I'm a customer of CDJapan since 2013 : I generaly buy the multichannel (5.1) CD or SACD, the specials remastered box... I'm always satisfied ! The Beatles, Steely Dan / Donald Fagen, Santana, Toto, Billy Joel, Pink Floyd, America... all these groups or artists are to be rediscovered in multichannel and remix thanks to CDJapan !!

I've been a customer of CDJapan for more than 10 years and I was able to get a lot of great items that I wouldn't have been able to get elsewhere. I mostly purchase books in japanese language but occasionally I buy figures as well. The items are carefully packaged and everything arrives in excellent condition.
The customer service is excellent, I get all my answers and solutions from them.

I have ordered CD's, DVD's and BluRay's from CD Japan for many years and they've always been well packaged even with the free bonuses. Using a courier such as DHL, they arrive swiftly (usually 2-3 days) and are always my first go-to store for any purchase from the artists I listen to from Japan.

So my nendoroid came out damaged with clear marks on the hair. I asked for a refund but was not possible because I "payed with credit card" instead they could only give me 1000 points for an item I payed 7000+ jpy yen for... worst experience ever... ;;;;
Been a loyal customer for so many years and I feel terrible to give them 1 star... but there's nothing I can do about it when they give me such a terrible experience... :( 1000 points is not enough for the damage given...

The company has always had poor customer service, but it has finally gotten bad enough for me to write this review. I ordered over $1000 worth of items around 3 years ago and never got any of the items because of "COVID". I finally got a shipping notification yesterday, but since I moved I needed to change my address. They refused to change the address since I had changed countries. Further, they refused to refund me anything but store credit. The customer service agents were very rude about it and actually originally told me they wouldn't even cancel the order (after saying I wanted to cancel the order they replied "Hello, We leave the order as it is." After getting them to finally cancel the orders, they said they would only give me store credit. I asked very politely if they would be decent enough to refund my bank account and they flat out ignored my request. I was forced to take the credit, but they gave me ~33% of what they owed me! I'm still in the process of dealing with the rude customer service representative.

Avoid this business like the plage because, if there are issues, customer service will go out of its way to be as unhelpful as possible. There are other places to buy Japanese items like Playasia and YesAsia, where you will get treated way better and have a much better selection of items.

A quality company, excellent customer service, top quality packing and packaging. Shipping according to your preferences. Excellent promotions.
