WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF THERE WERE SUCH A THING ..3 year initial plan expired so got the next best one and this is it....Torque converter went out...which means the transmission is also out, they wanted to replace with a used, not rebuilt transmission and also said they were not responsible for the transmission fluid or programming...5300.00 total...said they would pay 2850...when I called they said.. "It's in your contract..." so... shame on me for not reading the contract and its a PITA for the mechanic as well get started...

WORST COMPANY EVER. PLEASE DON’T WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. They are FRAUD. They will deny your claim for no reason and if you try to get a refund, they won’t even tell you what the amount they refunded you is and basically rob you.

This is garbage please don't purchase this is not even a warranty I am sure they are rich because they just still consumers money.

The only reason they get a star is because I had to to write this review. Worst company ever they don't cove anything. Waste of your money and they rude.

This is the absolute worst auto warranty company in America!! They cover nothing!! Out of 3 trips to the car repair shop and over $12,000 dollars spent they have covered absolutely nothing!! The Federal government should storm their facility and shut them down!! They are stealing people's money and giving you nothing!!! I gave them one star since they wouldn't let me give 0. If you buy a car, don't buy a warranty from this site.

This company is a SCAM!!!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Customer needs to be aware of this Company and it's warranty procedures!!!
There's no emergency, nor exceptions.
You, or the repair shop have to call them before any work can be start...
I had just bought, and drove off my car from the dealer, only to find out the couldn't pass inspection, very dangerous to drive...
Had to change 2 front axle, wheels, and tires!
1 grand repair out of pocket, and they wouldn't acknowledge none of it...

They didn’t even cover the typical 50%-75% of the repair for a turbo charger that went bad on my Audi. The service rep at the dealership said most warranties cover that much and this one didn’t even cover 25% of the repair. Stay away from this warranty and get anything else out there.

Don’t even want to give them the one star but couldn’t start the review without it. This is absolutely the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. We have the “ Ultimate package “ which the dealer included when we purchased our car. Barely had the car 2 months and it started overheating took it to the shop and they said it was the water pump which is supposed to be covered. Yeah right they won’t pay for the parts supposed to pay for $100 an hour in labor and they won’t. We are supposed to have rental car coverage that’s a lie. I’m also going to file a complaint with the BBB. And if there is a class action lawsuit against this company tell me where to sign up.

I purchase the Ultimate Value warranty from a local auto dealer for 2 years for my Infiniti. After 6mths the transmission started vibrating and I was told by Cars to take it to a transmission shop near me. I did and all I had to pay was the deductable. Everything went smooth and without complication. If there was a hold up, it was from the mechanic shop that was very busy. I recommend this warranty company.

Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. I dropped my truck off in late April for transmission issues, they agreed that the transmission was bad and agreed to send a replacement. Fast forward 6 weeks and the one they sent was also bad. I picked up my vehicle and turned in my rental car after paying a $3000.00 rental bill only to be told they will only ship another one if the truck is still at the shop (which it sat at for 6 weeks)! Spoke to them today and George (complete jerk) said to take it back and have the shop call when it is there again. I would never recommend this company to anyone, steer clear!!!!

I will be reporting Cars Protection Plus to the Michigan Attorney General's Office. The last review is correct, this company will not stand behind it's warranty and they will slow roll you through the process. Spent $2,800 on his policy. The car was running but misfiring, sent to garage, under warranty and they took two months of back and forth and two third party review, for them to give me verbal denial. Now it is going to cost me $1,300 to get a car that no longer runs because Cars Protection Plus had them dismantle it at the shop, released. I am now required to request a written denial from them, going to need it. If anyone is aware of a class action lawsuit against this company, please let me know. I heard it in its employees voices every time I called throughout the two-month process, when they repeated the company's prepared statements to this customer, that they all have difficulty sleeping at night working for this organization. I also noticed that they have not had a response to complaints since 2019 - so they clearly have just given up.

This company is a fraud. Denied my claim and will not give me a statement on why. All I can do is rely on what the mechanics told me. They do not answer their phones or e-mails.

Please do not purchase this warranty. There is so much wrong! After purchasing a car with a 4 year loan decided to get the 4 year warranty unlimited miles to have piece of mind that this older car had coverage if something went wrong. 1st issue. Most will allow you to cancel at any time. Not this one. You have to cancel within 30 days. Ridiculous! Read the fine print!! Most cars won’t likely have anything wrong in such a short period. But I did. The AC went out and needed a new condenser. Labor was $169 per hour the warranty is $70 per hour. The total cost at dealer was $1200. Well the Cars Protection Plus doesn’t cover the diagnostic which was $220, there is a $100 deductible, then some necessary items are charged for install not covered. The labor was the bulk of the expense but even the condenser they covered $170 or around that yet the dealers charge was around $220. (Less than $100 if bought through parts store). The net credit that we could get back was $18. But I also had to rent a car so it’s now negative $200 or 0 covered. They don’t cover rentals even though it is listed. I think it is cover for 8 hours in shop but my fix was 3.5 hours. Ridiculous! I am so upset that I got duped. Don’t make the same mistake I did. DO NOT PURCHASE!! Put the money in a savings acct and when issues come up use then money it cost for the warranty. You may end up with money left over in the end.

This company couldn’t be more of a scam
Put a claim in for engine work which is covered under this so called warranty… followed procedure to the letter waiting for an adjuster who never showed up and the “warranty “ company telling me they can’t go forward until the adjuster who never showed up file his report but they have no idea what adjuster company went out (which was none according to the Chevy dealership) and get this under our warranty we qualify for a rental car but for only the time of the labor but again the inspection report is necessary.. we just paid to fix put truck out of pocket… that’s really what they want is to discourage people from using their warranty

I purchased an upgraded contract for piece of mind on an older vehicle from a used car dealer. I have numerous issues to resolve some of which are consumables such as brakes which obviously wouldn't be covered. However I do have valve cover and oil pan gasket leaks which are significant and were not apparent at the dealer until after the vehicle had been driven. the contract in bold print lists "Seals & Gaskets" are covered. then explains, in small print, only when needed when servicing a failed covered part? They are NOT covered do to the gasket failing and leaking everywhere. The contract is full of crafty language that doesn't seem to cover anything that will typically go wrong.

This company approved that I take my car to the dealership but when the bill came they refused it giving the most ridiculous reason anybody could hear. They are NOT recommended.

This company is fraud I will not recomend them to any one, They send two inspectors and both told us the cost engine falier is not customer falt because car has oil and was maintens good its intornal. this people are rude,vicious and ruthles. I will call my bank and canceld all transaction that i made to them!!

I will never recommend this protection plan to nobody I called on March 25th to make sure I can still put a claim in for my warranty on my transmission they told me yes look for a a garage to start working on it I do it and they said because of that day it expired so they can no longer work on my vehicle it's my responsibility to pay for it now

I am forced to give a star because there is no option for zero star.
My car has an engine and transmission problem with all codes from the diagnostic tool. These guys are asking me to pay for the engine and transmission to be taken down so that they can determine the cause of the bad engine and transmission.
There must be a cause for any bad engine. It does not make sense that I have to pay for engine and transmission to taken out wait for someone to come and inspect the parts. Someone help me here.

I will not recommend anyone to get this car warranty. The company is out in Pennsylvania. The customer service is as rude as hell.
The warranty was imposed on me when I was buying a car. So it came as a package on the car loan.
I am still in the process with them. They promised if I don’t take out the part, they are not going to fix the car even though I have the codes.
