Questioning the pharmacist is not allowed
Every time I try to fill my ‘Amitriptyline’ scrip there’s a problem. Every time. So tonight when it was rejected again, I checked every scrip I have because if the date says it can be picked up, after the 18th oct and the pharmacy says no its to soon, then I must have a second script I’m unknowingly using. I don’t, I only have one. So I went back wanting to sort this out because I’m sick of there always being a problem. The pharmacist explained that the date on the scrip isn’t the date it can be pick up after, there is a secret date. I had to ask multiple times to be told this secret date. Why is the date such a secret? Is it because you don’t intend to honour it? Then when I ask her to write it on the scrip, wanting her to do it, so they can’t claim I made it up. She refused. I asked multiple times, she still refused. When I asked why she wouldn’t, she said it was because of my attitude. yes by this point I did have an attitude, because from the start of the conversion she refused to answer every question I asked unless there was another customer at the next counter. I am sure that is the only reason she told me this secret date at all. Every time I fill this scrip I’m questioned. It’s like they’re looking for any excuse to not fill it. When my dosage was raised, they tried to refuse it. I had to loudly point out the dosage was higher. What is the problem?
Do NOT go to the Lilydale store
Do NOT go to the Lilydale store - they gave me 56 pills for my prescription instead of 60, told me my doctor wrote it on the prescription (which I know is not true, as it is 60), and made me pay the price for 60 pills.
Avoid this company
Avoid this company. Ordered online for international delivery to Ireland and was told delivery could not be made due to customs issue in Australia - I was not contacted by customs or the company to discuss this having paid international shipping fees and have been told they will now only deliver domestically and no refund or international delivery will be made.
Chemist Warehouse Belmont is the worst…
Chemist Warehouse Belmont is the worst chemist in all of WA. I waited 25 minutes for simple script that cost me $400 and only got it after I complained twice. The staff are rude and unhelpful, did not even offer an apology, they just had a lot of excuses. First time at this store and definitely the last time too.

These guys are an absolute JOKE…wanted to get my partner fragrance as a surprise, found what i wanted, added to my cart, went to checkout, suddenly not in stock and unavailable….OK, no worries, did some research to find a different one, went through same process, same result….1.5 HOURS later after researching other ideas, adding a ton of different fragrances to cart, same result!! I absolutely give up, impossible to give these guys my money….advertising products at 50% off they don’t even have…why? Attract customers under false advertising….I normally buy my prescription through Chemist Warehouse but will now NEVER EVER shop with these %#&@ heads again, thanks for wasting my time!!!! Im so angry

I spent extra on a purchase just so I could receive the free gift advertised in the online catalogue. I did not receive the advertised gift with my order and sent x3 online enquiries with no response. When I called I was told it was in store purchase only but when they checked the catalog they could see it clearly did not state this anywhere. They then cold transferred me to another person who told me a store manager would call me back, this did not happen. So disappointed in the customer service and the false advertising. Now I want a refund but have been told I have to return it by post at my cost. I have already paid extra for it to be delivered.

Albo says he imported skilled Indians to help Australia out
It seems that all the incompetent ones have become pharmacists at Chemist Warehouse
These staff are the rudest most racist staff I have ever encountered that if it wasn’t against the law most people would jump the counter to sort out their rudeness
Thanks Albo we really needed these rude and obnoxious people to make the Australian way of shopping and conversing a nightmare for all of us
Chemist Warehouse was happy to take my…
Chemist Warehouse was happy to take my order & payment immediately but then sent me an email ten minutes later saying they were out of stock for products they allowed me to pay for - and that I would not get a refund for five business days!
Why accept payment when you don’t have the product, for one & secondly, why five business days for a refund?
How much interest are you making from all the unlawful payments you are holding?
Then their website does not allow you access or instruction on how to lodge a complaint, just a Webchat option which is an online form which does not allow a complaint to be mentioned
Never buy through this rubbish site, buy direct from the actual store.
You’ll actually get the product even if it costs extra $$
Another complaint AFCA or the ombudsman will get regarding the poor integrity this company offers
Return or refund
I bought a Gaviscon chewing gum instead of chewable tablets. They would not return it the next day saying the policy has this and that . I had to throw the gum away as I bought the tablet earlier.
Beware of Orders made at Brookvale Outlet Chemist Warehouse
I made a click and collect order yesterday, on line, which was confirmed to my email address.
When I rang the Brookvale, NSW store, they had no record of my order, even though I provided the order number, I had written proof and they had deducted the funds from my PayPal account.
Not only that, it appeared when I attended at the store, they did not even have the product, even though they had assured me during my initial telephone enquiry it was in stock. The store's manager was to suggest I try another store and offered me the phone numbers of some stores in relatively close suburbs.
This morning, when I went online to check my account, low and behold my original order, and order number, had disappeared and my order, under a new order number was being "processed" at another store.
No refund.
This is not the first time I have had problems with the Brookvale (Roger Street Store, which has its entrance in Cross Street - go figure!).
Time and again, if you attempt to place an online click and collect order, they do not have the stock or have lost the order.
Beware. The Brookvale branch is a disaster. Do not think, if you want to save time, order and pay for goods, you will achieve your purpose.
Beware you will not receive your refund
Online order was charged to my credit card and then received an email saying it couldn’t be fulfilled because of stock issue. 4 weeks later and still no refund. Also zero customer service after attempting to request my refund. If I could give zero starts I would. Disgusting service from a large company.
Putting profit above customer consideration
Waited 25 minutes for two medications, when they called my name I was told one was not available. I then had to go to a different chemist and wait another 25 minutes. Surely Chemist Warehouse could have mentioned that one was not available to begin with as I could have taken both scripts to another chemist and only waited once. Normally not a big deal but when in pain, I just wanted to get back to bed.
Apparently the customer doesn’t count
Ordered my items several weeks ago. After an expected delivery 1 1/2 weeks ago the items were returned to chemist warehouse by auspost as they were damaged. I have contacted chemist warehouse three times via online channel and once via phone. Still no answer to any of the online contacts and told over the phone I’d have to wait until the item was returned to them before they could reissue it to me. It’s now been over 24 hours since they received the damaged items back and still no contact. As a customer, I would expect that as soon as they can see that the item is being returned to them through no fault of mine they should have immediately reissued it. Shocking customer service.
Criminals
I have a pen medication mounjaro
The pen jammed up and no longer worked they would not replace the medication..... said it was my fault it didn't work .... the medication cost $540
I will never purchase from them again
Zero customer service .... I was totally ripped off and all I wanted was a replacement ,,, as far as I am concerned they have stolen $540 dollars from me and that makes them criminals
Do not order click and collect and watch your bank account for charges that you have not incurred
Made a click and collect order for partner to pick up as I am in hospital. Order was confirmed and money taken out of my account. Within 2 minutes my order was cancelled and I would have to wait up to 5 days for a refund - 2 weeks later and still no refund after spending a lot of time on the phone to rude and useless “customer service”. Belinda S calling you out. Also, instead of a refund they charged me double for goods they did not have. How can they take money without providing the goods?
Work on your customer care
I placed an online order since the website indicated that the item was in stock, but it took a long time to arrive, and half of the order was later missing.Customer service bounced me around when I tried to resolve it was very pissed by this seeing other reviews i can finally agree that their management is very bad.
The pharmacist was so kind
I have just left, Chemist Warehouse in Drogheda , so much happier , then when I went in. The pharmacist (Sinead) was so helpful. She stood to the side of the counter, in a quiet area, and spoke to me, with such sympathy and support. She answered all my questions and gave me the time I needed. Thank you, Sinead.

Avoid the terrible customer service of Chemist Warehouse
As a Health Care Card holder, I’ve recently reached the PBS Safety Net threshold which allows me and my family to apply for the PBS Safety Net Card for free medicine.
Being a regular customer at Chemist Warehouse, Highpoint Shopping Centre, I presented my medicines purchase records to a female pharmacist with three new prescriptions which were meant to be free of charge.
That stupid/lazy pharmacist not only refused to issue me the card but also convinced me to pay for those three prescription medicine. According to her, the reason was I needed to buy the additional amount of $20 of medicines to be able to apply for the card. That lady usually sounds friendly, but she doesn’t do her job when it comes to good customer service.
I didn’t believe her at the time because I’ve checked the Government website regarding 2025 safety net threshold in advance.
Therefore I went to another Chemist Warehouse in Braybrook and been told by a female pharmacist that she couldn’y issue me the card just because she was too busy by herself but I later found out she was lying as she had a female assistant who was working with her.
Finally I went to a Terry White Pharmacy in Deer Park Shopping Centre where i met an extremely friendly and professional Lady Pharmacist who helped me to process and issue the PBS Safety Net Card straightaway.
The good news was she also told me that I’ve overpurchased approximately the amount of $40 which she helped me to apply for the refund from Medicare at the same time.
