Appalling Service or lack of 🤬
Appalling service and what's worse is they don't give a damn that they are offering the worst service ever. Foul attitudes of admin staff when you call them. The housing association I'm with should be ashamed but then again I'm not surprised because our HA aren't much better either. Can't wait to move so we don't have to put up with these cowboys any longer. DO NOT use if you have a choice.

The absolute worst company I have ever had the misfortune of having to use and not through choice.
I feel sorry for the poor receptionist and people who we phone to moan at.
In almost all my appointments they have not even bothered to turn up, same as usual chased this morning to be told all ok, chased again at 11.30 as a 8-1 call out and they managed to get hold of engineer who conveniently said parts were unavailable even though I received email a week ago to book in as parts were now available wtaf.
This has been over 2 weeks since i had hot water, not that dramatic given some peoples problem but the customer service is a disgrace.....Management are worse than a disgrace, they never contact you back..

Turn the hot water off then don’t turn up for 4 appointments to fix the problem and left with no hot water for a week and a half! Still waiting for them to fix the problem!

BSW should be closed down. Missed 4 appointments for a gas safety check which now puts me in breach of my tenancy!!!!!!!
Some Management
Some Management, jellous of Engineer payments, especially after overtime.
They give you a Company van, and think it's state of the Art Rolls Royce. I was given fake fuel card when I first started working for them,so had to leave the van at the petrol station, to prevent fuel theft and walk home.
Most sites not well maintained, with tenants complaining that water leaks could take up to 3 Months to repair, with build up of mould on walls and ceilings.
Some Managers are just on the payroll, and have no clue of anything, when Engineers seek advice, they Never answer their phones. ( Help lines with no Help)
Some Management needs improving. The list can go on, but I think I've said enough. 🙄.
Useless company
Company didnt turn up the first appointment and then when they turn up for 2nd appointment they come without the heater they are ment to be fitting. Totally incompedent
How low can you go
This is the contract that Orbit Housing decides to use. Vulnerable child who also had severe asthma and a baby in property. Never meet the dead line to due the job on the 17/6/23. Spoke to customer services Eveline this morning who states they are not deemed as vulnerable. Asked to speak to a Manager told would get a call back and it’s now 16.44. Orbit raised a another job for 4 hour call back at 11.15am, they have not turned up. Rang to advise when will they be arriving Scott stated you have tried this on before you have to wait until tomorrow from 1.00pm. Hope you have your recordings because your going to need it. Discrimination against someone who is disabled and a minor how low can you get. Next stage, complaint, ombudsman and legal action. Obit you need to get rid of this company it’s a great injustice to your tenants.

If you value your families lives don’t use BSW. They did a yearly safety check saying the boiler was fine even though I had reported it was not. On the 5th call out it was revealed it had a gas leak among other things.
I don't know how this company is still in business!
I have had so many issues with BSW, including them previously not showing up to 8 gas safety checks, and then lying to my housing association saying that I missed the appointments. Resulting in me receiving a letter threatening a £1000 fine.
But this new review is based on the recent experience I have had trying to get 2 radiators fixed.
Each time I phoned them to report this they told me they would arrange a time and date and called back. This happened 4 times. No one ever called me back. It was only when I reported the issue to my housing association that anyone called me.
I then had an engineer come out (who was lovely and professional and I generally have no issues with any of engineer's themselves) and he said the radiators needed new parts and would get these ordered.
I then got a text from BSW saying parts had arrived and to phone them to arrange an appointment. Had the same issue again where they kept telling me someone would phone me back.
Eventually managed to get someone to come out. Only for him to come without the parts because he hadn't been told this was a revisit to fit parts (again, not the fault of the engineer), he believed he was coming out to look at the boiler.
I then got another text saying parts are available and to phone them, I phoned them today and again got told someone who phone me back. Again no one has phoned me.
This has been going on for months at this point. And we have had to deal with no radiator in the bedroom all throughout winter. This issue has also significantly contributed towards the mould in our property.
If a company has 400 reviews and 95% are 1 star (which I'm sure would be 0 if that was an option) that should be enough for Councils and Housing Associations to consider that maybe it's not a good company? They need to drop this BSW immediately, and maybe just spend a little bit more for a decent company.
People deserve to live in safe and comfortable homes and it's clear that BSW doesn't care about this.
Avoid this company
Terrible company. They are in charge of our building heating and we have issue regularly. No hot water everyday of the past week. No clear information about what's Happening. And this thing happen EVERY YEAR!
Worst company I ever dealt with
I am surprised the company is still trading given just how abysmal they are, honestly shameful. Unreliable. Unresponsive. Unprofessional. Uninterested. And unfortunately I have had to endure them on a number of occasions over a few years - so it’s not just a one-off bad experience - fortunately they have now lost that contract with Clarion so will never have to experience them again.
They can have the 1-star for the engineers that, when they turn up, have generally been helpful and friendly. Otherwise, zero-stars would be generous.
The WORST company I've ever had to deal with in my entire life...
I reported that the hot water taps in my apartment do not stay hot consistently as it should. It changes to cold and then back to hot intermittently.
Every time an appointment is booked for an engineer to come and investigate, they would never show up on the day resulting in me having to call customer service to get another appointment booked in, just for them to not show up again. It's become a cycle.
This has happened on 4 occasions and every single time, they are unable to advise as to why this keeps happening. It is extremely frustrating and utterly unacceptable.
The issue initially was only with the taps in my property (kitchen sink and 2x bathroom sinks). It is now affecting the main bathroom bath taps because they have allowed the situation to worsen and affect other areas that did not have an issue to begin with.
If I could give this company -1000 stars, I would. What a sorry and embarrassing case of a company. Absolutely no regard for your customers or for the reputation of your company for that matter.
No hot water or heating having a vulnerable child in the house
Having your heating and hot water switched off by an on call member of BSW 12th april around 2200.
Being told that the issue would be replaced urgently the next morning 13th April.
Knowing that I have just been discharged from hospital following emergency surgery on the 10th.
that I also have carers in the house looking after my 9year old terminally I’ll daughter on a breathing ventilator that requires the home to be warm the nursing staff to have access to hot water.
I call up weds the 13th I’m told all the parts are in and that they can not do the work until weds the 19th at the earliest and that’s with me ringing round different people just for answers.
I would understand if turning the heating and hot water off actually rectified the leak which is was meant to stop… but actually is no different and still leaking.!
This is absolutely disgusting.

SO171WU made appointment BSW forgot. Made another appointment, waited 6 weeks, lost half a day, no one turned up. Waited four hours appointment three turned up. Is it because we are H.A. tenants not M.Ps?

They sent bob the builder around to fix my boiler that has an F75 fault, he was here less than 2 mins and said its fixed but actually made it the boiler worse, I have had to do several resets for it to ignite or I have to put pressure in it for it to ignite, I am convinced they just try to temporarily fix it knowing it will break again so they can keep charging Optivo my landlord call out fees, complete cowboys
