I wanted to buy a scarifier/aerator for my lawn and I used the chat service on the Cheap Mower website. I engaged with a gentleman called James, who was most helpful and responsive to all of my questions.

Based on his recommendation, I bought a Cobra SA32E. It arrived promptly, was very easy to put together and I was keen to try it immediately. I scarified my lawns and the process was fantastic. What a great piece of kit! It was so effortless, effective and easy! The machine more or less took me for a walk!

I can't wait to try the aeration blade in a few weeks!

Lovely liaising with a family run business too, who share a passion for lawns!

Ordered a lawnmower back in February, on the website it said the item was pre-order and I would get it in March. We’re a week away from May and I still don’t have the item. I have emailed them multiple times to ask when I can expect it and have been told “in 10 days”, “next Monday” but these dates come and go and I’m still none the wiser on when I’ll actually get it.
It now feels like they’re just kicking the can down the road and don’t actually know when I will get the item and just palming me off with made up dates.

Excellent service from start to finish with incredibly helpful team when I couldn't get the chainsaw to work properly on initial setup.

I ordered a mower on March 20 but was contacted a few days later and was told it was out of stock. On ringing the sales team I was offered a more expensive mower but at a reduced price to compensate me for my first choice being out of stock. The mower arrived two days later and I was very satisfied.

Unfortunately, the pull cord broke the second time I used the mower. When I rang the company I was immediately reassured, by James, that everything would be done to get the mower back up and running. James arranged for a replacement part to be sent and it arrived the following day. It was easy to fit and the mower is now repaired.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Cheapmowers to anyone looking to buy a mower. Really excellent website and customer service.

I recently bought a lawn tractor and a few other items from Cheapmowers. Not only were they very competitive on price, but their service was fantastic. I spoke to Richard before buying, who was very knowledgeable and specialised in what I was buying - he gave some great advice so I could settle on the right model. Richard helped me again when I had a couple of questions after the lawn tractor arrived. Unfortunately, one item didn't arrive in the delivery, but when I called up this was quickly dealt with by Angela and the item was shipped the same day.
I couldn't be happier.

I recently bought a Cobra lawnmower from Cheapmowers.com. The model I chose has a push button starter as well as the standard ripcord. Unfortunately the machine would only start via the cord. I contacted the service department at Cheapmowers.com and spoke to a very helpful team member called James who suggested a possible cure and forwarded a YouTube video to assist me. This did not resolve the problem so I contacted James again. We concluded that the issue was a faulty battery. James contacted Cobra and arranged a replacement which I received less than 24 hours later. I fitted the new battery and the mower started first time.
I am very impressed with how my issue was resolved by Cheapmowers.com.
Sometimes problems can arise with online purchases but the mark of a company is how they respond and rectify subsequent difficulties.
Happily I can report that Cheapmowers.com passed this test with flying colours!
I would definitely recommend this company and would not hesitate in using them again.

Excellent service from this company. My path group bought a Sherpa Roughcutter from Cheapmowers and the experience was first class. I made a request that delivery be delayed so I could arrange safe storage for the machine and Angela couldn't have been more helpful in arranging this. The chap who delivered the roughcutter was also extremely helpful and pleasant. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Ordered a mower from this crowd earlier on today. Within about 2 hours I get a generic email saying my order had been refunded - no explanation, no phone call…nothing. I see common courtesy is lost on this lot.

Very helpful as battery we received was dead,phoned and spoke to James and problem was dealt with immediately relacement received within 24hours.What one calls great service.Will have no problem to buy from them again

Don’t question what may appear an uninspiring and generic “cheapmowers.com” company name. I wondered initially searching online whether this could be a kosher company, so I did some research before purchasing. They are in fact a well-established family business and I found some great TrustPilot reviews. Not only that, but “cheapmowers.com” did indeed work out cheaper than other suppliers.

I must complement James, Assistant Manager, for the attention and advice he provided before I made my purchase - a Cobra/Honda engine lawnmower. There were a number of similar priced options, and James narrowed it down to this model after carefully considering my lawn size, gradient of slopes, etc. It is a great machine and would highly recommend it, and the fantastic professional service from James.

After purchase I had cause (my fault after first use 😩) to go back to cheapmowers.com for a replacement blade. I had the pleasure of dealing with Angela who once again went over and above to ensure the correct replacement part number. She swiftly identified it and arranged priority delivery.
Overall a fantastic company to deal with. I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend this family business without hesitation. Many thanks!

Really good companies don’t just look after customers during the sale, they look after customers if there is a problem. I had a battery for my mower fail unexpectedly, one year after purchase. I wrote to Cheapmowers hoping that they might help. A lad called James came back very quickly. He apologised (even though it wasn’t his fault) and took immediate ownership of the problem. He contacted the manufacturer and secured a replacement battery for me. Excellent service, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I had a defective battery from my EGO mower and they asked me a few simple questions to establish what was wrong with the battery (lights on battery and charger etc). I had an email back within a couple of hours say that they would replace the battery and a new one arrived within 2 days. Excellent customer service.

We purchased a Cobra mower from Cheapmowers.com. When they didn’t have the model we wanted in stock, they offered me the larger model at the same price. Unfortunately the mower arrived damaged, but the company were very quick in sorting out a replacement. Throughout the process they were courteous and friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

The mower arrived, but would only start once on the battery, which appeared to be faulty, no fault of Cheap mowers. Upon reporting this to them, it was replaced with a stronger battery, and the problem was solved. The sales person was very helpful, and I was very pleased with service.

It has been a great experience to deal with this company. We had been looking for and researching Ride on Mowers for some time when we saw the advertisement for Cheapmowers. Their prices were excellent and a good variety to chose from.
We had lots of questions however ….. I cannot fault the patience of James who answered NUMEROUS emails promptly and knowledgeably.
We decided on the Cobra LT86MRL .
The order was made over the phone and completed very easily. James promised delivery within 3-5 working days . As there was a Bank Holiday coming up we were expecting a delay. There was no delay at all .
The tractor mower was delivered on the Friday. On inspection we noticed the bracket for the grass box had been damaged in transit. As it was now 5pm I didn’t expect to get through by phone so emailed the issue . Within 10 minutes I had a phone call from James , apologising (though not his fault ) and ensuring me that he had contacted Cobra and replacement brackets were being sent urgently. They arrived the day after the Bank Holiday! BRILLIANT customer service
We are VERY SATISFIED with this mower can’t fault it !
Nothing but praise for this family business ! For future purchases we won’t be looking anywhere else !

Please shop elsewhere, my experience was dreadful. I bought an item presented by cheapmowers as a brushcutter. It did not perform as a brushcutter, and is more suited to grass cutting according to other companies websites and the machine's deck data label. The item therefore is not as described by cheapmowers.
I tried to return the machine under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Cheapmowers don't seem to think this law applies to them! They responded with incorrect and /or irrelevant counter-claims to the point their emails seemed surreal. After 3 months, 30 emails exchanged and an 8.5 minute video, as they rejected photos, the most they would offer is to take the machine back at my expense, for them to determine how much of my money they would return. Based on other reviews here and what cheapmowers wrote to me, I don't believe I would have had a full refund, which is not compliant with the law regarding purchased items that are not as described. I gave up trying to get a full refund from them and used the charge-back facility available through my bank card provider. Cheapmowers then tried to reclaim the charge-back, even though at that point the machine was no longer in my possession, it having been returned to manufacturer at cheapmowers behest. Fortunately for me, my bank stood their ground.
The whole experience with cheapmowers has been dreadful.
Small businesses are often knowledgeable and helpful this was not my experience here. I would urge them to learn about the laws regarding online sales and comply.
