Amazing great to borrow then return especially if like me not much space to display lots of lego so brick borrow is fantastic

The lego kit arrived quickly and all the pieces were there. It was a fun build to do.

So grateful to come across brick borrow. What an amazing company you are.
I’ve spent an absolute fortune on Lego for my son and to come across you and for my son to get so many opportunities to borrow build and send back is just amazing.

I love building Lego but don’t have the space or money to be able to keep getting new sets, Brickborrow allows me all the fun of the building without breaking the bank. There’s a great selection of sets to choose from and the process to return is quick and easy so I get to pick a new set in no time!

I was really looking forward to borrowing some Lego sets and reliving a bit of childhood nostalgia. The website initially gives the impression that there’s a huge range of sets available to borrow. However, you can only see what’s currently in stock after registering and committing to a paid subscription. In my opinion, that feels misleading — if availability were visible upfront, I suspect many people might think twice before signing up.
Although the library is extensive, the vast majority of sets appear to be out on loan most of the time. For example, out of 66 Star Wars sets, only six were available — and most of those weren’t particularly appealing. The same situation applied to the Harry Potter range. I checked multiple times over several days.
I considered borrowing a set I wasn’t especially interested in just to make use of the subscription. However, if a set I really wanted became available, I’d need to return the one I was building. By the time that return was processed, the set I wanted would likely already be gone.
Realistically, the only option would be to constantly monitor the website and hope to catch a set at the right moment. Other reviewers have mentioned that even when alerts come through, the sets are often snapped up immediately. Meanwhile, the subscription fee continues to be charged, and you’re left waiting with nothing to build.
Another frustration is the £5 fee per set borrowed, which isn’t clearly highlighted during sign-up. While it is mentioned in the FAQs, it feels somewhat buried rather than transparently presented upfront.
I will say my email was responded to quickly.
Overall, I’m extremely disappointed. I’ve seen responses from Brick Borrow suggesting that borrowing patterns “stabilise over time,” so perhaps I’ll reconsider in the future. For now, however, it doesn’t feel worthwhile paying £15 a month to repeatedly check a website that rarely has the sets I want available.

Me and my son have had a blast using BrickBorrow. It has become a Saturday tradition for us to build a BrickBorrow set! I can’t fault the customer service either, extremely fast response times and always happy to resolve any issues! Definitely recommend 😊

I emailed the Customer Service team to upgrade from the Builder to the Master plan as my daughter had seen how much her brother was enjoying his borrowing, I received replies so quickly from Mandy, she was so helpful and polite, it was sorted within half an hour and now have 2 brick borrow on the way to my two children :-) thanks Mandy!!

What an amazing idea Brick Borrow is. I have re-discovered Lego at the age of 55 but don't have the room or money for all the sets I'd like to build. Brick Borrow has solved this problem, plus I also enjoy taking Lego models apart again piece by piece!
Quick delivery and easy to follow instructions.
Highly recommend.

Brick Borrow is such a fantastic service. The turnaround time is really quick, which suits me perfectly as a fast builder who likes to swap sets as soon as I’m ready. Being able to exchange whenever I want makes the whole experience feel flexible and effortless.
I love the concept behind it. Living in a small apartment means storage space is limited, so being able to enjoy LEGO without having to keep piles of boxes or completed builds is amazing. It lets me keep the hobby without the clutter.
The value for money is excellent too. The sets you receive are worth far more than the monthly subscription, and the whole process is made so simple and stress-free by Brick Borrow.
The referral scheme is a great added perk, giving free shipping for both you and the person you refer. Overall, it’s just a really well thought-out service and such a clever idea. I’d happily recommend Brick Borrow to anyone who loves LEGO but doesn’t have the space to store it.

Brick Borrow is a brilliant idea. I’m a massive Lego lover but some sets I wouldn’t collect or buy myself but would love to build. So brick borrow gives me that opportunity. Thankyou BB

So far I am really happy with Brick Borrow! I love lego but hate the cost and don't have space to store all the ones I want to build so this is PERFECT! I get to build amazing sets and destroy them when I'm ready to send them back. It's great. I have only recently joined and built one set but ready to break it down and return it so I can order another one! Will update more when I have had a few sets too.

I’m enjoying the experience so far although have been slightly disappointed that many of the sets advertised are in such high demand that they never seem to be available to borrow. This unavailability is only apparent after purchasing a plan and then browsing sets to borrow. I’ve still enjoyed the experience however, and customer support are always very quick to respond on the odd occasion that sets arrive with missing pieces.

First time borrowing and building Lego from Brick Borrow. Very positive experience. Brought all the family together. Sign up was easy. Delivery was swift and the set was brand new. Looking forward to our next build.

They have a massive selection, website is easy to use, price plans are clear.
Always easy to get in touch if they're are any issues which are resolved quickly.
If there are any missing bits. Which is rare but happens they will source a replacement and send it to you with no further expense
I recommend sorting trays as the sets arrive in a single big bag. Unless it's a first build then it comes as it would from lego. But you also send it back in a single bag, where other lending sites want you to reverse bag
You can expect to get 2 maybe 3 build a month if your quick enough. Package turnaround can take from 3 days. Post office to picking a new set. You can even get royal mail to collect from your house to send it back rather than going to the shop.
I have been a subscriber more than 2 years and have had more than 20 sets. with 3 of those being first builds. You do struggle to get the more popular sets. Much like any library, But they do have multiples of the same ones. To try and mitigate.

Really enjoy being able to make Lego without the huge cost of Lego and the hassle of storing or selling built sets. I’ve had a membership for a month and have already built £400 worth of Lego. A great idea and really good service.
