Absolutely terrible experience. We paid extra for Bosch appliances when we got out kitchen as we thought the brand name would live up to its reputation. It has only been 6 months and the fridge has already gone faulty. Our fridge hasn’t been working for the last 5 days and an engineer came around today to fix the problem. It still hasn’t been fixed and the next available booking is 6 days away. This is unacceptable. I will never buy Bosch again. Stick to Neff or AEG.

Washing machine broke down after 18 months from brand new despite regular recommended maintenance. Several electrical glitches. Not good enough from a £400 product.
Avoid Bosch as they are clearly lowering their bottom line by reducing building quality.

Bosch quality and customer service is terrible and not as good as it used to be. My expensive Bosch kettle stopped working after just over two years and the person I spook to at Bosch was very unhelpful but finally she give me free return and free repair or replacement, but nothing happened. I phoned again and the person who I spoke to did not believe me and seem surprised that I expected the kettle to last longer than two years, but he would check the calls!!
I later received an email saying return would be free but I would have to pay to repair it!! I have bought a cheaper kettle with a five year guarantee and will never buy Bosch products again. I wish that I had looked at other people reviews before I bought the kettle.
p.s. The person at Bosch said that he never looks at reviews - I suggest that they do.

Don’t purchase the lawnmower 37-570 what a croc of ****! We have previously have Bosh lawnmowers but this is very very cheaply made plastic is very flimsy! Whilst putting the clamping lever on the screw has come out of his plastic housing i need a replacement part sending FOC and ASAP!
Well... where to start!
I ordered an integrated dishwasher online with Bosch direct. Payment taken and advised a courier would be in touch. Automated email from DX (Courier) stating our "agreed date of delivery was no longer available and that they would be in touch". We had never agreed a date.
A week later and numerous attempts to connect with DX, proved fruitless. I then contacted Bosch to see if they could assist, as it had been passed to their partner, they could not do anything and advised just to wait.
After 2 weeks from order, with no communication from anyone, we received a call from our local courier (M&H who were appointed DX) that they would deliver our item. Delivered next day, damaged. Phoned Bosch, they issued a replacement.... same process as above, 2 weeks later we received the replacement... looked exactly like the first damaged one, only with more damage. Phoned Customer Service, offered 15% discount for us to keep machine! Suffice to say it is on its way back to Bosch (via M&H and DX) and we should receive a full refund.
Clearly an issue with their couriers, which is allegedly currently being addressed and will hopefully improve future customer experience.
I will never use them again and would not recommend this company to anyone wishing for a seamless purchase with good customer service.

Bosch has the worst customer service ever! They ask you to join their newsletter but never sends the code for 10% discount. Contacted them through all medium of communication and no one is helpful. Their website is so bad that it keeps redirecting to the same place. I can keep going. Literally everything is wrong!
This is the email i sent to BOSH with my experience outlined clearly:
Dear Customer Service,
I am writing to formally complain about the handling of Order 2111209340 and to request its immediate cancellation, a full refund, and appropriate compensation for the significant inconvenience and distress caused.
I placed this order on 12 May 2026 and was advised that delivery would take 3–5 working days. Nearly a month later, I am still without the washing machine I paid for.
The first delivery date I was given was 18 May. I remained at home for the entire delivery window, but no delivery was made and no explanation was provided. Following numerous calls and emails, Bosch eventually informed me that despite having evidence that the appliance had been dispatched and handed over to Product Care, the delivery company claimed they had never received it.
At that stage, Bosch offered to send a replacement appliance. Although I had already experienced weeks of delays and frustration, I chose not to cancel because I genuinely felt Bosch was trying to resolve the issue. I was also promised £50 worth of cleaning products once I received the appliance, which I appreciated as a gesture of goodwill.
Unfortunately, the problems continued.
On 5 June I was given another delivery slot and waited at home for over three hours. When I contacted Bosch after the delivery window had passed, I was told the delivery team was "two minutes away." Forty-five minutes later, after calling again, I was informed that the driver had actually been off sick all day and that no delivery was taking place.
I was then promised that the appliance would be delivered no later than 8 June. That promise was not honoured. Instead, I later received an email advising me to book yet another delivery slot, with the earliest available date being 11 June.
At this point, the issue is no longer a simple delivery delay. I have been given inaccurate information, repeated assurances that have not been kept, and multiple delivery commitments that have failed.
The impact on my family has been considerable. We are a household of six with four children and have now been without a washing machine for almost a month. We have been relying on family and friends to wash clothes and bedding for us, repeatedly asking for favours that we never expected would be needed for this length of time. Managing the laundry needs of a family our size without a washing machine has been extremely difficult and has caused significant disruption to our daily lives.
In addition, I have spent countless hours making phone calls, sending emails, chasing updates, and waiting at home for deliveries that never arrived. This has caused substantial frustration, inconvenience, and unnecessary stress.
Given the repeated failures and the impact this situation has had, I have now lost confidence in the delivery process and no longer wish to continue with this order.
Accordingly, I request:
• Immediate cancellation of Order 2111209340 and a full refund.
• Meaningful compensation reflecting the repeated delivery failures, misinformation, wasted time, broken promises, and the significant inconvenience caused to my family over the past month.
I believe Bosch has had ample opportunity to resolve this matter and am extremely disappointed that it has reached this stage.
Please treat this as a formal complaint and confirm within five working days that a refund has been processed, together with details of the compensation being offered.
Yours faithfully,

This is relating to the so called cash back scheme
What a scam this is
To date i have done 5 claims which i was told on 3 occasions they were accepted then to receive the rejection email with no reason why
24 emails requesting help by email
14 emails requesting just a phone call from them to discuss why they are not paying the claim
It’s clear they had no intent to pay this out
So disappointed with Bosch totally let down i will never use this brand again

Bosch are real scammers. We bought a Bosch Accent Line microwave in 2025 and were asked to review it for cashback. The amount depended on how positive the review was.
After that, we started having recurring issues with the microwave. It’s absolute garbage wrapped in a pretty Bosch coating.
The worst part is that once the incentivized review was submitted, there was no way to change or update it after the problems started showing up.
Never touching a Bosch product ever again.

Bought a Bosch extractor fan which appeared to have a fault when fitted. Contacted their customer service which developed into a farce. I was told to ring a different number three times, each time I had to wait at least 10 minutes before being answered. The forth number I was given I was assured was correct but, when dialled, came up with a message stating it was not in use! I gave up.
I have four Bosch appliances but will not be buying anymore as their customer service is non existent.
Bosch 36V Hedge Trimmer. The appliance itself was pretty good. Heavy duty and reliable. 9 years after purchase it failed, which is OK.
The repair service and trying to interact with Bosch about it is appalling. I can't be bothered to list it all, other reviews have said the same things.
Courier collection service is full of errors, gives a 12 hour collection window, and repeatedly didn't turn up. At the first attempt the repair people repaired one fault (wouldn't start) but ignored another (broken switch) and claimed to have returned it "in full working order". At the second attempt repair people clearly didn't read my description of the fault and sent it back unrepaired "no fault found". Around 20 ignored emails and over an hour spent on hold later it is still not fixed. At a few points it has looked like I was making progress, speaking to someone sensible, but they would hand a task back to me (e.g. send them a video of the fault) and then I would be hurled back into the void.
I can find no way to expose this performance to someone senior in the company with enough of a sense of shame to do something about it.
Bosch series 6 washing machine. Planned obsolesence at its finest! A simple bearing repair now requires a complete tub replacment. Bosch has bonded the tub halfs together wich is an engineered barrier to repair. A new tub costs more than a new BEKO machine.
@ Consumers, If you want a machine that lasts, Buy 2 BEKOs and have change left over.
@ Bosch engineers, do the right thing, go back to repairable machines, keep your products out of landfil. Stop marketing cheap bonded tub machines as a premium product!
Reply from Bosch representative.
"The sealed tub is engineered to enhance performance by reducing vibration and noise, improving stability, and ensuring water tightness for the life of the unit."
My reply...
Reducing vibration, noise, and water tightness may slightly improve operating conditions of a machine, but it does not eliminate the fundamental wear mechanism of the bearings. Bearings in a washing machine spin at high speeds under significant loads and are subject to fatigue, friction, lubricant degradation, and material wear. Over time, bearing failure is inevitable; the only question is how long it takes. A sealed tub prevents straightforward bearing replacement when wear eventually occurs. A bearing is a consumable part! Therefore, the sealed design does not remove the need for bearing maintenance—it simply makes bearing failure a prohibitively more expensive repair when it happens. The "life of the machine" is shortened by design, planned obsolescence. The real benefit is cost cutting at manufacture - a cheap machine at a premium price!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I wanted to share my experience with Bosch products. I recently bought a Bosch fridge freezer, and it’s been unbelievably noisy—ridiculously so. It’s not just a faint hum; I can hear it in four different rooms of my house. It’s really irritating. After just a few weeks, one of the door shelves broke—I used it to keep bottles in. Also, the outside of the door arrived with dents, because it’s so flimsy—it’s absolutely incredible.
On top of that, about a year ago, I purchased a Bosch battery lawnmower—a larger, more powerful model. It worked well at first, but after some time, it broke down. While still under warranty, I contacted Bosch. Although they arranged the pickup, I was really frustrated that I had to supply a huge box myself—one that would have cost nearly £30. Thankfully, my car mechanic friend had a spare one, but Bosch really should supply a box for large lawnmowers. Overall, these two experiences left me very underwhelmed, and I won’t be buying from Bosch again.

I bought a Bosch dishwasher two years and two weeks ago. It stopped working showing an error code. I found my receipt and found that the guarantee had expired two weeks before. I called Bosch and explained the situation in the full expectation that I would be charged to get it repaired. Instead I was told that they would honour the guarantee and that the repair would be done the next day. The engineer turned up first thing this morning and fixed the fault. I’m seriously impressed by the integrity and efficiency of their customer service

was informed on the webpage that it would come in 2-3 days. the beaters came, not the beaker.
Since it took longer, i wrote to them.
I would have ordered from somewhere else.
As such there is no reason I should have to pay return costs. But they still asked me to !!
The transaction was made under false impressions, it is not my responsibility to pay for it
The customer service is a scam. By law they have to provide "customer service" and "maintenance" due to the guranatee they give but when you actually need them they just send you a booking confirmation and then the day before the maintenance works are scheduled they cancel and post pone it. Like this I had to wait more than three weeks for a simple washing machine repair (which is new and 100% under guarantee). They just speculate that you call a private plumber and pay him becuase the lead time they give you is just too long. It's an absolut scam and we as consumers are completely powerless. I don't recoomnd buying from this scammers.

Bought a new dishwasher from Curry’s just under £600 disappointed that you do not get a salt funnel with it. A simple thing goes a long way.

Bosch refusing to repair my ebike motor that has had only around 2500 miles in it before suddenly catastrophic failure, I have diagnosed adhd and rely on it to get to and from work on time.
They also haven't replied to my email after two whole weeks of waiting.
Abysmal customer service, I will be avoiding any bosch products going forward if this is how they treat customers
edit: increasing from 1 star to 3 stars, they have now after speaking to them again sent a motor replacement.
Drier section faulty again , first repair didn’t last a year, initial visit and diagnosis was good , so part ordered with a 2 week wait , 2nd visit revealed that 1st guy had not ordered complete parts to finish job, now a 3 week wait for additional parts , eventually after 5 weeks with no drier final guy came and sorted it , he was very pleasant and informative, but you can’t disguise initial mistakes and subsequent long delays.
