NEVER GETTING BACK TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OF THEIR MISTAKES!
I had a tiny stone chip treatment with CarGlass. The crack got a bit "better", but they left two scratches close to the "fixing" area. I communicated with the company by calling them and sending them photos, but unfortunately they didn't agree what a mess their "operator" made. It is very obvious that scratches are carved with tools, since both marks are in parallel and consist of lines back and forth.
They could have simply offered me a glass polishing, but decided to avoid the risk of accepting what they did.
I am totally unhappy and I think the result is worse than what it was.

Thanks for your review.
When repairing a stone chip, the first and foremost thing is to restore the strength of the window and prevent the damage from "running" and the window from then having to be replaced.
How visible the damage is after the repair varies greatly. It depends on the damage caused by the chip, invisible stresses in the glass and whether the stone chip has been exposed to moisture and dirt. That is why it is also important to have a Carglass sticker or tape applied immediately. A stone chip can never be completely removed.

stone chip was repaired but not upto the mark, it was ok. half done but half left.
secondly they share a bill in which i already selected new wipers. But on service day 2 seperate bills be charged, one for repairs and one for new wipers.
Car Glass must inform the customers a total bill clearly before service.

We apologize that the repair was not satisfactory.
The outcome of a stone chip repair depends on several factors that are unfortunately beyond our control. These include:
• The size, type, and location of the chip: Some chips can be repaired so they become almost invisible, while others remain visible after repair. This is due to factors such as tension in the glass, which cannot be assessed with the naked eye.
• The age of the chip: The longer a chip goes unrepaired, the greater the risk of moisture entering and damaging the laminate. This can cause a milky-white discoloration that cannot be removed during repair.
• Covering the chip: If the chip was not covered immediately after it occurred, moisture, limescale, and dirt may have entered. These impurities cannot be removed and can therefore make the repair more visible.
For these reasons, we unfortunately cannot state in advance what the final result of the repair will be.
At Carglass, we also offer a service where the cost of the stone chip repair is credited if you subsequently choose to have the windshield replaced by Carglass within our warranty period.
Stone chip repairs are often covered by insurance, whereas wiper blades are always a separate out-of-pocket expense.
