The only reason I have to use this bank…

The only reason I have to use this bank is to make deposits for my rent and to do that literally takes an hour its crazy how the workers sit and walk around with 30 people standing and waiting in the lobby I wouldn't suggest this bank to anyone

They are horrible

They are horrible, there is people working and they ignore u, better off not having anyone work there and make everything electronic. They are rude and ignorant.

These people are complete fools

These people are complete fools. I would type for an hour and still not cover all the things they have done to fuc|< up even the simple things. Today is typical. The bank decided that a €9 payment to Baselang, a Spanish tutoring service I have used for more than a year, is "fraud". And when I tried to call and clarify the matter, all these a$$holes did was stonewall me. Fuc|< all of them. I am so tired of being disrespected by this stupid bank and having them complicate my life. Many hours wasted trying to close the account for my former company too. They are simply foolk. I despise them.

Terrible me service

Terrible service, expenicve, zero professionalism, avoid or al cost.
Today I have to pay taxes, and all at I'm getting. Message this service conta be use now plese try later, timoro I will be chsrded with interest by state.

BPI Funchal Visit

I had to deal with Bpi bank Funchal and what a fabulous experience compared to my Algarve branch. Extremely helpful staff who went way and beyond to help me out. It was really was a 5 star customer experience……thank you and perhaps you could educate the staff at Bpi Portimao on how customers should be treated!

After sending many emails to bpi in…

After sending many emails to bpi in order to get the otp done on the new mobile number...no answers and no solution. The mobile number is a belgium number and already communicated. Verification is not working for the Belgian number. As a result the bpi account which we use when we go back to cebu for holiday and family visit ...cannot be used to check balance after sending money from belgium to this account. Nobody at bpi is taking responsibility to solve out problem.

Good personal service

Good personal service and a physical contact person instead of a computer. I got - as an EU resident - very quick a new bank account and explanation. Also in English. The person also installed the BPI app on my phone and made it work. That's service!

Very unfriendly people at the Mortagua branch

I have been banking with this bank in Portugal since 2014, 10 years now. My branch is Mortagua. Every time I have to go to the bank, I feel like an imposter. I am handled with no respect. Previously there was a wonderful lady that worked there and that helped me with everything. Our insurances and everything was handled through the bank, but now we have to close our account, look for new insurances, etc.

Avoid

Avoid. Service with a level lower than a third class restaurant. If I knew what I know today I would never contract with them. People not trained to service clients, red tape every step and communication skills non existing.

The refused to give me a bank account

The refused to give me a bank account, even though under EU law I am apparently entitled to one. They said they needed to know the "source" of the payments, but refused to elaborate on what they meant, claiming I had not provided the information I needed, even though I had to the best of my understanding of "source".
