The wardens do a sterling job in keeping the sites in tip top condition - even the sites that are a little tired and in need of an upgrade.
The site staff courteously go about their work but can always be relied upon to help where they can.
One issue I have is the club’s inability to accept payment with gift cards prior to arrival effectively paying twice until the funds have been cleared. Not only does this seem counter intuitive to the ‘fast track’ system but could also provide added stress to those with already stretched bank accounts.
Whilst some may argue that access to the internet is contrary to the ethos of camping and caravanning it is, however, a necessary evil in today’s technology driven society. Most, financial institutions, companies and corporations not only undertake their transaction's but also primarily communicate via the internet. Internet connectivity across the club sites is at best inconsistent despite paying for premium WiFi. The ‘heat maps’ provided by the club are unreliable. At our recent stay at the New Forest Centenary site we were unable to connect via either free or premium WiFi despite the heat maps indicating good coverage. This was not help by the lack of mobile phone signal at our pitch. The only place that provided an acceptable broadband signal, in order to carry out necessary banking, was sitting outside the reception office - fast broadband was clearly available but the distribution across the site was clearly not satisfactory.

Every club site we have visited since 1996. Have had very curtious staff with a genuine, welcome smile, and checking that all was well at verious stages of our stay by passing the time of day whilst doing the excellent work throughout the site and especially with all of the facilities blocks. Also by helping with various enquiries and medical incidents as they occur. A big personal thank you for a very enjoyable time spent on holidays with the club.

The experience is that all sites are clean and new and lovley. The online booking is great. My negative is that on grass pitches they put pegs for you to pitch up to but the caravan only just fits between the pegs so where does the awning go. Everything is to regimented all in lines some sites are like a car park no charcitor.

The location was great very close to the beach. What I can’t understand is why is the WiFi not free nowadays on the sites ? Even members have to pay.when I go to most sites it is free ??! !

As long term members we are always happy to stay at the Caravan and Motorhome Club. There is a standard of service and friendliness that never disappoints. Each site is so well run and has everything we need. The membership is worth every penny.

Their sites are always in very good locations and the facilities are great. I still think it’s good value for the money, but has been increasing. Their support I have found to be good.

I am not happy with CMC as I didn’t get free night offer as I had not giving permission to send information which I don’t know I had done I have been in club 30 years and i am not happy

We really only maintain our membership to gain access to certified locations. We do find Club sites are well maintained but very expensive for the facilities offered and the pitching rules are too pedantic. Booking ferries through the Club offers minimal saving and any changes must be made through the Club which is only open during limited office hours.

You are gone far too expensive, and that includes membership fees, I won't be renewing my membership next year after all the years that I've been a member.

Your CL's are excellent value & well worth a visit but the main caravan sites I find are a bit expensive.

Easy to deal with and use systems (websites) we use the small 5 van sites most as prefer the variety. Very occasionally use the club sites and have always found them clean and well run. Some great deals occasionally arrive from insurance to travel and breakdown cover and all easy to access the information.
