Do not buy from this company!

I ordered a crocus pot for my dying cousin. I could not find any blooming crocuses locally. The picture of the pot was beautiful. What she received was a 4 inch tall pot with white crocuses & 2 purple ones which promptly bloomed & died. I can't believe I paid $59 for it! It was totally embarassing...that tiny pot alongside all of the other beautiful flowers she received. And I ordered them because crocuses are her favorite flower!
NEVER AGAIN!!!

Our original order was over $500.00

Our original order was over $500.00. 3 Italian Cypress and 2 crêpe myrtles. The crepe myrtles came and we’re basically dead. I reached out and they sent a replacement for 1. It was enormous compared to the other one, which was very frustrating. Had I not complained I would’ve had tiny dead trees. The replacement & the other we planted are dead. No leaves, nothing. We followed all instructions and I believe we wasted $500.00. I will not use them again and I do not recommend them.

Very nice, healthy trees.

I just received my order of 2 hybrid dogwood trees. For some reason,
FedEx decided to keep them for an extra day but they arrived in great condition -- undoubtedly because they were so well packaged. Since I'm still undecided on where I'm going to plant them I decided to re-pot them for now. That way I can keep them close to a water source and care for them better until I put them in the ground.
These are healthy, robust trees so I'm confident they're going to thrive.

Don’t buy from HERE EVER

The plants that they show online for sale and describe, and the plants they deliver are not the same.
You’re better off buying from your local nursery.
Brought 3 plants and they delivered small plants instead of what was shown online.
My first purchase was $199.00 and second for $151.00. Total rip off.
Felt cheated for $350.00.
DONT BUY FROM HERE.

Never again ——Update

9/26-22 - As I mentioned, this is an update on my review: I received an email stating that they are replacing the plant.

Received my plant with a lot of brown leaves. Since I bought a warranty, I decided to use it. First they said they couldn’t locate my account, so I forwarded to them their email to me and also sent them pictures. Then they asked too many question like it was my fault. Decided it’s not worth my time to go back and forth with them so I told them to forget all about. I’ll update my review once I hear from them again

Don’t bother buying here

Don’t bother buying here. The people are pleasant but they don’t really help. They sent me a dead plant and kept asking me to water it. I have been gardening for a long time and it’s very very dead. I can’t seem to get a refund even with their guarantee. The other plant I ordered never came and they told me without me knowing that it was back ordered for … they didn’t know. Had I not called, they would also not have given me a refund on that plant. Very unreliable company.

Don’t buy from here

Don’t buy from here, I brought a wonderful pomegranate tree 2 years back from brighterblooms and that was not even grafted. I spent $115 on that. Later that year I saw the same wonderful pomegranate tree in home depot for $28 and bought that. I noticed that the tree from Home Depot was grafted. While my Home Depot tree gave me a few fruits and grew vigorously in an year, the two year old very expensive tree from brighter blooms is very very stunted and didn’t give me any fruits. This year I’m going to take it out and replace it with another tree from Home Depot. Lessons learnt - buy local.

Received a Crimson Maple from Brighter…

Received a Crimson Maple from Brighter Blooms Nursery, for our 50th Anniversary from our Daughter, nothing but a twig, called this place -sent a picture of the twig, and they do not stand behind it, daughter even took out the Warranty Insurance, paid around $200. for this lost cause and now she is out the money.
This is a scam, they send you a twig that is dead--do not order from here -shop locally - you are better off. This Website should be investigated.

Don't believe the reviews on this…

Don't believe the reviews on this company's website. They don't accept any bad reviews and post them. I had a Vesuvius plum and it arrived without any branches and died within a month.

Ordered two matching perfume breeze…

Ordered two matching perfume breeze trees. Very sad looking upon arrival but was able to nurse them back to life. Once it began to bloom, I noticed one of the trees is NOT what I ordered. Customer service offered refund but can’t help get the one I ordered. Not happy

They delivered first pomegranate tree…

They delivered first pomegranate tree and it looked so dead I didn't think it would come out of its dormant stage. So I called and they sent replacement immediately. Still looked dead but when breaking a branch off it was green ..a month later sprouted leaves and is doing good. Great company. Thankslp

Wish I could give zero stars

It's difficult to imagine how I could be less satisfied.

Ordered two young trees and, right out of the box, they looked like they were on the verge of dying; decided to plant them and hope for the best. Planted them in accordance with the instructions provided... cared for them and waited.

Forget it -- my first instinct was correct... that was around $150 entirely wasted.

The company's website says that if you're not happy, then "give us a call." But of course there's no phone number that I can find on the website. Wouldn't matter -- my guess is that speaking to anyone there would be fruitless (pun intended).

This was my first experience with buying live plants through mail-order... will shop locally from now on.

Cherry blossom tree a bust

Bought a cherry blossom tree from Brighter Blooms. Paid more for a 5 foot tree. Had my gardener plant it. Wasted my money on it. It’s dead - hasn’t any buds on branches. Having it removed and buying healthier cherry blossom tree from local nursery. It’s true. You get what you pay for. Was trying to save money and it blew to the wind with a dead tree. Won’t buy through mail anymore. Was extremely disappointed! Will pay more and get locally

DO NOT SHOP!!!!

Paid $170 for a hydrangea tree which arrived half dead, broken branches and very brittle). Customer service offered a 25% refund (even though it’s now 15% off so really a 10% refund). Save your money and shop a local nursery, this place is a scam!

If only I could leave 0 stars...

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I placed a $200 order, received my plants which were super sick, nearly dead, riddled with spider mites and powdery mildew, and they offered to send a replacement order, which I accepted (now I realize that was a mistake) the replacement order came, AND THEY WERE IN EVEN WORSE CONDITION. I reached back out, and all they had to say was "we will send you another order" so at this point, they offered to send me a 3rd order just to get me to go away. Then a few days later some other person reached out saying they in fact cannot replace my order (which was fine, I did not want more diseased plants) but they wanted to offer me a 15% discount. I was told one thing, and then later told they cannot hold up to their word. Are you kidding me?!?! 15% for numerous hours of my time attempting to nurse these plants back to health and rid them of pests and fungus? LIKE, WHAT?!?! I declined that offer because of how disrespectful it was. Oh, and to top it off, 2 weeks after the first order arrived I found powdery white mildew and spider mites on ALL my plants in other parts of my house. So, now I am having to treat nearly dozens and dozens of house plants because this company sent me sick and diseased plants with pests. At the end of the day, I accepted a 25% refund and a bunch of negative reviews. Which, apparently, there were already a lot of, so I should have done a little more research before placing an order. This company is a joke, they will lie to you and just want you to go away, their plants are an even bigger joke which is incredibly sad, please do yourself a favor and stay far far away.

Poor value for your money - look elsewhere!

The puny potted indoor palm arrived with only half the potting soil needed to cover the root ball. Also, 1 of the only 13 flimsy fronds was dead. I spent over $100 for this plant and purchased their 1 year guarantee on top of that, but when I reported these problems, all they offered as help was a puny 10 percent discount that matches the puniness of the plant, since it does not pay for the extra soil I'll have to buy or my extra time having to do it. VERY poor value for your money, and very sloppy service! There are other much better online nurseries, and I advise you use them.

There shipping kills them

Save your money. My 3 very expensive trees arrived almost dead and almost no leaves left. Customer service says give it a while for them to recover. Well 2 died and one has about 6 leaves a year later. The way they ship them they don't last long.
