Brilliant service very friendly and helpful

This is a new garage name with old owner, avoid at all costs. All the positive reviews are a lie.
Please do not buy from this garage, Google the owner.
We reported the original garage, legally nothing was done, it has now changed names several times, they continue to trade.
If you believe one review and want to save months of stress please read this one.

Whole process was smooth sailing. Chris knows his cars well and answered all my questions. I put a deposit down on a Saturday and requested the car be ready by Tuesday morning (cleaned and serviced). This didn't give him a lot of time to work with but he got it done and true to his word it was ready to be collected on Tuesday, no messing. Chris kept me updated with the progress too. I love my new car and feel confident I made a good decision buying from here and would recommend to others looking to buy a car. Very happy with the process and my purchase. Thank you Chris

Having gone to other well known garages and had awful cars I tried budget motors. I am so glad I did. Chris is absolutely amazing. Such an honest genuine nice guy. No hard sale. No BS. He listened and was just great from the beginning. He’s not a suited & booted kind of person. He had dirty hands from working on the cars. He knows his stuff. We picked up on a couple of little things and he said he’d get them done by pick up. He kept me in the loop on eta of car being ready to collect. He was an absolute star. He said it would be ready Saturday and it was! I’ve driven away today with confidence in the vehicle knowing I have a warranty too. The car is for my daughter after just passing her test so I’ve been super paranoid on the car she gets being safe to drive. I honestly have left there today 100% happy and no worries at all. Thank you so much Chris. You are an absolutely amazing person! Definitely recommend to others and will definitely be getting my other daughter’s car from him too!

Great experience - very helpful and kind men! Gave me good advice in general for my car hunt and the car I bought off them was the best I saw that day. They checked various things for me, allowed me a second test drive, were flexible about sorting a new MOT even after I took the car away, negotiated on the price… Can’t fault them thus far! Would go back and would recommend them to my friends.

Went looking for a reasonably priced run around, although some were above our budget, we found one with no problems. Chris advised us about a few things and promised this would be done before we collected the car. And they were! No issues since and made to feel at ease and welcome. Would definitely get any further cars should we need to from here but looking forward to a lot of happy motoring in our current one!

Stay away from this car sales! If you like to keep your money, don't go anywhere near them! Dodgy con artists. You'll end up with a car with multiple of problems, that you will end up having to pay for.

Bought a Blue Mokka from Mark, Budget Motors Caerphilly. He was so helpful during the sale and aftersales.
He went out of his way to make our experience go smoothly with complete satisfaction.

I can honestly say that the experience I have had with Mark and his team was brilliant. I was almost put off by some of the other reviews, but so glad I wasn’t.
My understanding is that mark took over a couple of months ago.
Anyway there were a few bits that needed to be done on my Jeep and they sorted everything and delivered to me in Norfolk. Mark really went above and beyond for me!

I bought a Vauxhall Mokka from Mark at Budget, was told the car would be serviced and valeted, with a fresh MOT. Mark told me he had fitted Bosch Fuel & Oil filters, MOT done and car would be valeted. When I collected the car, this wasn't valeted, smelled of dog, had done myself £50. Had to have a part fitted as knocking sound, this would have been a MOT failure, day after collecting cost £138 Mark reluctantly reimbursed. Car started to run sluggish 6 weeks after collection, went to my local garage, told needed service and fuel & oil filters changing as urgently needed doing £200. Had to also chase my V5. Mark said he would replace part of the interior dash as chrome was cracking with new one, he told me he could only get black, after closely looking at it, all he'd done was remove the cracked chrome work. Messaged Mark about the service of the car, ignored message.

These are your tipical used car dealers, they're not called "Budget Motors" for nothing, avoid them if you can but if you do decide to buy a "car" from them keep your wits about you and keep your eyes open, but most of all factor in the cost of a V5 as for some reason they don't give the green part or transfer the V5, it only takes a couple of minutes online to do when selling a vehicle

i got a car last year nead new clucht and flywheel the oil in the car was like jam day never checkt the oil on the car and day but the clocks back of the mile

Happy customer, purchased a 1st car for my son last week. 16 year old car with full service history & low mileage. Mark was pleasant to deal with. The car has been for a health check today at a main dealer & the car is in great condition.
