I stayed at the Clayton Manchester Airport. On the plus side, the hotel is close to the terminals and runs a free shuttle service. The room was clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant w... See more

Simply the BEST
Just come back from the claytons hotel in Bristol and i cannot begin to say how amazing this hotel is. Its beautifully decorated in contemporary style. Spotlessly clean. Food absolutely gorgeous. Great location to harbour and centre. Beautiful building and on a quaint street. Our room which was an accessible room was really big. The staff went above and beyond, so attentive, caring and always asking if everything ok, nothing to much trouble. Best hotel by far. Thankyou 100% to all the staff you made our stay perfect
Leeds - rude and abrupt staff
4 weeks to get a refund as staff had overbooked the room and charged card on numerous occasions.
Unhelpful and downright rude staff.
Female on Friday check in would rather argue I didn’t have a reservation than attempt to rectify the situation when presented with the booking reference. Then phoned down to reception and the same rude female hung up on me when I had complained about the room. Never had such dire service in my life at Leeds, certainly won’t be coming back anytime soon. Get a job you enjoy rather than taking it out on the customer asking basic questions! Seemed to get pleasure in being rude and talking down to other customers too
Clayton Belfast
We stayed at Clayton Belfast for 2 nights. The hotel is not a four star. The phone was covered in dust and out of order. Shower/bath area had black mould and toilet seat was loose.
Pool area no chairs to rest. No cups for the water filter. The Steam room is not up to the regulations. Steam splashed out from the bottom and burned my feet, same had happened 2 others on the same.

I stayed here with a friend of mine a few nights ago at your burlington road hotel and we dealt with Christina who was very professional, curtious and polite, we where looking for a recommendation for somewhere to eat in the city see gave is three suggestions and direcrions to all of them food was amazing and it really made our night at the hotel couldnt thank her enough, we where lucky enough to deal with her upon check out and she remembered us asked how our stay was and did we enjoy our food, she is a real credit to your company , Thanks so much will be staying again for sure.

Beautiful hotel with a fantastic welcome from Karen @ Clayton Hotel Manchester. From stepping through the door as a hen party, no judgements just a great welcome and check in process. The hotel location was perfect and we didn't need to use taxis once! So close to the Gay village on Canal Street but also within easy walking distance of highstreet shops and loads of pubs and restaurants. The rooms were spotless and spacious, with a lovely big TV on the wall, plenty of storage and tea and coffee facilities. We had 4 rooms booked and all 10 guests said they would stay again if in Manchester. Thank you for looking after us and enhancing our visit.
Superlative
Clayton hotel Galway.
This review is well overdue. Have stayed in the Clayton on numerous occasions, simply because it is the best hotel in Galway. From the moment upon arrival the staff are amongst the most friendly and helpful that I have experienced . I want to pay special compliments to Brian in reservations, Maila and Fiona in reception and Lorraine and joe in the breakfast room.
The customer service was above standard and any time if assistance was required even late at night, a member of staff was always willing to help.Rooms were extremely comfortable and spotless with great views. Food was top notch.
Would have no hesitation in recommending the Clayton in Galway.

We arrived 29/07/23 for 2 nights
We arrived 29/07/23 for 2 nights, parking was accessible especially for a city hotel, then we booked in n our room was ready it was fabulous and spotless with a beautiful view of the river Shannon.
Breakfast and dinners were excellent I want to say a special mention to Kyle in the bar such a gentleman and excellent in his role, and to Declan at reception you are a joy to be greeted by you on arrival, overall we ll be back again thank you all for everything 😊 Doreen
Very disappointed
Very disappointed. Over all unclean Clayton Belfast. Bathroom had mold around bath and shower curtain had brown stains. One of the towels had old blood stain Pool was freezing and was not told till last day thermostat was broken Breakfast definitely not worth 20 pounds per guest
Review on Food and Room - Clayton Hotel
ROOM: I got the Room I requested - very quiet.
No Fridge in Room - very disappointed.
TV: poor signals.
Room unclean - Marks on carpets and walls (even though, a new Hotel).
FOOD:
One word - APPALLING!
Ordered Fish and Chip, mushy peas - £19 (approx).
Fish was uncooked, white, watery and cold. Chips were burnt and tasted like they had been reheated in a Microwave. Mushy peas, watery and tasteless.
I could not eat this meal - it was disgusting! Unfortunately, I had already paid for this meal. I should have asked for a refund, but didn't.
Very poor Service from Wating Staff - not interested no communication and very un-professional.
On check-out, I informed the Receptionist, she said she was going to pass on these comments to the Kitchen staff / Chef??
This is an accurate and truthful account of my experience at this Hotel.
I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
Overall Very Good
I decided to stay here while out with friends in Leeds as a cheaper alternative to other hotels when out with the wife. Overall, I can say I have not had a bad experience, and I have been visiting this hotel in Leeds for over 6 years on and off. Car parks can be a bit hit-and-miss, but that's just down to people's ways of parking.
Jokers
Nice meal , garbage service, packed tooth paste in check baggage, went to reception and asked for toothpaste and was told to use the paid for dispenser. Joke
Next time I’ll book I’m a proper hotel

RIP OFF ACROSS THE BOARD
Stayed Easter Sunday as a treat 😫
Clayton leopardstown
Stayed Easter Sunday as a treat 😫
Bar food and service disgraceful, when food arrived I had to go to the bar to ask for serviettes and cutlery after sitting waiting while food was going cold.
Dirty dishes and glass sat on table for over an hour despite staff walking by empty handed numerous times.
Breakfast had grown men sitting in Pyjamas!!
Unhygienic and unacceptable in a 4 star ⭐️ hotel
Over cooked eggs , dried up pudding, salty soda bread and had to ask numerous times for cups
Still angry about this one
Stayed at Clayton Hotel by Facebook Office in Dublin. No water bottles provided. Had to use vending machine that was a NIGHTMARE to use. You can't use american credit cards and I did not have many Euro coins. Next issue, had left toothbrush behind. I was told no toothbrushes or water since covid
"b/c of the environment". Ended up going out to buy brush at around midnight and it cost about a Euro for 2 at the Spar. 5 /10 minute walk, cold, raining, groups of lads hanging around, strong smell of weed. Don't know the area, but did not appreciate a night walk in a strange (to me) city centre and felt unsafe. IHG, Radisson and Hilton put bottles in the room. Also they give you a brush comp. if you leave yours behind. Its easy to put tap water in a reusable glass bottle and brushes can be biodegradable. Or you can sell them at front desk.
Zero stars if was an option
Zero stars if was an option. Had a voucher which was still redeemable and if the hotel reservations manager in Belfast took the booking the value of the voucher would have been honoured by Pigsback but due to a 12 hr period the lady refused to accept the voucher which would work and they would have received the payment. No consideration for publics money value. Very poor customer service. The lady said that’s no problem to me with regards not honouring the voucher. Other hotels honour their vouchers and offers. The Clayton hotel told me they would until I got to a lady in reservations who decided she would not process the booking.
Lovely rooms shame about the food
The rooms in the Clayton Hotel are spot on
BUT the bar food is well all i can say is a bit to be desired I had chicken supreme it was truly awful 23 euro!!! It needs sorting out ASAP
Really unhelpful staff
My stay at the Clayton Manchester City Centre was fine… until I was stupid enough to leave my iPad behind.
I was told initially that they had my iPad and that all I had to do was arrange delivery. After lots of mixed messages and being told they now had to check that they still had my iPad, I have been told to cancel the arranged pick-up (which I paid nearly £50 for to insure any damage/theft) as “that’s not how it’s done”. The reception staff have been so unhelpful in this stressful situation by rarely answering the phones, and I have not had any clear answers from anybody.

I enjoyed my stay a lot mostly because of the great customer service! Moni the breakfast supervisor was really nice and helpful during my stay there!
Absolutely Brilliant
Absolutely Brilliant!
We couldn't have been happier with our stay at the Clayton Hotel at London. Can't fault it at all. Comfy beds, tasty breakfast with a big selection and the staff were amazing ,especially Moni the breakfast supervisor... Exactly what we needed after a long day travelling. Rooms are soundproofed so it's a peaceful night too.
