Absolutely horrendous company dealt…
Absolutely horrendous company dealt with a woman called chere wasn't even aware that I would have to pay more out than I got back. Harrassed the life out of me, made an offer to repay had it declined got a county court letter filled it in to send off with my income and expenditure and the money I could afford to pay and today had two bailiffs walk in my home and demand money. So what was a delayed flight to Dublin got refunded £196 yet today had to pay £1800.... absolutely horrendous company financially exploiting people.

I had a call from this company today
I had a call from this company today. I was not going to talk to them as I did not know them but the guy at the other end said not to worry as they do not ask for my banking details, so I continued with the signing process. The supervisor came on the phone to confirm things, asked for my credit card number which I gave; after all that was the card they were putting in a claim for ( or so he said). He then asked for my number on the back of the card, which I refused to give. Throughout the whole conversation he did not say I would have to pay any money, so I did not see why I had to give this number, but after reading these reviews, I can see I had a lucky escape. Thanks everyone. Companies like this should be named and shamed in the open so that it protects others.
Contact your CC company for repayment
Same as everyone. I contacted my CC company and got the full amount back within 3weeks. I had to send all the info n emails in but they didn't even argue and I got my money back no fuss!
Sue Campbell
Sham. Can't believe I fell for this. Paid £499 and then they disappeared. No one picks up phones or responds to emails. Tried all routes to find a way through and now had to give up.
Thieves
Thieves! Paid the £499 on my credit card as the deposit (no win, no fee) PPI investigation. They have now gone into administration, I have been chasing my refund for months, no response and starting to look like no hope of getting my money back! So angry, my gut told me not to trust this, but for some reason with Thompson Legal working with them I thought it was legit, big mistake! I will never trust anyone ever again! Does anyone out there have any proof of contract / sign up letter that they received from Theclaimteam? I need all the help I can get!
Thieves!
Thieves! I have been chasing a refund of the £499 I paid them last September because I was supposedly due a large refund of PPI. I was comforted by the fact that the fee was fully refundable if I was not successful, so to me I had nothing to lose. I was informed last month that they had been dissolved and so had my hopes of getting a much needed refund. I am now battling with my credit card provider to issue a Section 75 and try and reclaim the money.
I should have listened to my instinct!!
Disgusting useless robbing company
Disgusting useless robbing company. Like many others i stupidly fell into this companies trap and it's taken nearly 2 years to sort out.
After paying the £499, they told me to send my credit statements in every month and they would send me a cheque, which they did after i sent the statement then called them 5/6 times after a few months they stopped paying the interest as it was policy to settle at the end of the claim.
I heard nothing for months so thought i'd check what was happening, they told me my claim had ended 3 months ago, this lead to a heated argument as to why they didn't contact me to tell me, obviously they refused to answer any questions.
I asked for my £499 they told me to report it to my credit card company as a fraudulent payment to which i refused telling them this had gone on for over 18 months so why would my credit card company believe me.
They then told me it would take 28 days it did not, it took 3 months 127 emails they only replied when i sent an email telling them to have my money ready as i would be at their offices the next to collect it, after that i got my money within 2 weeks. However they refused to pay the interest as it's not their policy even though 3 people told me i would get the money.
Please do not trust them if they owe you money the only way to get it is to threaten them (it's not nice but it works). Good luck to anyone who is steal having to deal with these scumbags
I have had the same experience as many …
I have had the same experience as many others here: duped into paying £499, received no PPI & no refund over a year later, despite many phone calls and promises that I would receive a refund within 2 weeks. I eventually contacted my credit card company who upheld my complaint and refunded me in full. Thank you Barclaycard!
No refund off this company for over 4 months and still waiting and no response to my emails.
this company do not respond to emails. it is very difficult to have telephone contact with them. They have taken over 4 month to credit my account following a PPI calim and I am still waiting for them to return my fee.
The y are linked to Thompson legal company.
Scam
Complete scam. Rang me and told me I'd completed an online form asking me to call them (no, I didn't).
I asked for the URL of the form I supposedly completed. They said claimteamdotcom which just gives you a site under construction notice.
Asked caller (Young bloke, heavy Welsh accent) who gave them my name and number, he kept saying I filled out an online form.
I asked him for his company's address, he hung up on me.
I 1471'd the number, number 07937921033. I rang it, got recorded message saying "Number no longer in use".
Also rang on 01904 393013 (number people on this site have been given), got recorded message saying not taking calls.
Interesting thing is, they had my name, number & crucially the name of the company where I did have an injury nine months ago. The only people I've given that info to were the National Accident Helpline a few weeks ago, so they must have sold my info on.
Update: They rang me again. They asked for £3,500 to 'start my claim'. I recorded the call.
Can anyone help at all
Can anyone help at all, I was another stupid person who signed up with this company. I am waiting to get my money back, I have tried the e-mail and phone number that someone put on hear but they are not any good. The phone is permanently engaged. Any ideas?
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
This company claim to be regulated by the government what a joke got talked into putting the £499 deposit down I was assured that this was just a deposit and I would get it back within 6 weeks because I got my bank charges back basically they get to keep this money what a rip off led right up the garden path to say that Im fuming is an understatement. ...........and if you do get through to them they are still telling me its getting refunded out and out liars and scam merchants.
The False Claim Team
Had a call from this company, to be honest I've had so many calls from companies like this and cut them all short but I figured I was maybe being a bit hasty so I listened to what the young lady had to say before being passed to one of their 'experienced advisors' because my claim was anticipated to be in excess of £5k. Before giving personal details I insisted on calling them back to verify their legitimacy and then they called me back again. Against everything my gut was telling me I agreed to proceed after some thinking time (when I did as much Googling as I could) and a few further calls with a further reduced fee. I signed up, gave credit card details and felt very uneasy despite the staff I spoke with having been very pleasant. When the pack arrived I saw a testimonial referencing Thomson Legal and something from my previous Googling rang a bell - bit more Googling and I could see both businesses were registered to the same address and there were very negative reviews against the other companies name. I emailed to cancel straight away as I was within the 14 day cooling off period. My email was acknowledged but stated they'd be in contact to finalise. Lo and behold the same 'nice' guy I'd spoken to called to try and dissuade me from cancelling and asked why I wanted to. When I said I felt very uncomfortable and had indicated that I felt that way at the outset he said 'what are you uncomfortable with? Getting a payment for a large sum of money?' So I just said yes and he said 'well it'll be up to 28 days before you get your money', I said that was fine I still wanted to cancel. I waited the full 28 days and allowed a bit extra for Christmas bank holidays and what do you know? No refund... I rang and was told they'd tried to refund it but were having difficulty with their gateway so were unable to credit me and all I needed to do was ring my card provider to sort a charge back (or something) and they'd credit me straight away then claim the money from them which she said 'obviously we'll pay them back straight away'. I told her that sounded like absolute nonsense and they would have to refund me not my card provider and she just said that was the only option, they didn't have the option to refund the card. I was livid and it only confirmed my original gut feeling that something was off (I've berated myself so many times for even entertaining the first call - I never usually speak to them!!). I rang the card provider who agreed that what I'd been told was utter rubbish and that the company would have to refund me but I said there must be another option as the company had made it very clear that they wouldn't be paying me back. My card provider raised a claim for me and credited me pending the outcome of the claim, they then rebilled me due to sending me the wrong form to complete... all the while, months later they've still got my money and weeks have passed with me out of pocket, then after submitting another form I was credited by my card provider again pending an outcome from the company. That's the last I heard, I have no clue whether my card provider reclaimed the money from them, so far they haven't advised the claim was unsuccessful and I'm currently not out of pocket. It took a long time and even then I only got credited by my card provider, I'd be amazed if the card provider received the money back from these bandits. I have learned my lesson and will never engage in conversation with these types of people again!! Only wish I'd seen all these reviews last December but I guess it takes a while for these things to come to light. They'll be set up under a new name now doing the same thing to more hardworking, innocent people.
The Claim Team
The Claim Team are a fraudulent company. My experience is similar to lots of other people's. The company took my money upfront claiming l would receive a huge payout. A year later l still haven't received my deposit of £499.
It's a disgrace! The fraud squad should investigate them ASAP!
AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!
AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!! Totally poxy company and a robbing waste of time topped off with useless customer care. They just keep your money for as long as it takes for them to admit there are no claim refunds against your name and accounts. Took them from October 2016 to June 2017 before they admitted defeat and said they will refund my money (in another 28 days). They never made a call to me to update me on the claim process. I had to call them every time. They start by cold calling then spend up to an hour selling you a PPI dream before asking for £499 to process your claim; so naturally told them where to go. They then phone back every day for a week with an increasingly discounted offer, before finally agreeing to do without any up front cost "because my claim was potentially very large at around £16,000" so they would take the risk.... more bullsh*t ! The are useless at picking up calls to the 0333 support number so expect at least 20 minutes of hold music. The whole experience was just a total waste of time and effort - will see if my money is returned. AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!
