Absolutely excellent job done by the two chaps from the Isle of Wight and the chap from Southampton. I have dealt with Carpet barn before and the service was excellent then as well.
Thoroughly recommended.

Always use Carpet Barn and Bed Store Poole . Have looked at all the local stores and they really can’t compete on customer service or pricing. I’ve bought flooring, carpet’s’ mattresses and beds from Kurt over the past 6 years plus as Kurt and the team go the extra mile.

Ferndown store- Staff weren't overly helpful, rather be sat at a desk. Moaning about children trying out beds. A young guy finally helped to confirm the size was correct (2.7m). Our fitter collected and arrived home to find that it had infact been cut too small(2.4)! He had to return the roll and take something different due to their mix up. No apology nothing!

Never again - what started as a positive experience with the Eastleigh store turned into the worst experience I have ever had when buying goods or services

Extortion

I have been forced into paying a further £300 for the carpet in a room I have already paid for. I received a quote and paid for all my upstairs rooms to be carpeted, these were listed in the quote and the receipt I duly received. On installation day the fitters claimed the study was excluded and the store phoned me demanding a further £600, we settled on £300. I should not have paid a penny but was worried they would walk off.

Rude Fitters

The original job was in 2 fittings, the first fitters were excellent, the 2nd fitters were not as polite and professional, complaining about the stairs to the point my wife felt obligated to get my son to carry the carpet up! They also failed to trim the carpet behind the door!
Now on fitting the study the wrong carpet has been installed. This was quite obvious and they must have known it was wrong and decided they would try and get away with it. I assume this was done with the complicit knowledge of the store team.
Regret ever going near this company.

Excellent, knowledgeable staff in Poole, very helpful. We bought carpet and a bed base and headboard. The two young fitters were brilliant, did a fantastic job, and were more than happy to move furniture around when we weren’t quite ready for them. The two who delivered the bed were great, despite the awkwardness of bringing the bed in. Thanks to all

Lack of communication between store and carpet fitter. I specifically asked to be rung 30 mins before the fitter arrived as I needed time to get home from work. The fitter was a bit annoyed, verging on rude, because I was not home and said we wasn't told to ring me beforehand. He even threaten to leave I I wasn't there within 20 mins.

Store staff very polite and accompanying. Work hard to get installation date to aline with other deliveries

Carpet laid perfectly. Even went inside cupboards and wardrobes.

The bed itself was fairly priced and of good quality. The delivery was sloppy, two castors were left on the driveway, the new mattress was bent around the stairs despite it being a fully sprung variety that should not have been. The manufacturer care label was also removed by delivery team, necessitating a further phone call to the manufacturers for a replacement. Instead of two delivery men sharing the load between them for each piece of the divan, the attempted method was one half each. The bedroom TV was knocked over due to lack of care once the mattress was in the room. In summary not enough care taken with the delivery aspect of this order.

Recently had the pleasure of having laminate flooring supplied and fitted by this great company!
Have used them several times over many years, always very pleased with the product and customer service.

Carpet Barn is in Longwell green. A very large barn containing flooring of all sorts.
This is my third time buying carpets here due to the range and price of carpets.
This is an independent store with excellent employees who listen and are not pushy.
I would recommend the 3 guys who work there especially Ant who helped me the most. Very friendly and ordinary.

Do not waste your time going to the Poole branch of Carpet Barn. I ordered click LV flooring and arranged that it would be delivered to my house. Eventually I phoned them and was told ' o yes, it had arrived.'
I drove their to collect it, to expedite the process.
A salesperson loaded the boxes into my car. Two boxes had obvious damage, and one was wrapped in plastic (badly). The salesperson assured me that the contents had been checked in the warehouse and was fine, that it was only the cardboard box that was affected. On opening the boxes the click edging of every plank in one box was found to be smashed and un-usable, and some damage to some planks in another box. It was obvious that no-one had checked anything.
Now waiting for replacements.
Appalling service. Do not waste your time going there.
