Unprofessional engineer's behaviour ignored
This company couldn't give a toss about customer experience. They're also putting customers at risk by not addressing the unprofessional behaviour of some of their staff. I've asked for one of their engineers not be allowed to come back to my home after his first visit left me humiliated, confused and frightened. Sure enough, he was back a few weeks later. His manners and behaviour were even worse the second time. I felt threatened and unsafe in my own home. When I complaint for the second time, all I received from BSW was a late and sloppy apology by the customer experience main administrator. They said the engineer - who had been racist, rude and careless, (damaging my wall, leaving my floor dirty...) - had been banned from my house. They didn't say he had been retrained, upskilled or monitored, so that other tenants are not at the receiving hand of this sinister character. They did not consider any compensation for the distress and anxiety I went through at the thought of him coming back a third time, possibly uninvited (after all, he'd told me to "f... off"). Apparently, that's no worry to BSW Heating. Shameful.

This company tampered with my meter
This bogus company has employed shocking behaviour and I wont'be letting them into my house. It started when one of my neighbours had a boiler issue. Since they have repeated tampered with the communal gas letters in order to triggers a call out for repairs.This has happened every time the visit my neighbourhood. Disgusting behaviour that needs investigation!It never happened before with previous contractors. They also have been very aggressive in Insisting on multiple gas checks

Absolutely terrible service, no information is recorded, no contact when they rearrange an appointment at they end. I have written a formal complaint and received a response that the complaint has been received. I'm disappointed and quiet disgusted as I am a vulnerable adult.

Astonished at how rude the customer service is when ringing up. I spoke to a Lisa, who was really unhelpful and couldn't tell me when my appointment even was! I thought she was slurring her words at a point. Proper unimpressed at the low level of service!!! No issue with the engineers but need new staff asap.

One star too good for this appalling company, first have issues with then a few years ago where I lived now I have the further misfortune of experiencing their bad workmanship again in my new residence.
My problem started in 2023 still not resolved they just send out engineers who admit they do not know about the equipment they have installed. They misdiagnosed a problem I have been having with one radiator since 2023 today am Engineer turned up not asked for saying he had come to look at my valve. I told I had not requested a call out he said he had a job number. I asked him in to look at the radiator he undid the control on the left hand side said it was stuck I had to give him my Spray to loosen it he said it was ok. Two hours later I go out to find water all over my hallway floor, I called the emergency team another of their cowboys came out saying he was a Supervisor said he had to turn my heating off to drain the radiator I said NO I was a vulnerable person. He called his boss but didn’t give the true story, I spoke to her myself she agreed I was a vulnerable person and someone would be out in the morning to fix it and get my heating back on. The engineer refused to speak to her again. Then before he left he said I can’t order the part there is no internet here, there was internet, he said it’s a special part it won’t be here tomorrow! I asked how long he said no idea and just left.
The radiator is still leaking I have used all my towels up to stem the flow of water which should have stopped but hasn’t. Who know what is will be like in the morning! NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY THEY NEED CLOSING DOWN!

BSW Heating are a disgraceful organisation my household is vunerable they have been messing me about since November 2024 now I have been left with no heating/hot water its been poor communication with my landlord MTVH and BSW Heating there should be an investigation into their organisation I now have been forced to take legal action I recommed people should do the same

I contacted bsw on friday 31st jan as we have no heating or hot water we are a vunrable household also there is a 8week old baby. Was told some will be out in the evening no one came called back someone will be out saturday no one came then called back to say it will be sunday morning its now 14.14 on the 2nd off feb still no one and no one is answering there phones utter disgrace they have no customer service or care leaving us all weekend and iff the bouler need parts then qho nos how long we will have to wait
I discovered my central heating had…
I discovered my central heating had broken down on Friday the 31st January 2025. I rung at 8pm and spoke to one of BSW Heating out of hours team. I was asked as they usually ask about health conditions children or elderly people in the premises. I suffer from COPD and Asthma. Which can be exacerbated by cold conditions. I was told that all engineer call outs were fully booked and that I had to wait 24 hours. I rung on Saturday afternoon at 1pm just to check if there were any updates only to be told I was given the wrong information and that an engineer was booked to attend on Sunday the 2nd February 2025. Clearly when the question is asked if you have a health condition it is just a tick box. I am very upset and angry that I am having to wait so long for an engineer. It’s extremely cold outside so you can imagine what two days in a cold flat feels like. I will be writing emails this week one to my CEO of Lewisham Council and to BSW Heating. This really is not a company that gives customer service or satisfaction.

Absolutely disgusting! Left a family without heating and hot water for two weeks. Only to come ‘fix’ the boiler and turned up without the part they needed! When they did ‘fix’ it . It wasn’t even done properly, it’s broken down again within two weeks. Absolute sh!t show of a company I would be extremely embarrassed to work for this company. SHAME ON THEM! Avoid BSW if you can
My landlord used BSW for many years, I found the engineers quite good really when they could be bothered to show up to appointments that they made! Never in all my years have I come across such a poor company, it took them 8 months all told to replace my boiler, install a new one, connect everything etc, 14 missed appointments on there behalf, lots of engineers seem to suffer illness working for BSW. Some basic customer service training to the person(s) that answer the phones wouldn’t go a miss. I actually felt quite sorry for Orbit housing in the end as they had to pay me £0000’s in compensation due to these cowboys!
Blind and made vulnerable by BSW
I am blind and have been unable to pressurise my boiler for the past week. I can constantly smell gas and have been told that my boiler needs replacing.
Having been placed on an emergency call out list on 20th January for a visit within 24 hours, I'm still waiting.
I called BSW out of hours this evening to ask for an engineer to visit this evening, and I was told that my sight loss does not make me more vulnerable than someone with children under 5.
I still have no appointment and this is the contractor for my landlord Wealden District Council.
This company needs closing down immediately because it is putting people at risk and they simply don't care!

Not surprised to see the negative reviews of this company - I've not used their services. But it's clear they're not good people if their staff think it's appropriate or polite to disturb McDonald's customers breakfast by having a loud, 20-minute phone call on speaker, *on an iPad*, while holding a phone. Ignorant, selfish and rude.
