DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE, scammers and crooks. Hide behind 2 websites, landline always has a temporary fault, don't reply to email after email. They will sell you a faulty TV then refuse to help you. I purchased a TV in June, all fine. Purchased another in July (I have twins) didn't set the TV up until November. On the first day, worked ok for the first half hour, then got lines on the screen. Turned it off. Tried it the next day and was fine again. We noticed that when connected to PC half the screen was yellowish. After an hour or so lines appeared again. Boxed it back up. This TV has been out of its box for 2 days. Contacted them at least 5 times via their online chat and email, eventually got a response asking for photos (which I had already sent them). Eventually offered to repair, I wasn't happy with paying £280 for a TV with this fault. They refused a refund. Contacted Citizens Advice in the end. Long story short, 6 months later, I have had this TV assessed after reading previous reviews stating that TV's other people had purchased had older TV parts inside, some weren't even the same brand as the TV. I felt I had been scammed. This company feels they don't need to abide with the Consumer Rights Act. They are refusing to do anything for me now I have a report saying it has a faulty LCD screen. Other people have had to take them to the small claims court. Looks like I will have to do the same. I will be contacting Citizens Advice so they can pass all this to Trading Standards. All this while fighting cancer and a twin without his birthday present.

Just don’t bother with this company,you…

Just don’t bother with this company,you probably won’t get the TV you ordered,they won’t contact you regarding delivery,they are most likely to have sold the TV to someone else,then when you ask for a refund you will be waiting weeks.Absolutely hopeless company.

Dodgy company AVOID

Wish I have read the reviews before I placed my order. Its been 4 weeks still not received my refund. Lies after lies. Nowadays refund takes about a day to hit the bank if processed.
Now I have instructed my bank to recover my money.
I think they take peoples order and cancel the order after a week and hold on to people money to run their business.
What a dodgy company AVOID AVOID AVOID

Avoid like the plague

I purchased a TV from this company on line, confirmation and payment came through and I was told the courier provider would contact me to arrange a time for delivery. Having paid 20 quid delivery I thought that would be the next day 2 days maybe. Anyway 5 days on no contact no emails no nothing so I called them to see what was going on.
The guy on the phone basically had little interest when I explained that I'd not heard anything and then he started to lie. He started telling me that the TV range was out of stock, I said how can that be it was an individual TV with specific description about having no stand and a small scratch on the casing, what you mean is you took my money then sold the TV in your show room and then my money can sit in your account making interest for you until i contact you. Then he said we did email you (don't make my blood boil pal) I'm sat with my emails open mate, no email since the confirmation of payment. He just said do you want a refund? No apologies for wasting my time and lieing, not even the mention of would you like to chose another TV (because the only TV similar was 50 more) we'll foot the difference it was our mistakelike most reputable companies would.
Absolutely abysmal don't use this company on line you will have nothing but trouble.

Slow refund and Awful customer service

STAY AWAY, Rather buy from FB Marketplace at this rate and gamble at it tha buying from this website.

I’ve given you PLENTY of time for this refund to be received.
I’ve contacted you to arrange maybe a purchase of a different TV paying the difference.

No positive reply.

Now I’ve contacted my Bank and an Investigation will be made.
At this rate, 2 weeks has happened since I purchased the TV.

The last time I contacted an Agent he told be the branch CheapTV may be slower or different than your main branch, Unfortunately for you, my dear Liars.
AFTER I PURCHASED through CheapTVs, I ALSO checked the TV I purchased on your main website and it was still showing as in stock ( I checked out of fear that maybe I would have found it cheaper through your main website, but it was exactly the same price and images... and again, YES, it was showing as available or In stock.

and as I’m not just the average customer, I will make sure this event goes to all your social medias and even TrustPilot, As my dissatisfaction goes beyond compensation, I highly doubt you would find a way to compensate me for this, I’m stuck waiting for the refund while being 2 weeks without a TV in my living room.

As a cherry on top of the cake, the call I made today suggestion to get a different TV, the lad just told me to order it, and I AGAIN ASKED if it is in stock, then I asked him how can he confirm, and he couldn’t, your sales people even your CHEAPTV “MANAGER” the last lad I talked to before purchasing the TV. Acknowledge it being available.
why that bad habit of assuring something is in STOCK? They don’t care that this event happens again.
Its sad to see that a website “electronicworld” that started on the 9th of May 2008 or “cheaptvs” that started on the 22nd of July 2006 have such a HORRIBLE system, and customer service. I mean even your emails aren’t signed by the person who wrote it…

I sincerely hope this somehow affects your years of reputation and sales hard enough for you to improve your customer service quality and sales methods, as well as your System/database infrastructure.

I bought a graded 55" TV and am more…

I bought a graded 55" TV and am more than pleased. It is exactly as described on the web page and overall the service has been great. I am so pleased in fact, that I am going to buy another 4K TV for the in-laws. Just read the descriptions and know what you are buying.

Not returning refund

They cancelled an order, and said they would refund the money in 3-5 working days. It's been 14 days and still no refund. They are not helpful at all. It's a shame because I have purchased from there previously with no issues, but them not returning my own money to me has completely tainted my experience with them. I have been in contact with my bank and they have said they cannot claw the money back because it is still pending with the merchant. So their excuse of it being the banks problem is inaccurate. I just want my money back!!

Aftercare not a clear picture...

I have ordered 2 tv's from them, one has a dead pixel and the other no remote control.

Have been emailing now every week or so for a few months and have not had any luck.

Update - 22/02 after using this platform have received a replacement, which I can't fault, amended to 4/5.

Very happy customer

I have bought several TVs from this company, and on each occasion they have been marvellous. The TVs are exactly what they say they are - excellent value. Customer service, deliveries etc. have all been very efficient and helpful, I couldn't complain in any way, and would use them again.

I couldn’t praise this company more

I couldn’t praise this company more, first of all after buying the jvc 55” tv, the manager give me a call to state that they would be posting it in 2 days and that the couriers would be in touch then a text from the couriers stating it would be delivered in two days then a call stating it would be delivered between 1.30 and 2.00 and hey presto it was !!! , a two man team (Harjit and Kamal) kindly brought the tv in ,unpacked for inspection and everything was fine , a real good buying experience 100% satisfied and above all l saved a lot on the purchase price.

Absolutely appalling company my partner…

Absolutely appalling company my partner ordered a tv online from here 2days ago but has had no confirmation email. So we have contacted them today via telephone to be told that the Tv my partner had already bought and paid for has been sold to another customer in their showroom. I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing from this company to avoid as you will more than likely receive nothing have to deal with rude staff and wait days to get your money back
