I wanted to share our experience with Central Moves, who recently undertook the task of relocating my parents after they had spent 50 years in the same property. Understandably, this was a daunting prospect for them. However, thanks to Central Moves, the process was smooth and well-organized.
Firstly, the schedule details were clearly laid out for us well in advance, ensuring we knew exactly what to expect on moving day. The team in the office were incredibly helpful, promptly addressing any queries we had, which provided a great deal of reassurance.
On the day of the move, the crew that turned up were exemplary. They were polite, kind, and highly efficient, which made a potentially stressful situation much easier to manage. Their professionalism and dedication were evident as they went above and beyond to ensure everything was completed to the highest standard. We are so grateful for their hard work and supportive attitude throughout the entire process. They are indeed a remarkable asset to Central Moves, and their efforts have left a lasting positive impression on us.

My latest experience with Central Moves was one of the most seamless I have ever had. Given the significant amount of belongings I needed to move, the process took three full days, and with so many things that could potentially go wrong, the level of stress was high. However, the team at Central Moves handled everything with exceptional professionalism. From start to finish, the move was well-coordinated, smooth, and virtually stress-free. The only minor issue was a small cactus being damaged during packing, but this was a small hiccup in an otherwise excellent experience.

I would especially like to commend Glenn and Mark for their remarkable work. They demonstrated an impressive level of responsibility and attention to detail, ensuring that all my belongings were packed and transported with the utmost care. Mark, in particular, was like a machine—working almost nonstop. Their professionalism, combined with their friendly and positive attitude, truly made a difference.

It’s often difficult to recommend a removal company, as there’s usually something that goes wrong, but I highly recommend Central Moves to anyone in need of a reliable, efficient, and courteous service.

The moving team were incredibly professional and thoughtful throughout the whole moving process. The initial survey was thorough and considered and allowed time for me to pack and prepare for the move more effectively .

On the day, the moving team were professional and thoughtful making what can be a very stressful day, smooth and trouble free. They anticipated and understood problems of getting out of my old and then into my home with ease and always ensured I was informed and comfortable.

What can be one of the hardest and most demanding of days was made much easier knowing I had such a competent and understanding team and I am confident in recommending them whole heartedly.

Very sympathetic to my little 'wobbles' whilst loading up my belongings in the vans. Respected the new property and put all our stuff in the correct rooms. Would highly recommend.

Cannot rate Central Moves highly enough. From reaching out to Shaq and Ash in the office to arrange a short notice flat emptying, to meeting the team (Alfie and Reece) on the day of the move - everything was handled professionally. the team were friendly, polite, considerate, careful and the whole experience was faultless. I found the pricing to be fair too. Thanks to all and I would definitely recommend and use them again in future.

The whole process was super easy, we had a video call to go through the whole property to understand what was moving, the office team were always happy to answer any small question ahead of the move. The cherry on the cake were the removal team on the day, all three guys were extremely friendly and made the move really enjoyable, took loads of the stress away and really cared for our items. I would 100% recommend the team at Central Moves and would happily use them again.

Were willing to fit us in with only a weeks notice for a fairly long distance move from Mid Devon to West Sussex, thereby saving our bacon! The guys worked quickly both ends, were patient & friendly. Clearly knew what they were doing, wrapped some glass shelves which they felt may have otherwise suffered. We had no breakages or damage as everything was well protected on the lorry. Everything went where we specified. Highly recommend this company.

I would like to thank all at Central Moves for making my recent move from London to Wales so easy. The office arranged all needed to be done well in advance. However, I have to give a special big THANK YOU to Andy and his team who packed, stored and carried everything down 3 flights of stairs (no lift) with not one complaint. Andy and team were BRILLIANT, very professional, quick, helpful, polite and friendly. They really went above and beyond.

Cental Moves were recommended to me as the best people to do a big move from East Sussex to Lincolnshire. They were so accommodating, squeezing us in at short notice.
