good price, delivered when they said they wood, logs consistent size and good value - what's not to love.
The pallet was also useful to break down for kindlin as it wasn't all treated wood.

Should have gone elsewhere!
Absolutely awful company and wished had never used in the first place. My delivery is late through their fault and blame it on the weather but don't tell you until a couple of days before meant to be delivered and when run out of logs. They then tell you dont' deliver at weekends and then give me 3 hours notice when will not be at home and think will just leave either blocking my driveway or in the road, in the rain! They then said if was no safe place to leave the pallets I'd have to pay a £40.00 return charge, really!
I will never use this company again as they cannot offer the service their website states and just have excuse after excuse for their inability to operate properly and orders not fulfilled!

Your order was placed as a PREORDER, clearly stated on our website at the time of purchase. When our incoming container was delayed due to adverse weather conditions, you were proactively informed in advance and offered the option to change the product or receive a full refund. You confirmed in writing that you were happy to wait.
The order was dispatched on the agreed date, and delivery was scheduled within 2 working days after dispatch, with deliveries taking place Monday to Friday only, exactly as stated on our website. You were provided with tracking information in advance, which clearly showed the expected delivery date.
Regarding delivery arrangements, our delivery information page clearly explains that heavy pallets cannot be moved over gravel and that the customer is responsible for ensuring a safe and suitable delivery location. If no safe delivery point is available and the pallet must be returned, the return fee is charged by the courier, not by us.
We regret that this experience did not meet your expectations, but we respectfully disagree that our service or communication was misleading. All steps were handled in line with our published terms and the information provided to you.

Firstly I would like to thank fire wood direct as I have been using this company for a number of years now and have not had any reason to complain about what was supplied or the delivery. Both services have been first class. I was shocked to be told that I had been entered into there firewood lottery and have won a large pack of firewood.

I have used firewood direct twice now and am very impressed. My first order was for oak logs , the second birch. Both excellent when used on my wood burning stoves. Delivery was prompt and I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting good quality firewood.
