What away to run a company No notice of when they will call Do they expect everyone to stay at home just on the off chance they may turn up If they cannnot do the basic [letting people know time and date} makes you wounder what their work is like???
DID NOT KEEP APPT …
Had appointment today 1 to 5 for gas check. Moved things around in kitchen so it was easy to get to boiler,waited in all afternoon no one came,phoned office they checked & told me van broken down. Why wasn't i phoned ? Funny how its friday,had this before on friday afternoon appt.
No communication whatsoever
No communication whatsoever, have taken time off work on 3 separate occasions and engineers don’t show up. No notification and when you ring up at the close of day there is no explanation as to why they haven’t turned up. Let’s hope 4th time lucky 🍀
Shame, shame, shame
This morning an engineer came and disconnected my boiler because he says it's at risk. This is legally wrong as I have not received any notice let alone an indication of what could be done to resolve the problem, I will now call the police and file a report against this company. Hot water is the first necessity for a family and no one can afford to come and disconnect the boiler without first notifying them. They had to come to change the external tube and because the engineer didn't know how to do the job, they decided with the manager to detach my bouler, Shame, shame, shame
BSW Bloody Sh... Work!
3rd February, report leaking radiator to landlords. BSW attend, told to put tub under leak, he hasn't got the parts...... chase, chase, chase...... 9th April job still not done and no appointment date. What an absolute disgrace. BSW, you are the worst
surprise surprise
surprise surprise. Another boiler service missed. Happens every year without fail. As usual, zero communication. They wont be able to use the excuse that they turned up but got no answer as i live in a block of flats that has new entrance doors so when do call the flat, it goes through to your mobile phone so you can open the door and also shows on your app that someone has called. Will wait till they phone me to re book and see if they give me the usual bull.
Good riddance to a terrible company
I would like to give zero stars!! My HA landlord used this company for a number of years and have now cancelled the contract. Thank goodness!! BSW had an outstanding job, fitting a bathroom radiator. They came out many weeks ago to assess the damage & measure up etc. Weeks passed and I didn’t hear anything so called them. The way most of the reception staff spoke to me was appalling. It seems it took several weeks to order the radiator but I was informed BSW would honour their commitments despite the ending of their contract being imminent. The installation was finally booked for April 10th (after the date their contract was to end) but without being given a time slot for the work, I called them on 3rd April to sort it. I was met with a couldn’t care less, rude attitude and was told they weren’t coming & that I would just have to deal with the new contractors. Not always what you say, but how you say it. I’ve had numerous appointments over the years with BSW where they just didn’t turn up & then lied about it, suggesting at times they’d arrived but I wasn’t home. I could prove the lies as I have CCTV. Otherwise it was a broken down vehicle, stuck in traffic….. blah blah blah! They claimed to have serviced a boiler when they didn’t and after them not showing for 5 consecutive appointments my landlord acquired a small amount of compensation paid to me from BSW for wasting my time. Good riddance to a terrible company. I have to add, a couple of the actual boiler engineers however have been decent fellas. Smith & Byford have now taken over but I’ve seen unfavourable reviews for them too but we shall see. They are due to arrive by 1 PM today to begin the process for the above mentioned job - starting at the beginning again.
Worst heating and hot water company out there
Last year I had a guy come in thinking he knew the issue, fiddled about, caused water to go everywhere only to have to return and do it all again. Some time later they realise the boiler needs replacing. As I was taking the things from the cupboard the boiler was in, I noticed wet and mould everywhere. My things were ruined and they couldn’t care less! I’ve been emailing for months and they deny causing the issue. This cupboard has always been dry for 12 years until they came to my home.
Also, recently, a radiator has started to peel, leak and rust. A guy came a few weeks ago and haven’t heard anything although he said they’d be in touch. Not to mention the other issue I had with the engineer that came here so rude and intimidating that I had to ask him to leave.

YET AGAIN ON A FRIDAY THEY DID NOT TURN UP I PHONED THE ENGNEER ABOUT 2.30PM OR SO AND HE HAD TURNED HIS PHONE OFF THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE FITTING A SMALL RADIATOR INTO MY BAY WINDOW. I AM A DISABLED PENSIONER I PAID FOR £20 TO A GUY WHO MOVED THE HEAVY FURNITURE OUT OF THE WAY SO THEY COULD GET THE JOB DONE. WHAT EVER YOU DO DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Enough is enough now, yet again waiting for a no show. No phone call to apologise for not turning up so rang up only to be told, well he did try but you weren’t in. Fuming as yes l was as lve had not heat for over 2 weeks and you the bodge job team told me not asked when l was available when you’d be coming. I waited for my appointment to yet again as is usual with this outfit to not actually turn up to said booked appointment. Why make this no shows if that’s what you intend to do, not show up to repair. I hate this atrocious company and had nothing but problems since they’ve taken over contract from Liberty Gas in October. NHG housing, don’t care as they want to off load us to another housing group, so cheap and awful is what we get with any form of repairs now. I’m all out of strength and lm only pleased weathers improving so l am gonna leave it now till end of summer as l refuse to waste another day waiting in for these vile no show Cowboys. I give them minus 5 rating, absolutely disgusting firm.
Appealing company and service
I’d give them zero stars because that’s what they deserve. Absolutely appalling customer service, diabolical engineers with a useless supervisor. We’ve been having issues since October 2023. Had 8 cowboys out and the supervisor to take pictures of our boiler. Not one spent more than 2 mins here actually looking at the problem. Originally we had to tell them our soft water cylinder was leaking to which they claimed it wasn’t, then said it was, because it was! They all just looked at the boiler and said it was broken. No hot water, no heating, nothing. January 2024 they finally replaced the boiler, after so many calls, complaints and plenty of boiling kettles and saucepans to the point of we now have mould and condensation. It took 3 of them to do it. First thing they said when they arrived, put the kettle on love. Second thing they said was, the wrong boiler size had been ordered so need to get another!
Two weeks later the thermostat broke and the supervisor came out and said none of the engineers know how to work these new digital ones so they’ll replace it with the turning on and off one we had previously.
Waited in all day today. Three of us in the house because they always pull, couldn’t gain access rubbish, yet if they knocked on the door, they would get access. Once again, no one turned up or knocked saying they couldn’t get in when we rang up. Been sitting up the hall for two hours reading expecting this. Just called them and they said he came at 4pm but couldn’t get access. It’s 4.50pm right now, two hours I’ve been sitting up the hall reading, no one knocked.
They talk absolute rubbish. They are lazy, incompetent morons who should all be sacked.

BSW heating no show contractors
I don’t want to give 1 star but no other option.
BSW gave us an appointment for today Sat 02 March
8am-1pm. We have been let down again. Phoned BSW twice, first time we was told it could be anytime up till 5pm despite having the appointment up till 1pm. When I phoned them again I was told the report says the contractor couldn’t find a parking space so it’s marked as No Access. No one bothered to inform us he wouldn’t be coming. Further more NH heating dept sent us a letter informing us that if BSW couldn’t gain access to carry out the safety check then our Housing officer and a locksmith would attend to gain entry and we would be billed the costs. We have always allowed access and been available for safety checks it’s the contractors for BSW who have let us down.
There are parking restrictions in our area and companies don’t like paying for parking but why should tenants be blamed for drivers who can’t find a space or who don’t want to pay for parking. How many days are we supposed to wait in for no show contractors
Useless company
Came thinking they were going to drill holes in my wall to fit a wireless controller rather than replace the part with an actual part from Idea.
Had to refuse engineer the ability to do the job.

Absolute joke of a company we waited 24hrs for a boiler to be repaired, 5 mins before there deadline an engineer called and said we would have to wait as he's far away from us or wait till Monday and then just hung up the phone.

They bullied me to take an appointment the day before my dads funeral. They still did not show or phone. Now the manager rang to promise me they would turn up if I made the appointment on Saturday. Well suprise no show or call. That’s 4 times on trot this time . I hate them so much I miss work and go out my way to clear area for them and be in out of about say 20 visits booked I would say only 5 they have managed to keep. How long can I go on like this. Why does my housing association allow them to bring me down to tears with frustration

this company lacks communication, compassion for their customers circumstances and qualified engineers.
My air pump heating system that was installed by bsw broke down less than a year after installation. When i called to tell them i had no hot water or heating they said there wasn't an engineer in the area available for another week. I had to take what they gave me and expected an engineer on that day. On the morning of the appointment i received a call saying the engineer wouldn't be attending and they would try to come out as soon as they can (no further appointment given). Fortunately i was in during the afternoon when an engineer turned up. He is as furious with the lack of communication at the company office as i was. He had a look at the boiler but on questioning his skills he had no formal training in dealing with this type of boiler but had learnt over the years though what his seen. The office ensured me that only a supervisor was able to deal with my issue.
needless to say he did seem to fix the issue however less than 24hours later the same problem reoccurred so were back to square one waiting for a future appointment that may or may not happen let a lone fix the issue. I would avoid this company at all costs
