Horrible service

Horrible service. We were told when ordering windows would come in about 4-6 weeks. Then when they measured turned into 6-8 weeks. Mind you this was 5 days later. Then we sent probably 2 dozen emails over the course of 5 months trying to get updates with no response. Then we finally threatened legal action next thing you know our windows are in and ready to be installed. Literally 4 days later after our threat. Then comes the install, 1 window ordered wrong, 5 screens damaged, sliding glass door screen was so bent the installers were jumping on it in my driveway trying to bend back. The handle fell off immediately when my son touched it. Every window also has caulk slopped all over it. Several other issues but getting nitpicking. Overall do not purchase from champion I have never regretted a purchase more.

Sales Presentation for Patio Enclosure

Scheduling an in-home visit was very easy. The Sales rep, Jonas C, was very informative, patient, and knowledgeable about Champion products. He was not pushy like many salespeople typically are, and took the time to answer our many questions about the upcoming project. We look forward to the project being completed in as impressive a fashion by the other individuals that will be involved in the overall process. Excellent Salesperson!

Great Sales Representative …

Mark Watkins took time to listen to my concerns, showed me good options within my budget, and gave me all the information I wanted. I was particularly impressed with the comparison of pure vinyl material that Champion uses versus the aggregate from other companies. We are looking forward to installation!

Champion installed eight windows in our…

Champion installed eight windows in our house and we were very pleased with the quality and appearance of the windows. The triple pane windows have drastically decreased the outside noise and the UV heat that comes through the windows. The crew that installed the windows (Carlos and Allen) were very professional, did a great job, and cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend Champion Windows of Lexington if you are going to replace your current windows and ask for Carlos and Allen to be the crew to install them.

Completely satisfied customer …

The sales process was straight forward and low pressure, very easy. The wait for the new windows was reasonable. The installers were professional and did great work. They had to replace a couple of exterior trim boards, they matched the current trim perfectly. (Of course, it was on us to prime and paint the new trim pieces) The new windows look great. We have no complaints. It was a very smooth process for us, and we couldn't be happier with the result.

Support after Installation

The salesperson spent several hours detailing the product and the installation process. I appreciated the time he spent but never heard from him again once the contract was signed (he said he would be following up after installation was completed to make sure all went well; it didn't).
The installation crew did a great job with demo, installation and cleanup. Very professional. 3 screens were damaged in shipment and a followup visit was scheduled. Tech came out and fixed 2 screens onsite but 3rd one was shipped from the factory and built wrong (after we waited 6 weeks). Tech apologized and reordered another replacement. Said 4 to 6 more weeks. Has been over 6 weeks and no contact. I called customer service several times but they were less than interested in helping me. Was only told that the factory was 3 or 4 weeks behind.
I like the product but the communication with customer service leaves a lot to be desired...

Champion Window Review

I would like to thank Colt Youngblood for his time and overview involving potential window replacements.

Colt gave us all the different options and also gave us the best discount rates available at the time. I believe Champion Windows makes a great quality product and I would trust Colt with the project.

We learned a lot about not only the windows, but the warranty, the cost among all the different types/options. At this time we don’t have level of funds necessary to jump into it, but we now know the cost and can make sure we save/prepare in order to gain the necessary replacements.

Buyer beware, ColoradoSprings/Pueblo

The entire process has been a nightmare!
We ordered replacement windows and doors when Champion ran their special, buy 2 get 2, in March 2024. First our front door arrived, sometime in May. All seemed well until job was completed and we noticed they had the wrong hardware. We called our rep and needless to say, he marked the wrong one when we were ordering and would not own up to his mistake. We decided we liked what they had brought and had them put it on. About a week later we had a really bad wind and rain storm and noticed there was a gap between the door and the new trim. This allows wind, light and rain to get in. Called our sales rep again and also spoke with the installation manager and a service writer to have someone come fix the problem. It is now Aug. 4, 2024 and we have gotten nothing but lip service from all three entities. In June the rest of our order arrived.
Surprise surprise... My picture window did not have the prairie grid we ordered nor was the bathroom window obscured for privacy. The sales rep rushed at the end of his presentation to fill out the contract and missed many things or just plain got them wrong because he was in a hurry to get to his next appointment. We also had a window show up with the glass completely smashed. They were supposed to replace sash 3 weeks ago
and no one ever showed up. Our patio door was 3 1/2" to short on the side and 2 1/2" to short from the top.
We refused it and had to wait almost two months to receive the replacement.
I have made multiple calls to see when we could expect someone to repair our front door, to no avail.
Finally on the 29th of July our patio door arrived and was installed. When the installer arrived I asked if he had our sash which the install manger guaranteed me would also be installed that day. I also asked if he was going to fix the front door, which install manager said he’d do. He told me he knew nothing about the sash and he’d look at the door but would not repair it since it wasn’t his mistake to begin with and it was not on his work order. I don’t blame him. I would not want to fix someone else’s mistake either. But he did say he would call his manager and ask that he bring the sash to be replaced. Well guess what they couldn’t find it. Installer said manager would reach out to me that afternoon to resolve the matter. He never did. So I called him. He guaranteed me he was going in the warehouse to personally put eyes on it and would call me back at 8 am the next day, July 30, 2024. I never received a call.
So I called and left a message as I did again the next day. I have heard nothing . He completely ghosted me.
So I called our sales rep who is now the store manager for north Colorado Springs. He has ghosted me as well. I have not heard anything from the service dept about fixing our front door either.
Champion Windows and Doors has left such a bad taste in our mouth with their
unprofessionalism that I could not in good faith recommend them to anyone.
Also don't be dooped by their red heat lamp trick. Their windows do get warm to the touch and retain heat when the sun shines on them.
The only positive thing I can say about the whole dreadful experience is that our
window installer's and our patio door installer as well as the crew that did the stucco repairs were great. The rest of them, mostly management leave a lot to be desired. They need to keep in mind leadership reflects attitude.
Note: we were told that the guy that did the final measurements screwed up
so many orders he was fired because he cost the company hundreds of thousands of dollars in mistakes.
So beware if you live in southern Colorado and Springs is your regional store. For the amount of money we spent to have our entire home redone there should not have been this many mistakes or issues if you're dealing with honest, reputable people.

Finally got an appointment to have them fix the FRONT DOOR. Service rep shows up and his work order says back sliding door. So he does not have the proper materials to do the job. So not only have they wasted our time but his too! I think my husband’s head was ready to explode. My heart is going 100 mph! We are just dumbfounded by the level of incompetence! Unbelievable!
Now we have to wait for the Service Dept to reach out to us AGAIN. Last time it only took 3 months.
Please please please do yourself a favor avoid Champion Windows and Doors like the plague if you live in Colorado!!!

Pressure to commit!

I did not like the pressure put on me to make an immediate decision right now. We felt the pressure and once the enormity of the cost sank in, it was too late. While I have "buyer's remorse" let's see how the finished product looks....
