I visited Catton Hall as part of a charity day of clay pigeon shooting with work. My group was ushered round by Jackie, I started out not hitting anything and felt a bit nervous and embarrassed, Jackie coached me through the shooting process and handling of the gun as I had never done anything like this before, she really built up my confidence and had me shooting 4 in a row before the day was done, she was friendly and approachable, we had a laugh with her and she really listened and accommodated my needs and helped me feel like I had accomplished something! Especially as one of few women shooting along side men who were all on target! I would go again! But wear more padding.

We did archery and clay shooting for a hen do, and we all had so much fun! All of the staff were so helpful and friendly guiding us through everything and we topped it off with a nice lunch in the lodge cafe, would really recommend! It was only a 45 min drive from Liverpool where we were staying and easy to get to. Thank you to all the staff we saw on the day 😊

This was my second time clay pigeon shooting at Catton Hall, and it was just as enjoyable as the first! The whole experience was smooth and a lot of fun. A big shoutout to our instructor, Phil — he was incredibly friendly, patient, and gave great advice that made a real difference. His enthusiasm really added to the day. Already looking forward to coming back again… and hopefully winning this time! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and memorable day out.

Five-Star Experience at Catton Hall Outdoor Activities!

We had the absolute pleasure of visiting Cotton Hall Outdoor Activities today for our team meeting, and from start to finish, it was nothing short of exceptional.

The day kicked off with a warm welcome and delicious bacon sandwiches that set the tone perfectly. We then settled into our team meeting, followed by a fantastic lunch — the food was truly outstanding, beautifully prepared and absolutely faultless.

After lunch, we took part in clay shooting, which was a brilliant experience. Our instructor, Jackie, was incredible — friendly, supportive, and made everyone feel at ease, regardless of experience level.

The entire day was so well organised, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet professional. We genuinely loved every minute of it and left feeling refreshed, energised, and already planning our next visit.

I would 100% recommend Cotton Hall to anyone looking for a unique team day out or even just an enjoyable outdoor experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a brilliant day clay pigeon shooting with big Barry, so enjoyable and learnt loads from him! 10/10 would recommend.

We booked for a group of 9 of us for air rifling and archery for a friends birthday and everything about this place was great. Adam who went through the activities with us was fantastic and even from booking it in it was easy to do so and the staff were great and really friendly and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wanted to have a fun day out with their friends or family. Will definitely be coming again ☺️☺️

Clay Pigeon Shooting and the Big Barry Bonanza! Great experience! It was a family event with three ladies and two gents who have never shot clay pigeon before. Big Barry was great! Funny, informative, respectful and a proper gent. When you think they do that tutoring so many times a day week after week...You have to love it to be that good! Thank you Big Barry for that Buckshot Bonanza!! =D

Their employee, Rob, is committing gross misconduct on a regular basis.

He is soliciting work and taking custom away from Catton Hall for his own financial gain. During shoots, he delays the experience so that he can shill his virtual game shooting business for corporate events. He even wears a branded shirt under his Catton Hall waiscoat so that he can show people present.

He says, "Don't say anything to anyone here. I don't want them to think I'm stealing their customers."

He is stealing their customers.

He has a conflict of interest. He is promoting his own business and stealing custom at Catton Hall's expense. That is gross misconduct.

It was our first time clay pigeon shooting.
Our instructor Barry was efficient, professional and friendly, which put us at ease from the start.
There were a good variety of angles the clays came from. We felt we had plenty of time to get comfortable. We did better than we thought we would, thanks to Barry’s instruction. Overall a fantastic experience.

Came here for a stag do and it was fantastic. Rob took us out shooting in the morning and he was great, humorous and knowledgeable. A few of us hadn't shot before and Rob had us all hitting the target. We did paintballing in the afternoon, which was superb. The gents running it were funny and really helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Came for a stag and was brilliant! All absolutely loved it. The old boys who were with us shooting, they were top quality! But if your not as good as the others they will make you know haha. Helped you improve within minutes and afew shoots!

Had a really fantastic time with my daughter at Catton Hall learning how to use an air rifle . The setting was beautiful and the instructor was absolutely brilliant! Cannot recommend enough! Thanks for a wonderful visit ! We’ll be back to try out the archery or quad biking next time !

I brought my brother a clay pigeon day out as a present for Christmas. My Dad and Brother decided on Catton Hall / Adventure. I have to say they had a fabulous day shooting, they had only done it once before. Rob the instructor was amazing and so friendly and was always ready with tips what a great man... I have to say the atmosphere was great and definitely booking my dad and brother for another day there... Definitely recommend to anyone to go it is amazing Thanks Rob!!

Absolutely brilliant time at catton hall clay shooting and quad biking . Best time had in a long time , staff were great and very helpful especially Big Barry on shooting ! Would highly recommend taking a visit to catton hall to take part in one of the many activities. We will definitely be back ,Thanks to all staff from Matt, Danny & Alfy 👌🏻

I recently went quad biking at Catton Hall as part of a work team building activity. I have to say it was really fun! Josh & the team were great, felt safe at all times and had a good sense of adventure. Would defiantly recommend

what a great time we had at Catton Hall today, booked to do Clay Pigeon Shooting, none of us had ever done it before, bought tickets for hubby's birthday. Barry our instructor made our visit, he was so friendly, gave fantastic instruction and encouragement, a real asset to the place. Everyone has the bug and wants to do it again. Would recommend this activity to everyone.
