Citizens Debt Relief just negotiated one of my accounts, saving me 50 percent on a 2100.00 dollar debt. Thank you so much citizens and especially Brandon Turner for your great negotiating.

It was ok but I’m stressing because of these fires

I have had the same frustrating experience as the last review describes. I was told all my accounts would be settled in 3 to 4 months. A year and 3 months later and not even the smallest account w/ a debt balance of $1k has been settled. All the while my credit is being negatively impacted. No one has ever reached out to me and the reps lie every time saying the same BS. I have carried out my obligations per the contract Citizens has not. I pay into the reserve account every month and have over $12k in the account for them to negotiate with.

I have been a client for several years. Why so long? Citizens Debt Relief will not settle one account. Every month I get a delinquency report on my credit report. I have sent Citizens a written offer from this last account accepting 50 cents on the dollar (this was the stated goal for Citizens). I have called numerous times. I have completely funded the account. I have completed my obligation per our agreement. Citizens has not. The website talks about all the things you can expect. Trust me, it's not true. If Citizen's will give me 50 cents on the dollar, I will settle the account and move on.

I am reading about these citizens debt relief I am impressed and hoping that it would work for me too

I was told when I signed up it was an easy case and would be resolved by 6 months of on-time payments. I have called every month and I am told it should be resolved this month. Fast forward 8 months, still paying CDR and can't get a return call. On-line, I have waited 90 minutes and no response/ I'm beyond frustrated. My bank says no one from CDR has reached out to them to resolve this debt.

I spoke with CDR about Feb 2024 and everything sounded great and looked great on paper. Fast forward 7 months and the bank has sent me to collections. I assumed CDR had failed to negotiate as I wasn’t kept up to speed of how things are going. After posting this, they reached out immediately and had come to a deal w the banks. Still waiting on a few other things, but my patience did pay off I will say.
