered on for 10 years without a problem and cleaned everything brilliantly. when i changed my kitchen i gave that away and got an expensive bosch - it does not clean well! it does not even get tea stains out of mugs - i mean new stains from one use, not old ground-in stains. lots of things, inc cutlery and plates need to be washed up after running the machine. I now have to examine everything before i put it away. and yes it has detergent, salt and rinse aid in it. and yes the filter is clean.
Bought a Bosch vacuum cleaner from Argos and found that the dust container was missing! How is that even possible and how on earth did that pass quality control??
Argos were brilliant and gave a refund immediately. Ended buying another brand. So disappointed! It was meant to be a gift so just as well that I bothered to check the box.

Yet more problems trying to register a product. Picture of the plate with the required numbers on sent and it says successful but can’t find the product. Tried putting the numbers in myself, same problem. Rang their helpline, should be not very helpful line, but because it’s a small appliance it can only be done online and it rings off! Now I have the internet despite being an OAP, which many do not. It’s a joke!

Our 85 year old neighbour asked if we could help him claim his Bosch 5 year washing machine warranty, so we obliged. At the outset it said you could register with a mobile or email. Fortunately he has just recently bought a smartphone which we’ve assisted him with.
We began the process with the qr code and verified the mobile number and provided the requested details. After completing this information it would not allow further progress without an email address. In the end , to complete the process, I used one of my email addresses, finished the registration process and printed the warranty certificate.
Come on Bosch, you need to think this through from an elderly customer perspective! Why should a washing machine user have to own a mobile phone AND have access to email - not at all user friendly!!!
Updated
So a prompt reply from Bosch but clearly they either hadn’t read or completely failed to comprehend my review. As I said , I completed the registration process and printed the warranty certificate for my neighbour!! You need to review your processes for elderly people that don’t have mobile or email!!!!!

My Bosch dishwasher- only 3 years old- wont work! Door wont shut (tried all obvious fixes) , just wont shut so won't run!
Called an engineer- who was surprised at a Bosch of that age going wrong. Though seeing the average rating here, maybe he shouldn't be surprised!
Currently the worst dishwasher i've ever had! And I've had a few!
More info - Bosch have approached me-
not asked for much detail yet.
We'll see what happens!
