Another Successful Transaction
This is my third time using BuyBackTronics, like the previous 2 times, all went well. The process is very straight forward and took about a week, after they received the item, for me to get my check. I have sold many items online and have concluded that with the cost of shipping, fees, and just the hassle of dealing with unreasonable customers, selling to BuyBackTronics is just simpler and after all the fees and shipping you get just about the same amount for your items.

As I look through your inspection notes, the console was found to have clear signs of insect activity within the unit. Since you disputed the initial findings, a supervisor took a second look to reconfirm and concurred with the original assessment. As part of that process, images were provided to evidence the condition, and as I review those myself, it is clearly visible.
We do not open devices during the inspection process, as they remain the customer’s property. Based on the condition observed, the device falls outside of what we are able to resell. As a result, the offer was not reduced, but declined entirely.
As a courtesy, we arranged a free return of your device.
I also noticed you’ve traded in with us before, and that transaction was completed without issue. We’re sorry this particular experience did not reflect that.
I understand the frustration, however we were unable to proceed given the condition of the device.

Trash, told me one price then payed $600 less because they declaired the speakers were too quiet... maybe if they sent more then a box with packing peanuts it would have arrived in the condition i sent it out in which was nearly flawless.

Your initial offer of $1,432 was adjusted to $927, a difference of $505, after inspection. The device was found to have issues with both speakers along with backlight bleed around the screen edges. These findings were documented by our inspection team and reflected in the evaluation notes, as repairs of this nature do impact the value significantly.
Regarding packaging, the device arrived without any visible external damage to the box, which typically indicates it was not impacted during transit.
As I look through the communication, I do not see a request to dispute the findings. As with all customers, you do have the option to request a supervisor review. A second inspection is completed, and if findings are confirmed, we provide photo and video evidence along with receiving footage when needed.
At that stage, you can choose to proceed with the updated offer or request a return of your device.
We do our best to honor every quote provided. However, when the condition differs from what was initially described, adjustments are necessary based on the cost of restoring the device.
I hope this explanation helps provide some clarity.

BuyBackTronics is a true standard of customer service excellence. I sent them a working laptop that got significantly damaged in transit. BuyBackTronics filed an insurance claim with the shipping company on my behalf for the damage. They took care of everything.
The shipper denied the claim several times claiming it was my fault for inadequate packing. From the clear and detailed photos BuyBackTronics sent me the package was clearly damaged in transit. The original packing was absolutely perfect.
BuyBackTronics quickly rose to my defense and appealed the shippers denial of claim a number of times, escalating the appeal each time. BuyBackTronics stayed with the process and finally, after nearly three months persistence on my behalf, the shipper agreed to pay the claim. I have never seen a company stand behind a customer as aggressively as BuyBackTronics did for me.
They kept me informed all along the way. They were always quick to respond. They were always polite and patient. They have "customer service" truly figured out. A special and sincere shout out to Customer Experience Specialist, "Shiana" who was absolutely remarkable. I can say without one single doubt that BuyBackTronics is a 101% legit, caring, and honest business. I am very impressed and thankful with what they did for me. Go for it!
