Just Liars

Just Liars
Like others posting here I have struggled to make contact with these people and on those rare occasions I actually do they just lie through their teeth .... cheque is in the post; waiting on manager to authorise and so on.
These people are scum.
I am going to try and track down the directors and seek redress directly as this mob are plain crooks.

Go after the directors and shareholders

I have just read everyone else's reviews and my experience is no different. Having established, over a period of months, that I was owed no money, (the last confirmation coming from ME chasing one of the credit card companies a job that TheClaimTeam were supposed to be doing) I started my attempt to retrieve my money. They never answered the phone, ignored my emails to their support email address (I think the website may now have been taken down???). So I went onto Companies House and found out who the directors are of the business and its shareholders. There is only one director, a couple of others resigned as directors however some of those directors are involved with some of the shareholding companies. So I wrote to those Directors and shareholders informing them of my plight and telling them that if they didn't pay me back the money they owed me I would take legal action. My letters were sent 1st Class signed for and sent to the registered addresses of those listed directors on Companies House (free information) I also paid for some further info from 192.com to ensure that I was sending my letters to right addresses. Funnily enough I was contacted almost immediately to be informed that they were would pay up. I would provide the info but I'm not sure of the legal implications.

Trust the Reviews!

Currently going thought the exact same experience as all other negative reviewers here. Was promised just before Christmas based on my history I had a very high chance of being owed PPI - claim unsuccessful (which is fine) but I am now 3 months down the line and still no refund! I was originally told a cheque was in the post which has never appeared and on every subsequent call, I have been cut off. Last hope is to contact my CC company directly and hopefully they can actually help get my refund. Fingers crossed! AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE CON-ARTISTS.

Do not under any circumstance use this company!

Have had to contact my cc company to get my fee back, in January after a year I called to get money back was told 28 days, phoned after 28 days to end up speaking to the most obnoxious vile man , who claimed to be a manager, who was abrupt from the start of the call, talked over me, constantly then told me repeatedly he was going to terminate the call as I was aggressive... no I want my money back and you have scammed me! I told him I would be quiet and he laughed and said ' we'll see! Having anxiety, this situation has made me feel ill, I even cried! I wish I had never heard of this company. Just hope my cc company can help me.

Absolutely DREADFUL untrustworthy and rude

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. They STILL have my money after 9 months despite no PPI being found and my claim being closed. I spoke with them on the 23rd of February and was told my refund would be processed within 72 hours which never happened. When chasing up my claim I was crying on the phone to them explaining this was putting me in serious financial difficulties and they hung up on me TWICE. Also despite being assured they would refund any interest charged I am told I need to get a DSAR report from my credit card company to prove the interest (which costs me an additional charge!). They are not answering their phones or emails. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

worse customer experience i have ever received

i was cold called by this company who told me they were pretty confidant that with the number of credit cards i had had in the past i would receive PPI. initially i did not want to proceed but they rang me four or five times the same day pressuring me to go ahead. I said if was free i would . Then i had a guy called Miles ring to say that they would take a payment of £499 off my credit card to cover the searches but if the claim was unsuccessful i would receive the refund within three days . This telephone conversation was also recorded by the claim team. i said no as i was unhappy about paying this and was also worried about the interest accumulating on the £499. However he persisted telling me i was worrying unnecessarily and the claim would take 80 days at the most and they would also refund the interest. he even sent a letter of agreement to view which said i would receive a refund. Eventually i agreed but was not happy. i wish i hadn't been so gullible as needless to say it took 7 months plus and i did not have any PPI. I checked my credit card statement for the refund and it had not been processed so i rang them. They informed me that due to their problems with their payment machines they were unable to process the refund for a month and the lady i spoke to called Rachel told me to go to my credit card company and raise a dispute and the credit card company would call the money back into my credit card account immediately. she also told me not to send any paperwork to support my dispute as it was unnecessary . Again misled information as i was later told by the credit card company that they needed as much information as possible. This added another couple of weeks onto the process. Eventually i managed to get my refund but there was no refund of the interest. Therefore this company left me out of pocket.. I have since read other reviews stating that other customers have experienced the same issue with the refunds. I wish i had read them before i proceeded.

This company cold call people telling …

This company cold call people telling them that they can get PPI compensation and they can get thousands of pounds back. They ask them to part with £499.00 to start the claim. There is a cooling of period of 14 days. A colleague of mine cancelled his agreement the next day, but they had already taken the money. He was told the money would be back into the account within 28 days it was not. Upon calling again he was told that they were really sorry and the woman had left and they would send a cheque which could take 2 weeks, but then was told it could take up to another 28 WORKING days. He told them this was not acceptable, and was told there was nothing he could do. He told them if he didn't receive the cheque within two weeks he would pass it on, and the operative accused him of threatening. The company would not give any direct answers, they would not supply surnames and were completely dodging giving the money back. Be aware.

Satisfactory

I used this firm for a GP negligence claim and Daniel Finney was my claims advisor. I didn't get the outcome that I want and I couldn't reach him by telephone however they did give me good legal advice via e-mail and letters. Their call-centre team was really nice to me which is why I am giving this firm three stars.
