Do not buy from this company.

Just bought a smart watch from Queensway location. Used / Damaged product was repacked and sold as new. It did not even turn on. I contacted the manufacturer head office. They needed the serial number etc. They wrote back to me. " We understand you purchase this item few days ago, but it apperas that warranty started in 2024 which means you are sold used or test device." A seems new watch, out of the box, expired warrantly. What kind of business person does such act and call it proudly Canadian. This is an insult.

Reviews are ALL lies!!

The sales part went pretty smoothly. However, I tried to review the laptop I purchased and since it's not a glowing review, they won't post it. DO NOT trust their reviews. Terrible business and I would never buy from them again

I went to buy a XFX 9070 XT and it said there was 10+ online ready to ship. Paid for it, and then waited for days for them to make any updates online to ship the item out... Finally after a week I decided to cancel my order, and they comfirmed the cancellation within minutes...

Do people here simply not want to do their jobs? It takes days to do nothing on an order after you take my money, but you can cancel and order within minutes?!?!

Some of the most useless staff every must work at this place. I was infuriated after I waited for days after paying and they couldn't give a single update... but they can cancel the order within minutes of asking for a refund... This is ridiculous.

Satisfied with the online purchase

Reading all these reviews almost scared me to cancel my order, but overall I'm satisfied. I purchased a combo deal motherboard/cpu/gpu online with Flexiti and free shipping. The 3rd day I received a tracking # and the 4th day Purolator picked it up. It took about a week to receive it. Overall I'm satisfied with the transaction, all the parts were sealed.

I placed several orders online, they charged my credit cards, yet they denied they received the money. Crooks!

Poor experience all around.

Cancelled orders for hard to get items that were sold online for store pick up, and then monies reserved in advance on my credit card, in favour of in store customers.

This happened multiple times.

Sold multiple returned items as new. An Astral 5080 OC and a Gigabyte 5090. I only noticed when I came home and the internal packaging was already opened.

Was encouraged by in store employee to return items in exchange for higher priced items unher his name.

Returned a few UNOPENED items in new condition.

After returning these items was banned for too many returns. Not even any warning or notice.

Thanks!

Excellent service and knowledgeable .

I was looking for an item online and was planning on picking it up at the Whitby Store on Victoria St. , Whitby , so I called 1st to find out how long before I could pick up the item , the person I spoke with ( Branden ) was very helpful , and said he would put the item aside for me , within minutes I was at the store and he greeted me just a few seconds after I walked in and walked with me to the counter , he made sure to ask if this item was compatible with my PC and we started talking about past experiences when it comes to PC's , the whole visit was satisfying and I wish there was a way to recognize Branden for his interest and commitment to doing a good job .

They false advertise their shipping times

They false advertise their shipping times to try and get people to order things off of their website. I am being told by the shipping company that it is going to take 7x longer than Canada computers told me it would. Order literally anywhere else, this website is a weak excuse for a place to sell computers. Not the first time this has happened.

Warranty scam, clueless employee

(This is from Mississauga Store) ATTENTION SHOPPER FOR CANADA COMPUTER WHEN SHOPPING AT THIS STORE PLEASE HEAR MY STORY. Got myself a motherboard with a 3 year warranty, come home and try to build it in my new PC, realize the motherboard battery is damaged when open the box and the ram slot is having some minor scratches. Come back the next day for replacements and the black dude at the service and return said it was not covered for physical damage when the product I brought from this store is already damaged and give me a wrong instructions to reset my motherboard battery this is telling you that the employee doesn't know what are they doing. Honestly what's the point of getting their warranty this is just a straight scam from this store and completely useless service and return from Canada Computer. Not only I got scammed from buying their warranty but also having a damaged motherboard with me. SO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKE YOUR RISK WHEN DEALING WITH THIS STORE AND I SUGGEST FIND AN ALTERNATIVE BESIDE CANADACOMPUTER.

Absolute garbage company

Absolute garbage company, won't authorize my credit card, despite having more then enough credit to cover the small purchase. Customer service said, send all of your credit card information over unsecured email and I will forward it to tech support. They have known about this issue for YEARS. I have never once purchased from them, as it's just too much trouble to do so, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Never buy from this store

I previously bought a laptop from them and was fine with it no problem. This time I bought an Asus router (by the way I highly recommand never buying asus) and had to return it because it died overnight 1 day it worked 1 day. I returned it and got another one of the same and made a swap because I didn't have my box anymore no problem. That new router also has issue it's working connected but not allowing any devices to connect I reset it to default ump times and now it's only transmitting 5Ghz and nothing else is connecting to it only my cell close by and of course the laptop connected directly, and I'm sick and tired of waiting on Asus support.
The douche didn't want to take it back because I do not have the box anymore and so he says I have to make another swap with I don't know what he doesn't have any other of this model except for an open box one. (That speaks volume about these routers) and on top of it I paid for an extended warranty. Well the woke will soon find out about the consumer law in Ontario and I garantee I will at least get a refund of his useless warranty. I never bought any extended warranty on anything because I've been burnt before and I decided to give it a shot this time. Big mistake never ever buy first of all extended warranty and don't touch Canada Computer in Kanata with a 10 foot pole be warn, you'll be burnt. If I could give it 0 star I would, your are better off buying American than buying in Canadian bullshit store

Just use Amazon

Never again. I used their online store to order some parts, I order the wrong parts, noticed immediately and tried to cancel my order. I tried the online cancel order function to be told by the website my order didn't exist, so I opened a ticket with customer service to cancel my order within 15 minutes of placing it. I got no response until after my order shipped and I opened another ticket with customer service. Now I've been emailing them for 2 weeks trying to return these parts, they've finally responded and now I can return the parts, but now I have to pay return shipping to from British Columbia to Ontario, it's not my fault your website doesn't function properly and your customer service is too slow to cancel an order before it ships. I will never use Canada Computers again. Just use amazon, save yourself the headache.

Canada Computers Saint Catherine Store worst customer service EVER

In July 2024 I bought new parts to build my new pc, one of the parts was 4090 and the guy who was dealing with me told me multiple times to buy the warranty bz these GPUs have issues. I said no multiple times then he said “that I can return it at any time if it’s about 30 days before the warranty expires. Because if you didn’t use it then it’s returnable.” I said no, but Again he insisted when I was about to check out and pay for my parts. I gave in because he assure me that I can return the GPU Warranty. Now, I don’t need the warranty just as I didn’t need it before and called the store to return the warranty. The head manager was very rude, didn’t allow me to speak, he was talking over me, stopping me as I was trying to explain my situation. Then he said “ all customers tell me the same excuse” I told him to please be respectful and let me speak and. It trow me in the same bucket with all the other customers. He didn’t seem to care and got rid of me very fast.
I went later on that day to the store and I spoke with an older gentleman he said he is a lower the store manager and he heard my issue and can’t help me ether same as before he tried to get rid of me quite fast and told me to contact customer service. As we were speaking the manager that I spoke on the phone he walked in after having a smoke and I felt like puking bz of the way he smelled so bad like very cheap cigarettes. He then got worked out like he was on the phone and they both ganged up on me and told me again very rudely that I am doing the same thing all customers do when they want their warranty returned. They both called me a lier indirectly by telling me that “all customers say that”.
I explained that this is a special case bz I didn’t want the warranty in the first place and his worker lied to me in outset to make a bigger sale. In the end they kicked me out and I said that if they can’t help me I will reach with my lawyer. At that point they said to get out or they will calm the cops on me and that they can’t speak with me anymore. As a customer that spent 6k I am disappointed in the customer service that I had received today and when i bought the parts as I was lied to. Their customer service is closed on weekends and no one can call be reached just in the week time when I work; and I am not able to call them while at work. Again if I could give 0 stars I would, worst experience ever, a Custumer supposed to be right as per their saying in training. But they never put that in practice.

Terrible service

I purchased a ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass Fusion+ D3O for my Samsung Galaxy S21 online, but it was delivered to a local store. When I picked it up, an employee installed it wrong, and the shield is not sealing properly. I contacted Cananda Computers, and they refused to replace it. If they're refusing to replace a $20 item, what would have happened if it was a larger sum? What a lousy company! Now I know why they have 1.5-star reviews. I wish I looked at their reviews before. I would give them a zero star if it was available. Stay away from Canada Computers; there are other stores with much better service.

Very Shady and Dishonest

I visited Canada Computers three weeks ago to buy various components for my computer, including a package of two RAM sticks. The total purchase was around $600 after tax, with the RAM costing $80.

After getting home, I realized I had made a rookie mistake—I had bought ECC RAM, while my existing ones were non-ECC. Thankfully, my receipt stated I had 14 days to return items. So, I went back seven days later, thinking it would be a straightforward exchange.

However, when I arrived, the technician took a quick glance and immediately refused the return. He claimed that the RAM was “broken” because of supposedly damaged capacitors. The Ripjaws package wasn’t sealed when I bought it, and I hadn’t noticed any damage. But, giving him the benefit of the doubt, I accepted what he said.

Out of curiosity, I took the RAM to a local computer repair shop. The technician there tested them, and guess what? They were perfectly fine. He even bought them off me for $10.

Lesson learned: You might save $10–$20 by shopping at Canada Computers instead of Best Buy, but don’t expect to return anything—even when you’re well within the return period. This is a shady way to do business.

Buyer beware.
