Good experience, Adeel was great not a pushy salesman which is appreciated. Too many checks with mananger though so maybe staff could be given a bit more responsibility. Also it would be better to... See more

I came in today to buy a new car and it was the most pleasurable experience from start to finish. A charming young man called Taylor Nicholson was extremely enthusiastic and a delight to deal with. He took us out for a test drive and answered all our questions. Jim has also been brilliant and came up with an excellent deal. Both my husband and I are returning customers and we have been dealt with brilliantly. Thank you so much.

I went to their Hyundai showroom and was left with broken appointments and broken promises.
So I went to their MG showroom and ended up flummoxed and frustrated with their deals changing far too frequently.
So I went to another, completely different dealership, and agreed on a sale that I wanted within 3 minutes and everything signed in less than 15 minutes.
Cars2 wasn’t for me. If they offered me a completely free car, I’d turn it down.
E2A: thanks for your reply and thank you for confirming my correct decision to give you a miss.

Spoke to Ellis in Bradford showroom enquiring about a particular car. Was told the car was in "mint" condition. Took a 4 hour round trip the next day to view the car to find it looked like it had been dragged through a hedge backwards. Every panel around the car was scratched, the car was filthy (probably to hide the scratches). Not my definition of mint!
The response to this review does not address the fact your salesperson told me the car was in mint condition, under no circumstances did he mention it being subject to wear and tear. Quote from your advert "this is as close to new as it gets"

We have had a interesting experience with Lewis. Given him 2 very 1st's for him whilst trying to finalise our transaction. Lewis definitely done Cars2 proud and everyone needs a Lewis. He definitely worked above and beyond what he should have done, was under the cars trying to find something we didnt need in the end. He also worked after we had left on this for us. We were with him for 5 hours all in all. There are certainly no problems with Leeis just solutions. Well done Lewis your a star and we really appreciate all of the hard work you have put in to this and thank you

My experience with this dealership has been extremely disappointing and has resulted in an ongoing dispute that is now being considered by the Financial Ombudsman Service.
From the outset, I found the customer service to be poor, unprofessional and lacking in accountability. Communication was often inadequate, responses were slow, and I frequently had to chase for updates and information rather than being kept informed once i ordered and placed a down payment on the car. At no stage did I feel that my concerns were being handled with the level of care, competence or professionalism that a customer should reasonably expect.
When I finally took possession of the car what makes this experience particularly frustrating is that "brand new vehicle" began exhibiting faults within the first few hours of me driving it away from the dealership. Almost immediately after taking possession of the vehicle, I encountered a number of serious issues, including concerning engine noises, excessive smoke bellowing from the exhaust, electronic faults and other defects. These were not minor issues that developed after months of ownership; they arose virtually straight after purchase and significantly undermined my confidence in the vehicle.
Given the nature and extent of the faults, I rejected the vehicle and expected the matter to be dealt with fairly and promptly. Instead, what followed has been months of stress, inconvenience and financial loss. Rather than resolving the matter fairly, the dealership disputed my rejection, resulting in an ongoing complaint and Ombudsman investigation.
Throughout this period, I have continued to make monthly finance payments and maintain insurance cover for a vehicle that I have been unable to use. Despite the vehicle being returned to the dealership, I have repeatedly had to request information and documentation relating to it, including workshop records, diagnostic reports, technician notes and communications concerning the faults, inspections and repair attempts. The lack of transparency throughout the process has only added to my frustration. I have not even received an invoice for the purchase despite asking for it many times. Finally after months they told me that the invoice in on an online system, which id never been told about. They claim i fabricated faults, but it was their own head mechanic who told use to leave the car with them after witnessing the engine noise for himself, their sales team witnessing the electronic glitches and faults on the car.
The most concerning aspect of my experience occurred whilst the dispute was still ongoing. Whilst I was at work, representatives acting on behalf of the dealership attended my property and recovered the courtesy vehicle that had been provided to me. The vehicle was parked in my front garden on private property. My personal belongings were removed from the vehicle and it was taken without my knowledge at the time, leaving me without transport and causing further distress, inconvenience and expense.
What should have been a straightforward resolution to a faulty vehicle complaint has instead become a prolonged and exhausting ordeal. I have spent countless hours dealing with correspondence, complaints, requests for information and investigations, all while continuing to incur finance and insurance costs for a vehicle that remains the subject of dispute.
In my opinion, this dealership has demonstrated poor customer service, poor communication, a lack of transparency and an unwillingness to resolve a legitimate customer complaint in a fair and timely manner. The way this matter has been handled has fallen far below the standards I would expect from a professional dealership.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership and would strongly encourage prospective customers to consider how they may be treated if significant issues arise after purchase.
I am now awaiting the outcome of the Financial Ombudsman Service investigation.

I agreed a deal to buy an MX5 from Cars2 Wakefield with an agreed completion and collection date of the 23rd May. The day before I was informed by the salesman ,Joshua, that the car had been accidentally damaged and the sale had to be cancelled. I accepted the disappointment as just an unfortunate accident. However I then found it difficult to get my deposit of £825 returned. My texts and phone calls were ignored. I only got a result when I made a formal complaint and the situation was dealt with by the relevant sales manager. Taking nearly two weeks to return a deposit when a sale had been cancelled due to the car being damaged when in Cars2 Ltd's care is poor customer service. I would advise potential customers to confirm the circumstances and timing of the return of a deposit and who is going to take responsibility to ensure it is returned.
