I bought a bosch ergomix 600 blender with mini food processor attachment. However the lid of the mini processor is wipe clean only. So if I make a mayonnaise or anything remotely liquid, and it splashes on the top I can't wash it. Madness. Not clear on their website or instructions. Don't buy. Unhygienic.

What is quite amazing is that since my previous interaction with Bosch Customer Service just TWO weeks ago they have received a further NINE yes NINE scores of one star on Trustpilot from a whole variety of sources...that kind of consistency almost needs reporting to a Government standards agency!! I will not tell you of my further experiences with them as I gave them up and used a local guy whose diagnosis was a blocked filter caused by a £1 coin that by its condition had been there for some time. After buying Bosch all my life I will never do so again due to the attitude of Bosch Customer Service who in phone calls and voice mail messages were only interested in making money and telling me i would have to pay £109 for every visit and never related to me once as a valued customer who had problems due to the breakdown. I was simply a revenue source and I was left feeling a bit of a nuisance to their existence. They do not seem to understand that they have an attitude problem (as anyone reading these reviews can discern) and that they need training and to take a leaf out of the many companies that have suberb customer service like in my experience Ocado and Amazon, who I use regularly due to my lack of mobility. Let us hope someone at Bosch takes some note as they used to be seen as a prestige brand not a one star one.
I only gave one star because i was unable to give zero stars.
I bought Bosch appliances as i thought they produced quality appliances and would care about a level of satisfactory customer service. But this seems not to be the case and I unfortunately bought a washing machine in September 2024.
It developed a major fault in June 2025 when it was only 10 months old ( no that is not a typo). A Bosch service technician attended a a week later and it was realised a major repair was needed for which he did not have the parts and suggested we try to get a replacement machine which we did.
However despite such major repairs being required Bosch refused to replace the machine which was clear NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE OR OF A SATISFACTORY QUOTE and insisted the machine should be repaired and deemed it perfectly acceptable to leave us without a washing machine for over two weeks while waiting for parts despite explaining I had a disability which significantly impacts my mobility and that I was struggling to use laundry facilities ( not to mention the additional costs involved)

My old bosh 320c rotas decided to give up today. I cant complain I've had it over 20 years doing my lawn the local priests and lent to many people so it deserves a rest. I decided to replace and I bought the bosch 32co corded rotary 1200 as that is supposed to be on par with my old one. The box is flimsy there was no cord storage and the flimsy black plastic thing that the picture said should hold the cord in place is not fit for purpose. Fortunately I still had my old mower and I was able to remove the cord storage from that and put on the new one. My old grass box doesn't fit or I would have replaced that too. The black plastic thong that is suppose to keep the cord tidy where it is attatched to the switch on the handle is not fit for purpose. It shows a piece that should attatch to the cord to attatch the cord to cord was not in the bow. The mower is much heavier than my old one. I would have preferred a bit less machine and the safety of cord storage and cord clip to hold the plug to the cord safely. Hopefully it will last as long as my old one at least and I will use cable ties to make the cords safe. Otherwise I won't repurchase from bosh.
Very poor quality products. I bought a washing machine via John Lewis; whilst the thing does wash it collects slime under the rubber seal that marks the clothes it is supposed to wash. The seal needs to be cleaned and then clothes washed again. The machine drum also very easily becomes unbalanced and the wash cycle stops. I have also had a cordless vacuum cleaner who’s rechargeable battery stopped recharging, only an engineer can swap it out at a cost more than the vacuum, so a perfectly working cleaner went to landfill. I will never, ever buy from Bosch again, shoddy does not come close to this utterly dreadful company.
Great appliances completely let down by their software. Impossible to connect to iOS apps. Managed to connect after 10 tries for the microwave and the oven but the dishwasher never gets connected. If you are into remote usage, I would seriously think twice about buying these appliances. For such a big company to make their customers go through so much just to connect is unacceptable.

I haven't been able even to view my new fridge freezer and washing machine, as the delivery men refused to unpack them and remove packaging (as stated on my delivery email), and I am unable to do so by myself. They said that their van was too small. I was still expected to sign to say that nothing was damaged, but I can't actually see my fridge freezer, even to know that it's the correct appliance.

3rd June 2026 - Bought a lawnmower online .
£450 .
Didn’t receive it due to an address issue .
Spoke to customer services and generated a voucher code .
I was told they would email someone else to get authorisation to send another lawnmower .
Still nothing .
I cancelled my order and asked for a refund .
Told by that a refund would be sent .
It’s been 2 weeks and no refund .
It’s now the 6th July 2026.
Useless
Just go to shop and physically buy a lawnmower .
Do not use Bosch !

Very dissapointed in this company! I needed a new washing machine (wish I had looked on this site first). But was recommended Bosch so ordered a new washing machine which cost over £600 and I paid to have my old one removed and new one fitted. Ordered it on the Saturday was given a delivery schedule of 3-5 days, then got notification deliver would be the Friday (so exactly 5days). Then saw the notes that my old machine needed to be unplugged drained and ready to move out. So had to pay £50 for a local plumber to do that for me as I’m disabled and live on my own with my children. Then on the Thursday I get a phone call to say delivery for Friday can’t go ahead now and next delivery date would be Tuesday, so that’s now over 10 days since my order! So I’m left with no washing machine for 10 days and having 3 children I get through a lot of washing! Because I’m disabled I’m not able to take my washing elsewhere to get it washed and I can’t hand wash! To top it all my old washing machine is in the middle of my kitchen for bosh to remove it! I’m absolutely disgusted as I then sent an email to bush complaining and asking them to provide a good will gesture (maybe something like refund me for delivery and removal) and they basically write back and said they are not liable to give me a goodwill gesture!!! Absolutely furious I have never had this before from any other company I have ordered from, always had delivery from other companies within 3days and once when someone couldn’t deliver on their agreed delivery date they gave me £100 back!
I will NEVER order from this company again and I would have cancelled the order but didn’t want to go through the stress of reordering from another company and going through another wait on delivery. This has caused me so much stress not having a washing machine for over 10days!
Do not order from this inconsiderate company 😡

Great fridge freezer but no longer supplied with egg trays after a change in policy by Bosch Home Appliances. Unacceptable downgrade by Bosch who offer the 3 egg trays as accessories at a cost of £16.37 including postage. On a fridge freezer costing £899, these egg trays should be included!
I am disappointed with my experience of Bosch customer service and the handling of a warranty claim for my Bosch WGE03408GB washing machine.
Within the manufacturer’s two-year guarantee, the plastic door frame began to crack. Between December 2024 and July 2025, Bosch engineers attended my home on twelve occasions. During that time, the door frame and associated parts were replaced multiple times, but the same fault continued to recur.
Despite all of these repair attempts, the underlying issue was never resolved. Following the final engineer visit, I was informed that Bosch would take no further action and that any future engineer visits could be chargeable, even though the washing machine remained within its two-year manufacturer’s guarantee.
I appreciate that any manufacturer can occasionally produce a faulty appliance, and I also appreciate the professionalism of the engineers who attended my home. My disappointment is not that a fault occurred, but that repeated repairs failed to resolve it and no lasting solution was offered.
Fortunately, AO, the retailer, remained involved throughout the process and worked with Bosch in an attempt to find a resolution. When it became clear that the recurring fault could not be rectified, AO honoured my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and replaced the washing machine with a new LG model.
This review reflects my own experience with the Bosch WGE03408GB and Bosch’s handling of my warranty claim. Others may have different experiences, but based on mine, I cannot recommend this model or the way this particular warranty case was handled.

Update 2 Aug - still no working machine ☹️ (appliance fault originally reported to Bosch 15 June)
48 hours before the repair appt of 31 July Bosch cancelled the appt citing ‘no spare part available’. That’s right - the part that was taking a month to travel to the UK from Germany either didn’t make it or was lost en route or possibly never even ordered……Bosch either unable or unprepared to give me any explanation of what happened to the spare part and are unable to give me any indication of a repair date.
So here we are - 6 weeks without a washing machine during which time I’ve had to struggle with my partner going into hospital and undergoing MRSA protocols which has involved washing by hand and taking things into the launderette at a v stressful time. Despite making Bosch aware of this no sympathy - no apologies given.
This is another public service announcement to anyone consider considering purchasing a Bosch appliance.
Don’t.

I purchased a Series 6 WNG25401GB Freestanding Washer Dryer end of September last year. On 14th of June this year it developed a fault where it was stuck midway through a wash. A repair was booked under the warranty and they came out on the 16th.. Apparently its electronic ‘brain’ had broken so one was ordered and the engineer came back to replace that 5 days later. Later that same day - we had exactly the same fault happen. Another phone call - another appointment visit end of June. More faults discovered. Was told by service engineer he would discuss with his manager but it could be that the machine itself would be replaced and I was to expect a call from someone. The only response I got was an automatic message from Bosch later that day giving me a service appointment for the 31st of July??? no explanation - no call - I had no idea what was going on or why a service visit had been booked - and for four weeks away??? Surely there must be a mistake. Sadly after phoning Bosch they confirmed that a new part needed to be replaced and that there was no stock - it was being produced in Germany and then the shipping itself could up to 14 days…. so it looks as thoough i’ll be without a washing machine for slightly over six weeks. Is this some sort of record?
I complained to both Bosch and to the retailer I purchased it from (John Lewis) and sought (unsuccessfully) to seek either a refund or a replacement . I’ve got very little faith in this machine now and If I’ve known about the potential for weeks of delays getting spares parts from Germany prior to purchasing I’d never have bought it.
So my experience of buying the most expensive washer dryer I have ever purchased is the machine has failed on multiple levels in a little over six months from new - and that spare parts can take up to a month to come into this country.
I want to share this to help inform anyone considering purchasing. They are highly expensive machines and from my experience are not worth it. I’ve had a variety of washer dryers over the years - Electrolux / Hoover / AEG and they all went on for years. Yes some developed faults from time to time but nothing like this - and the parts were readily available.
PS The only party that comes out well from all this was John Lewis - after speaking to one of their customer services reps they said they would go through to Bosch directly to see whether they could secure me a replacement machine rather than having to wait another month for a repair . She reported back to say they categorically refused to do that and said to her that I would have to wait for the part to come in. So thanks John Lewis - I know you tried❤️.

I was about to order a Bosch product, but after reading so many 1-star reviews, I've decided to look elsewhere. While I understand that not every negative review tells the full story, the sheer number of 1 star reviews has put me off choosing this brand. I last bought a Bosch product 15 years ago and it lasted. This makes myself assume product quality/service has significantly dropped in that time.
Bought series 6 cordless hoover can't hoover my carpets very easy very hard near impossible to push so I back with my old Dyson V6 everything else is ok with my Bosch but what use is a hoover that you simply can't use very easy can't push over carpets it's useless wheels are very stiff don't know if it's an issue with this hoover it w other reviews said the same issues it Hoover's up ok just so hard to push and my carpets not big pile it's an issue using on carpets it works but iff yuu have big pile carpets or are going to use on carpet forget this hoover

I have been a Bosch customer for many years and expected much better from a premium brand. Unfortunately, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.
My dishwasher is still covered by a 5-year warranty. At the end of April 2026, I reported that the lower tray had rusted and broken.
Initially, Bosch advised that although normal wear and tear is not covered, the rusted lower tray would be replaced under warranty. I was told the replacement part had to come from Germany and would arrive by the end of May. I accepted this and waited patiently.
By the end of May, the part had still not arrived. I called again and was told to wait.
I called again in early June... then again in mid-June... and then again towards the end of June. Every time I was given the same response:
The part is on its way.
Someone will contact you shortly.
Please continue to wait.
After more than two months of waiting, I finally spoke with the Resolution Team today (representative: Izee).
To my complete surprise, I was told that the tray may not actually be covered under warranty after all. I was informed that an engineer would first visit my home, charge me for the visit, and then decide whether the rusted tray qualified for warranty replacement.
This is completely unacceptable.
If Bosch believed from the beginning that the part might not be covered, why was I told for over two months that:
the replacement had been approved,
the part had been ordered,
and I simply needed to wait?
Instead of honesty and transparency, I received repeated promises that ultimately turned out to be incorrect.
The issue isn't simply the warranty decision—it's the poor communication, inconsistent information, and complete lack of ownership throughout the process.
For a company with Bosch's reputation, I expected much higher standards of customer care.
I sincerely hope someone from Bosch senior management reviews this case because no customer should have to spend over two months chasing updates, only to be told the original information may have been wrong.
This experience has unfortunately left me with very little confidence in Bosch's after-sales service.

I purchased a service part for a grinder from their website through the UK based office. The item never arrived and several months have now elapsed. For proof of delivery there is a photo of the it being held by the delivery driver outside my front door (not posted) and proof of delivery with a forged signature. I was at work at the time and nobody was in on the day of the alleged delivery.
Several phone calls and emails later and I’m still waiting for a replacement and nobody is responding, despite there being an open ticket. The customer service is appalling and I will never purchase another bosh product again.
Update!
Once I posted this review, within seconds there was a reply with an explanation as to the delay in getting me a replacement part. (Attached to the review). No mention of poor communication and overall poor customer service and clearly constructed by an AI assistant called Clair. This gives the false impression they really care and a human has actually looked into this for me. Dishonest and misleading!
Update! The Bosch reply has been removed. 🤔

Fine generally, but if you want to add an item after you’ve set it to set start with an overnight time delay it takes at least five minutes before the door unlocks. Why?
Excellent customer service from Bosch. I phoned about an issue with my dishwasher (still under guarantee), spoke to an actual person and was given an appointment the next morning. The engineer kept me fully updated on his arrival time. It wasn't a fault. He found that I was pressing the wrong button! The controls on this updated model work slightly differently from my previous one and he was really helpful in explaining other features of the machine that I hadn't figured out.

Declining quality at a once great manufacturer. An oven came with an earth leakage fault requiring engineer visit. Door seal has perished after only 3 years instead of expected 10-15. Bosch would not accept it was an issue and insisted on payment for a new seal that did not arrive due to incorrect house number that courier insists was entered by Bosch. I will be reluctant to buy B again.

Bought a brand new toaster and kettle two days ago. The kettle works fine but, the toaster is an absolute joke. Just on one setting will either burn part of the bread or do nothing (any setting) . Don't buy a bosch toaster just expensive junk.
