They changed their website so now you can't access your account online. Before you could make payments, see how much you owe & when payments were due. Now you have to call to make a payment & you get automated. It glitched until I talked to a real person who never speaks English &you have to try to understand them. The website doesn't make sense.Frustrating I'm through.

I had bought a nice winter robe from Carol Wright Gifts and in June I bought only one top for about $13, I never was told or asked about signing up for any membership for any fee, but my father just called me and told me that I was being charged $14.95 a month for a membership that I never even knew about and never signed up for!

On the Better Business Bureau there are other complaints from customers of Carol Wright Gifts that said they did the same thing to them, and I will never give them any of my business with them again and they really should be out of business for scamming and ripping people off like this!

I called and spoke to a Carol Wright customer service agent today who told me that when I bought my top I was automatically enrolled in this $14.95 a month plan, and I kept telling her that I never even knew about it and I didn't enroll in it at all!

She claimed after my father called and asked for this to be canceled and to get a refund, (will see what happens) that they are giving me a refund and canceled my membership fee that I never of course even signed up for or even knew about.

Ordered two weeks ago, no tracking number yet! Called customer service, spoke to a woman who was snarky, and giggled, joking in background with someone... clearly wasn't interested in the job she was supposed to be doing. If I ever get the items I ordered, I will never be shopping with Carol wright again. How any company sustains itself doing this kind of "business", i can't imagine, perhaps they're in it to cause misery? As ridiculous as that sounds, its in keeping with the experience I've had. Shame on you Carol wright, GET RIGHT!❌💩❌

Terrible customer service and questionable practices!!!! My Mom was placing an order over the phone and kept receiving incorrect amounts (being told something was full price when she was seeing it online with a sales price) from the representative. The representative kept giving her different totals and my Mom would correct her. She gave my Mom a confirmation number before giving her a final total at which time my Mom told her the total was too high and the representative told her she would try to take care of it and the call was suddenly "dropped". My Mom called back but was told because she received a confirmation number there was nothing that could be done because the order was being put together (Seriosly, 10 minutes later?) and that she needed to call Customer Service (which was closed). It's not the first negative encounter with Carol Wright but will be the LAST as none of our family will ever order from there again.

3 of the items I ordered were delivered in damaged condition. Albeit could be from the delivery service and not the company but too complicated to return. Unlike Amazon where you can just take it to a store and return. I'm done with CW, quality of items can't make it through the mail.

The send me a catalog about three months ago so i go to order and it says "not available" so i get another catalog here three months later with the item still listed so i think they got more in and went to order same answer "not available" if its not flippen available dont keep it listed in the catalog as an item that can be purchased! Wont even look at the catalogs again when they come the item i want "wont be available"

Shipping and handling for an order I placed was $10.69. I was unhappy with my purchase and called their customer service to return both items. A shipping label was email to me. Shipping to me and returned to Carol Wright was deducted from my original purchase price to the tune of $22. What a racket! I only gave Carol Wright one star, because I had no option to choose ZERO. The items I purchased were cheaply made. DO NOT BUY FROM CAROL WRIGHT (OR DR. LEONARD’S AS THE OFTEN CALL THEMSELVES)!

I just got a dog sensor. Leg broke with glue back myself. Then has a hole on the side. I will never buy from this crap company again.

Would get a 0 star if I could. Ordered some gifts for Christmas. They were cheap and looked amazingly cheaper than the pictures when ordered. Apparently you sign up for perks that is $15 a month - I did not sign up for and based on other complaints I’m not the only one. Website has a place for canceling this subscription online but the email group won’t do it. They are rude and not at all helpful. Stay away.

I mailed my order firm anx check. They cashed my check and it cleared my bank, but when. I called ti find status of my order, they hsve no record of my order or payment evd. Though they already have my money! I have called several times, each time to be promised ghd next level of management will call me back and that so far has not happened. They want me to go to my bank and get a paper copy and mail it to them. First it will cost me a fee to obtain paper check copy and second, why would I mail them another item if they can't even find the paper order I mailed to them.....but again they found my enclosed check and cashed it! At this point I would just like my money refunded, but they claim they can't do this either. Absolutely worst customer service. I just want this matter resolved and I will never order anything through Carol Wright again.

they seem to make their money on shipping and return fees. gave me 1.70 back on a $22 return. Rip off

Horrible company to order from. I placed an order on January 8. It is January 21 and I still have not received my order. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they told BBB the order had been shipped the day before. I had not. Customer service is a joke. According to my account the order sat in the warehouse for over a week. Will definitely not be ordering from them again. DO NOT order from this company unless you want to get your order a month later. A shipping label has been created as of the 19th. Package still has not been picked up according to Fedex

CAROL WRIGHT IS A SCAM!!! SHOULD BE THROUGHLY CHECKED OUT BY THE BBB!!!. I AM 70. JUST PLACED AN ORDER JAN.5 2022. FIRST TIME. TOOK MY MONIES THEN THE NEXT DAY REVERSED IT. I WAS UNAWARE. DIDN'T CONTACT ME. I CALLED A WEEK LATER TO SEE WHEN I WOULD RECEIVE MY ORDER. WAS TOLD IT WAS ON HOLD BECAUSE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS DIDN'T MATCH MY PAYMENT ADDRESS. BUT, THEY PROCEEDED TO TAKE OUT THE PAYMENT. A WEEK LATER I CALLED TO SEE WHERE MY ORDER WAS. TOLD ME IT WAS CANCELLED!!!! BUT THEY STILL HAVE MY MONIES. I MUST NOW ALONG WITH MY BANK GO THROUGH A DISPUTE TO GET IT. I HAVE CANCER. AND ETC. DON'T NEED THIS CROOKED BULLS!!!!!!!!! THEY NEED TO BE CLOSED DOWN AND SUED FOR HARRASSING PEOPLE OUT OF THERE MONIES. THEY AREN'T WORTH IT. TAKE YOUR CHEAP STUFF AND!!!!!!!!

The quality of their products are cheap. I ordered a flannel nightgown and had a huge hole. I called their unhelpful customer service department and all they wanted was for me to return the nightgown to receive a replacement. Most stores would be apologetic and replace the item upon your call. I will never buy anymore of their cheaply made clothing.

This company is a horrible, constantly sending books and no customer service. I paid my bill on time and ordered occasionally from them, then they put my order on hold and ran a credit check inquiry. Why, I had paid my bill and was not over their limit, they are a scheister group. Beware!!

I purchased 2 Weighted Blankets last year and wasn't satisfied with the quality, I returned them at my expense and never given a credit or refund. My name is Elizabeth Sterling in Wilmington NC. This company does not solve problems or care about Customers Satisfaction. Needless to say, I didn't even get a phone call, never will I order from this company again, my 200.plus was stolen from me.

Garbage. Received two pairs of miccasins at $14.98 each but after all shipping & handling charges the bill was over $100 and I am on Houston, Tx. Product was little better than cardboard. Beware they even charge $10 to return product! Crooks & thieves wear masks but Carol Wright just steals with high fictional addon charges. Beware.

Very poor customer service. I ordered a pair of pumps for a wedding and a few days after my order I received an email saying “ We are in receipt of your recent order. We have put your order on hold because the name and address provided does not match the billing information on your credit card.”
I replied immediately to that email and received a form reply saying they have received my inquiry and would reply ASAP. After a few more days I called and was told that I needed to contact my bank because the credit charge was refused. That wasn’t even mentioned in the first email! I cancelled the order because there was no way it would get to me in time. Very frustrating waste of my time.

Awful experience. Ordered an oven liner but instead got a furniture cover for a recliner. After getting disconnected THREE TIMES, I was told to return the wrong item first before they send me the correct item. I told them to send me the right item first then I will return the wrong item. I got DISCONNECTED again. I threw their catalog in the recycling bin. NEVER AGAIN, Carol Wright!
