A great family-run store
It’s good to see that local, family-run businesses can still cut it alongside the big stores. Castleberg has been around for years and I remember buying from the shop a long time ago. It was easy to think they’d disappeared like many other smaller outlets but they’ve cropped up regularly in my recent searches with some of the best prices around. Not only was the top I bought cheaper than the big stores, it was delivered for free and came within a couple of days. Excellent communication and a dedication to customer service will mean I will be back for more gear soon.

This is the second order I have placed…
This is the second order I have placed with Castle berg Outdoors, both items arrived very quickly. I bought the Injinji toe socks which took a little while to get used to but now I won't wear any other socks to run or hike and am gradually buying all the different thicknesses so I can wear them all year.

Excellent service from an independent, family-run outdoor gear retailer
I got a tick remover for free in a magazine for walkers years ago but lost it a couple of years back. I was very disappointed because it was such a great design. After regular searches on line I eventually found exactly the same type advertised by Castleberg Outdoors. No fuss, good price, free delivery, and arrived within the stated timescale. Happy customer.

We've had three pairs of mid-price boots ...
We've had three pairs of mid-priced boots off Castleberg recently and all have been excellent - great advice every time. Wide feet? bunions? Awkward size - these guys have it all. And the products are so wellmade compared to high street chain stores.

I can happily recommend Castleberg Outdoors!
I bought a pair of HOKA kaha3 from this company as I do 'rucking' (yes, it is a thing!), and I also realised that the criteria I needed for the boots was going to cost the thick end of £200.00 plus!
Fortunately, I stumbled across Castleberg Outdoors during a lengthy Internet trawl.
Not only did they have the boots I wanted in stock, and in my size, they were also cheaper with this company than anywhere else I could find.
It was a nice, easy transaction. The boots arrived safely, and well packaged within a couple of days, so I have no complaints whatsoever.
Happy customer = returning customer!
