I feel we have had a good system installed. I'm happy to recommend CB heating, Stephanie Byrne was helpful as was Nicholas in the sales team. As with most things there are things that could have been done better but everything was resolved in a timely manner, so I feel pleased with what has been installed.

Phoebe was great supporting the process at every step of the way.

I had an installation of a heat pump in November 2024 with CB Heating. They arranged for a subcontracted engineer to install the system which CB Heating had designed
The contracted engineer was a nightmare and caused a variety of problems, which resulted in CB Heating removing him off the job
I have awarded such a high rating for CB Heating as you don't know how good a company is until things go wrong.
I was shown the appropriate level of support and guidance through the individuals who work for the company,
In particular I would like to commend Phoebe Matthews from Customer Care and Martin Cammidge Technical field team, who really provided me with a duty of care.
I did submit a formal complaint which CB Heating responded to and offered me compensation which I accepted.
Again whilst the installation was difficult, I was happy with the response of the company and am very pleased with the heat pump

I would highlight that my first winter with the heat pump had an impact on my electric bills, I have subsequently increased my battery capacity as well as being able to get my smart meter to work so I am now on a smart tariff and hope this will assist with the cost going through the colder months

I do not regret changing from oil to a heat pump, I love the constant heat it offers, working away in the background

I had been considering installing an air source heat pump for some time reading up the pro and cons including the suitability of my home.
I submitted an application to my energy supplier who advised that they were not currently accepting applications from my area.
I left it pending and a few months later I read an interesting article from EDF Energy Air Source Heat Pumps. I followed it up by making an application and the response and the process from initial start to the completion by all the EDF Team were customer focused throughout, from being advised the house was suitable for the installation of an air source heat pump and the provision of advice and support at every stage of the process from arranging the Energy Performance Survey to obtain EPC Certificate which included very useful recommendations to consider for increasing the EPC Rating of my home, to the Installation of the Heat Pump and the continued after care. All the EDF Team have been exceptional throughout and Phoebe Matthews has recently arranged support when a minor adjustment was required in meeting our needs.

The whole process went very smoothly, from the enquiry, to the application to the install and follow up. All questions answered fully and timely, everyone was very friendly and polite, we had excellent support from Phoebe who was our Customer Operations Advisor. Happy to recommend

CB Heating/EDF Heat Pumps provided a great, efficient service. Where there were small issues with my installation (external lagging replacement, and DHW tank levelling) Phoebe provided super efficient support, and booked one of their service engineers to come out in a reasonable timeframe.

Phoebe and the team did a great job at installing our heat pump system. Would recommend.

EDF were the second company I approached for a quote, after I had taken the decision to install an air source heat pump. I already had solar panels on my roof which provided power for heating water, and the main reason for accepting EDF's quote was that they were happy to incorporate these in their design, whereas the company providing the other quote intended to get rid of them entirely, since their equipment would not work reliably with them.
EDF's quote also came in as slightly less than the other. I believe the main reason for this could have been that the other company sent a representative to look at the house and assess the feasibility of installing a heat pump. EDF did not send anyone, but in the early stages relied on photos which I provided per their instructions. They sent an assessor later, but only after they had agreed that the project was feasible (including incorporating the existing solar panels). This assessor unfortunately made a major mistake in deciding that the new hot water tank would be installed in the loft: in fact it proved to be impossible to get a water tank of the proposed size through the small bathroom which gives access to the loft space. It was only when the installers (a separate company who sub-contracted the work from EDF) tried to get the new tank into the loft that it became clear it was impossible. Fortunately a very acceptable alternative was available, and the project went ahead with no further issues.
The installers were excellent - helpful, courteous and knowledgeable, and I have asked them to take on responsibility for carrying out the annual servicing. EDF too have provided excellent post-installation service, and when I could not get any cold water in a recent heat wave talked me through the process of reducing the water temperature in the tank.
The only glitch in this whole process was the mistake by the assessor over the positioning of the hot water tank. Everything else has been exemplary.

We just had our heat pump installed. The guys were very knowledgeable and tried their best to work with us on the best solution for our needs.

A particular mention to Sales Jason B, Design Jason F, our installer Ryan, and not forgetting the fabulous Phoebe.

Heat pump installation by EDF Heat Pump & CB Heating went smoothly without a glitch. They organised government grant on our behalf. They go through the Design process and provide design and installation document in advance so that we understand what are required from us and what to expect from them.

My experience of this company was made a lot more informative and kept in the loop by one of the employees conner read he kept me updated on most of the visits he was very pleasant and professional

Excellent service from EDF Heat Pumps when I had a problem with the heat pump installed last summer. They got someone out quickly to resolve it without any bother. Highly recommended.

I had a very good relationship with the EDF heat pump company, they were very professional and polite as well as being extremely helpful as I needed to replace a few radiators to work best with the new system and they helped me to choose the right ones. I would strongly recommend them to anyone. Tanya always stayed in touch even after the installation

Had a heat pump installed by Liam smith a month ago, very professional and has done a fantastic job. EDF on a whole were great from start to finish and I have no complaints what so ever

The proposed system diagrams and specifications were very detailed and explained to us, before signing contracts or anything. The work was carried out efficiently and all packaging etc was removed from our property. The Engineers were very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. They passed on, how we could make our then, current solar system even more efficient.

Excellent customer service, continuing through the install and into post care.

EDF Heat Pumps were great from initial estimates, design, quality control, implementation, services and documentation. So many people I know have done their research and tried to install themselves but have found it very stressful. One of the best features of EDF was having named individuals at each stage like Ramya who took responsibility for the installation.

I was extremely happy with all aspects of the installation, from the initial discussion and planning with Jason and Harley, practical details of timing and follow up with Phoebe, to the actual installation. Ciaran and his team were exemplary - courteous, extremely hard working and efficient and they made the whole experience better than I could have expected. I cannot praise them enough and send you all my thanks.
