Personal care is fantastic
Personal care from both physician and nurses. I have had my day to day care from the centre at Derby Royal, the nurses have been outstanding and its been brilliant to have continuous care from individual nurses rather than rotating around the 3 nurses on staff (who are all fantastic). The constant reassurance and support have been fantastic and Mr Jai has also bee outstanding. At the cente in Nottingham where the procedures happen, they have been very good at making me comfortable, checking I am well and supporting me throughout.

Forever grateful
Care Sheffield were absolutely amazing throughout our IVF journey last year. A special thanks to Debbie, Lucy, Sarah, Dr Chulet, Dr Petstas and the amazing embryologists who worked their magic behind the scenes!
We were kept very well informed throughout the process and everyone was so caring and compassionate. It was really comforting to see the same nurses throughout our appointments, although everyone we came into contact with genuinely seemed to care about our journey. The receptionists were also really kind and our phonecalls and questions were always well received and the nurses called back in a timely manner or responded promptly on the app.
After suffering a ruptured appendix, I had a unilateral hydrosalpinx and required a right salpingectomy. Unfortunately adhesions on my left tube meant spontaneous pregnancy was unsuccessful. After one round of IVF, our one and only embryo was transferred last July and we now have our amazing baby boy who’s almost 5 months old.
My husband and I will forever be in debt to the amazing team at Care Sheffield who made all our dreams possible!

Where do I start?!
We've never been so pleased with the service and care I received at my recent appointment at Care Nottingham!
From the friendly receptionist who checked us in and the incredible nurses & specialist: Dr Krishna, Jemma, Leonie, Laura & Holly who looked after us throughout our appointment. They were so bubbly and friendly who kept us calm and informed at all times. I didn't feel no pain and they awnsered all my questions.
Dr Krishna is the most humble woman I've come across in a while and her aura is so positive.
Honestly a great team and we cant thank them enough!

Excellent medical knowledge and generally supportive
I have had a few cycles with Care Manchester, having been at other clinics before. We are waiting on results of this cycle so know that this review isn't coloured by a positive outcome!
Overall the care has been good. The salve app significantly improves communication and everyone I have spoken to in all the departments is so willing to help.
The ultrasound technicians, nurses and Drs are almost all caring, funny when you need it and very aware of the complex emotions in this world.
Unfortunately one HCA did make a few comments at egg collection (my 5th overall) suggesting taking a holiday would "fix" it and asking whose "fault" it was. This really upset me at an already emotional time.
I was also advised by nurses at a transfer, when asking about physical activity, because it keeps me sane, and was told not to do anything I "would regret". Again that stuck and impacted my wellbeing for a long time. These are absolutely the exception but perhaps some training might help.
Dr Bamford is absolutely excellent. A calm, reassuring, compassionate presence and understanding of the desire to google and able to talk through the research clearly to help us weigh the benefits of options in a long and complicated journey. I have never felt sold to (unlike 1 of my clinics) and will offer the best treatments for you and actively discourage add ons if he does not think they are appropriate for you based on science (even if they may assist others). He will, however, support you in your choices.

Miracles really do happen...
Our care experience has been an incredible journey. It's had its heartbreaking moments... but has also given us our little miracle... our daughter.
The whole care Birmingham team have been incredible. In particular Bev, Helen and Dannie. They have all played such a special part in our journey. A special mention has to go to Bev who knew how hard it was, but gave us the hope and strength to keep going. She really had such an impact on our journey. We couldn't wait to take our daughter back to see the three of them, which was a very special moment and one we could only have dreamt of. From our first appointment with Dr Rutherford our care has been faultless. For something that is an emotionally charged process they made it as easy as it could be. After trying to conceive for 3 years…
After trying to conceive for 3 years with no luck, we were referred to Care Fertility to see if they could help us. I suffer with endometriosis and after having some scans and blood tests, we discovered I also had low ovarian reserve (only 3 follicles!) My partner had an analysis done and we were told we needed to have ICSI and we needed to do it asap if we wanted any chance of conceiving at all. Peggy, Nikki and Beth (Tamworth) were amazing and extremely supportive throughout, especially when our first round failed at 5 weeks. Lisa at the Birmingham clinic is also absolutely amazing and made us feel so relaxed at both rounds of egg retrieval and embryo transfer!
Fast forward to now, after 2 rounds of ICSI, I’m currently sat here with my 9 week old baby girl and have one more embryo frozen! If you are suffering with infertility please don’t give up. We were given minimal chance of success but it CAN happen. Thank you so much to everyone at Tamworth and Birmingham clinics, we will be forever grateful to you for making our dreams come true!
