Good customer service and value
Reasonably priced LP especially factoring in free postage. Order and delivery updates were timely. Album sent quickly and as you'd hope, but don't always get with retailers, a proper professional album mailer. Now on my list of retailers to check when I want something. Recommended

Poor comms and first experience
As per Gareth Pugh's review, I had a similar experience.
I had ordered 5 CD albums off Chalkys as I wanted to get back into listening to physical media. The next day I received an email stating they are refunding me for one CD that is out of stock. Great start but here's a 20% off code...
Days went by and the rest of the order had not shifted so I used some competitors who delivered other CD's in just a few days. I still hadn't received my order and the status hadn't been updated so I looked at their Google reviews and was surprised to find a lot of folks with the same experience.
I then emailed Chalkys asking for a full refund. I immediately received an automated reply and then a few hours later an email stating my order had been shipped. I eventually got my order in a battered padded envelope but I just wished I'd seen sense and shopped at the high street instead... I'll look elsewhere from now.

I've pre-ordered Blu rays before with Amazon and was made to wait after the release date before delivery, but Chalkys were brilliant. It was in my hands and in my player just prior to the release date. It was received completely undamaged and it was priced right too. I couldn't be happier with their service, thank you.

After placing an order
After placing an order, the funds were immediately withdrawn from my card. Within the hour my order had been cancelled as apparently they had mis sold it at the wrong price. The item was a CD for £14.98, the cheapest price I had seen online, but not ridiculously low. The refunds was not returned with the same speed as it was withdrawn. I was offered a 20% discount on my next purchase, hence 2 not 1 star review

You had one job. Ship the item safely to me. You used the thinnest possible plastic envelope with no bubble wrap or protection OF ANY KIND. As a result, the slipcover is beat up to shit and my brand new item looks like an acceptable-rated item on eBay, right on arrival. BRAVO 👏
