First-time customer.
Ordered acoustic panels through byggmax, and despite quoting delivery timelines of 10-15 business days it took almost 10 weeks to get the goods.

Customer support is swamped with calls, and you're lucky if they ever get back to you. Also quite unapologetic about the state of their operation and even acknowledging that waiting that long without an update is pretty abysmal.

Once the goods arrived I see that there's actually significant damage made to about half of the panels - so now I have to wait for customer support to (maybe) get in touch with me about replacements, which I suspect will just turn into a blame game between them, the supplier and the delivery partner. Fun times...

Overall not impressed at all - you're better off staying away from Byggmax

Total nightmare !!. Ordered a large order of wood delivered to my home. Of course half of it was the wrong size. Went straight to the Store I ordered from and the guy who picked my order told me that I had to contact customer service ? There was no apology from him nor did he make any effort to fix the problem. So I got a bit firm with him and was told then that my wood would arrive early the next day. Guess what ? It never arrived. I go back to the store and nobody can call any body and worse still nobody working there can tell when my wood will arrive. Seriously don’t do business with this company. They don’t care about you one bit! Depressing

Terrible delivery service. We ordered online and paid for "door delivery", then we called the previous day to the customer service, and said that it was needed a a wheelbarrow in order to deliver to our door (which we needed), as we live on a building with no direct access to the road...
The delivery day, they left us 600kg parket on the road, with no other option that carry it ourselves.... which we had to do fast because it was on the middle of the sidewalk!

First you do not show up on the delivery day. Without notice!
A few days later you cancelled my whole order without letting me know !
Byggmax. Never again !!

I asked a simple question, after 10 days I had no reply. I then decided to call and ask to why my question had not been answered. No reason was given, but I was told the product was no longer available. Why waste my time, why was it on the website, I was prepaid to spend over 10,000kr at Byggmax. I have now researched Hornbach who have better products and prices and my bussiness will go to them. I will also advise others to do the same

Excellent service! Quick, efficient and kind

We ordered a swing for our children, it was supposed to be delivered within 2-5 working days. After 3 days we received a notice that it will be delivered only after 6 days. So far so good we thought, that’s still within a reasonable time frame. But came the day the swing should have been sent, nothing happened. And the day after still nothing. Almost 2 weeks after the delivery was scheduled, the swing still hasn’t been delivered. We contacted Byggmax service via mail and they directly assured us an answer would come earliest 3-4 days. And it did, on the fourth day. Well, at least that was on time, we thought. Well, that was about all, because the answer didn’t even match our question. Instead of answering when we could expect delivery, we got notice that the a product could be picked up. Where, when, what...not information about that. So, the journey to getting our swing went on. While I‘m writing I still don’t have a clue when or even if we will get the product we’ve already paid for.
My learnings from this...we‘ll take our business elsewhere. The support at Bygmaxx is one of the worst I have ever experienced. Sad.

The company is only trying to make money. Customer support is terrible and you cannot expect anything to go through the way you want. Never have I encountered such an inexperienced and awful company to deal with.

I find it somewhat ridiculous that the minimum order limit when ordering from the online store is 28 euros. Seriously? It isn't very... well, this day. I found something that Byggmax has and I really need, but after noticing the minimum limit, I'll take my money elsewhere, thanks.

They sold us stolpesko that were 70mm x 70mm...except that they only measured 58mm x 58mm. When we pointed this out, they said we had purchased in the wrong series. But that they didn't carry any stolpesko in the "correct" series. I should think if something is labeled 70mm it could at least come close in size, or they could have offered to send us similar products that would fit the stolpe we ordered. Incredibly useless now, and I wish we had bought from somewhere else.

Bad experience in-store, was told that the manager would contact me. Still waiting. Posted a message on the byggmax fb page to explain about a terrible experience I had in store. I was told that a manager would get in touch to talk about it, which I appreciated, however no-one contacted me. Fail.
