I ordered a Breville Max coffee machine from Amazon. There is no upper burr so I can't use the item. The upper burr is an integral part because it grinds the coffee beans. I contacted Breville and the... See more

Breville awful company and worse customer service
DO NOT BUY from this company! I have a £400 breville barista max machine, that the 50p silicone gasket that seals the water tank to the machine has split making water run straight out of the tank. In the instructions it says call customer service to order replacement parts. I had the unpleasant experience of talking to Jacob who was bordering on rude and his only statement was that breville do not sell spare gaskets for their machines. That in itself is ridiculous to throw away a £400 machine for a 50p gasket which must be one of the common issues as it is stretched every time the machine is filled with water is quite frankly the sign of a company that does not care about its customers.
Disgraceful company.
Disgraceful company.
Bought Barista max pro from currys,I voiced my concerns abut this product with no solution from the shop and then again with breville, the Machine worked sufficiently for about 6 months and again i reached out to both breville and currys about the machine not being fit for purpose the burrs were now not working and machine was 2months out of warranty .Now i have a machine that cost 550 euro and broken grinder

Sorry Breville u shot yourself in the foot here.
DANGEROUS TO USE!
The breville one cup has given me an ELECTRIC SHOCK!!!
I previously phoned breville to complain that after 10 months use this machine occasionally has an electrical buzzing noise. The man I spoke to told me to video it happening!
Ludicrous I thought. Used it twice more and when I pressed the button to heat the water I received a hek of an ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Useless blender
Hot cup 2 failed inside 12 months…
Hot cup 2 failed inside 12 months contacted breville and told me to go to retailer won't be buying breville again
Breville Hot cup DONT BUY
Hot cup
DO NOT BUY
Bought two and both failed because of a 50pence spring which Breville won’t recognise or provide parts or a solution, we have bought two of these machines both failed the same way so unless you only want one for 12 months DONT BUY FROM BREVILLE yet again corporate profit over customer satisfaction shame on you Breville
All I want is a toaster that works.
What is wrong with these companies, We decided on a 4 slice toaster at the beginning of the year so bought a Delonghi toaster in January, had to take it back to Argos in March as it had ceased to work so plumped for a Breville. Took the Breville back today {26th May} as that too packed in this morning and swopped it for a Russell Hobbs.
According to the Russell Hobbs reviews it won't be long before I'm back down to Argos with this one.
BREVILLE IRONS
REVILLE IRONS - Terrible product and even worse…
★☆☆☆☆ Terrible product and even worse customer service – AVOID Breville!
Bought a Breville iron thinking I was investing in a reliable brand – big mistake. After just 5 months of light use, water started leaking straight out of the bottom of the iron, making it completely unusable. Not only is this unacceptable for a supposedly quality product, but it’s also a safety hazard.
Tried to contact Breville for a replacement and was met with zero help and terrible customer service. They flat-out refused to provide a replacement or even acknowledge the issue. It’s clear they don’t stand behind their products or care about their customers once they’ve taken your money.
Absolutely disappointed – I’ll never buy from Breville again and will warn others to stay far away. Save your money and choose a brand that actually supports its customers when things go wrong
Breville = Built in Obsolescence
I bought a Breville Kettle which ceased to function just 20 days after the 1 year warranty ran out. This shameful and wasteful manufacturing procedure is called built in obsolescence. Breville do this in an effort to get you to go out and spend your hard earned cash on another Breville product. But all they are doing is ensuring that savvy consumers will never buy anything with the name Breville on it again as long as they live.
Don't ever buy any products from Breville as you will just be taken for a ride. Breville have no respect for their consumers, and no respect for the Earth. jmb
NO REPAIRS - AVOID
I’ve had a Breville coffee machine for almost two years now. It cost me over £500, but now it’s leaking from the group head. I contacted Breville to arrange a repair, but I was shocked to discover that they don’t have any repair options. Instead, they offered me a 30% discount on a new unit. Needless to say, I will never buy from this brand again and strongly advise everyone else to avoid this company.
BEWARE HOT WATER NOT RELIABLE
I bought a breville hot water dispenser VKT124 is just over 2yrs old and it does not dispense the full amount of water as it did when new.
I have fully descaled and cleaned it with no success.
Not the quality I would expect from Breville.
Absolutely terrible company
Absolutely terrible company, I ordered a pram set in chocolate and received grey.ot was so flimsy and not suitable for a newborn baby at all.
Took two months for it to be collected and for my money back.
I really would never order anything from here again and will not be recommending to others
Single cup water heater
Contacted customer service about single cup water boiler not switching off and overflowing raising a serious scald risk. After several emails finally suggested l return the item to be examined and said it could take up to 30 days. No good to me , what do l do without it , oh yes , buy another kettle ....disgusting service . More of a dangerous occurrence than a malfunction in my opinion.
Don't buy from breville they will just…
Don't buy from breville they will just try and pass the buck too amazon then amazon will do the same shocking customer service
Breville Forces You to Buy a New £60 Kettle for the Sake of a Tiny Button!
We really like using our Breville HotCup VKJ318 - it was a great product, and as someone with disabilities, it made life much easier. But when the start button wore out (a small, detachable plastic piece), I discovered something shocking: Breville doesn’t sell spare parts for it.
Instead of offering a simple replacement for a part that is clearly designed to be removable, they told me my only option was to buy a whole new unit - for around £60! Their "gesture of goodwill"? A £10 discount - even though I could buy a new one elsewhere for £55.
Breville made me think they were going to help - by asking for photos, proof of purchase, and even my shipping address - only to turn around and say ‘Sorry, out of warranty, buy a new one.’ Why waste my time if they had no intention of fixing the issue? Just another company that would rather force you to buy new than offer simple, cheap spare parts."
To make things even more frustrating, the button is clearly designed to be replaced - it has a guide piece to align it and slots where it fits in perfectly. But instead of selling a simple spare part, Breville forces you to replace the whole machine. Why manufacture it this way if they won’t support repairs?"
I reached out to Breville’s CEO, Jim Clayton, hoping for a reasonable solution, but the company flat-out refused to do anything. It’s disappointing that a brand this big is actively encouraging waste, environmental harm, and unnecessary spending rather than providing basic, affordable spare parts.
If you're considering buying a Breville product, be aware: when a tiny part breaks, they expect you to throw the whole thing away and buy another.
Avoid them if you care about customer service, sustainability, or basic fairness.
Bought 2 Breville black toaster in 6…
Bought 2 Breville black toaster in 6 months , last one has lasted 1 month and has broken won’t be buying a 3rd one
Bought a breville active early Dec 24
Bought a breville active early Dec 24, reason for getting this one was, it states you can use frozen fruit, ice. Have used it a few times and a piece of fruit got stuck under the blade and caused the motor that makes it turn to fall apart, when I took the top part off all the black turn wheel thing flew out, tried to attach a photo but won’t let me
CANNOT FAULT THIS COMPANY
Cannot fault Breville dealing with my problem, OK the item broke but the way it was dealt with was fantastic.
Firstly how often do you get to speak to a customer services representative? Virtually never these days, what a surprise to find the phone answered by a person! I sent two images and a replacement was on its way the same day. THANK YOU BREVILLE
Purchased three Breville toasters in…
Purchased three Breville toasters in last 5 years. all broken with different issues. Hugely disappointing the customer service feedback received. Also our Breville pancake maker stopped working after 2.5 years. I will never buy a breville product again in my life. expensive product and not good.
