this program saved my life! i had really important files in a sd card that i mistake deleted and the program recovered everything!

the software was easy to install and easy to navigate. and its free! it restored all my photos.

I was able to repair corrupt videos It worked well.

I had a camera card that had a very memorable recording on it of my child that I needed to recover somehow. Disk Drill was able to recover the damaged video file for me and keep it's original 4K quality. I was amazed and very appreciative. Thanks!

I had copied a lot of personal files from an old iMac that was dying to a MacPro that still worked well. Then I stupidly deleted them all from the iMac and emptied the trash to give to me daughter. When I then replaced it with the Mac Pro on my desk, the MacPro wouldn't start up. I had Garageband recording and files, tutorials that used a Flash interface from TrueFire's guitar site, videos, etc. The initial disk drive scan said the drive was dead. I did a deep scan, and all of my files showed up. I bought the premium license and hoped for the best when I hit "recover". When it was done, the files on my USB for recovery were "exactly" as I had copied them, meaning the folders looked identical and everything worked as though nothing had happened. I had run a different data recovery prior to this one, and the scan showed it found files, but they were all rearranged so the jpegs were all in one folder, flash .swf files in a folder, garageband mp3's in a folder, but nothing even close to resembling what the folders originally looked like. The files were practically useless because everything had been deconstructed. Like having your engine returned to you in a giant box with all of the pieces. Disk Dive was a life saver!

I used their video repair service and encounter some problems. In less than a 24hrs they reached out to me and helped solve all the issues. Great staff and great product!

My dad came up to me and showed me that his external HDD was no longer recognized by Mac OS (of course he had no backup...).
Trial and Error with Disk Utility but no success. The data was still on the drive but it would not mount.

Saw a recommendation of Disk Drill in a forum and tried it out. It took a long time (19hrs for scanning the drive, 10hrs copying the files) but everything was intuitive and worked out really well. Now all of my dads data is accessible again (with backups).

Thanks to Disk Drill for providing such awesome software and keeping it up to date!

Diskdrill allowed me to recover the data.
It works!
I had a 2 TB internal drive full of data to recover from a broken LG-NAS drive that was password locked. Windows wouldn't open it.
Diskdrill free showed me the files are there, so I bought the licence.
Diskdrill allowed me to recover the data with file names intact. It took a couple of days, but it worked well. Great support by David of Cleverfiles.com.
I am now recovering files from a Mac external drive to recover to my Windows PC.
Diskdrill IS working on this now, whereas Windows doesnt even see the drive.
Impressed and glad I bought Diskdrill.

I just got back some files that I deleted by accident on my SD card. and the providing Online costumer service is so effective and fast. long story shot I had lost my activation code from my last year purchased and they were about to find it in less that a minute. I usually don't review apps but this one deserve your trust and it is definitely a must have to any one who need to recover data that as been accidentally wipe out

Found the Desk Drill on YouTube. What they fail to tell you is that you can only get your files back if you pay for the premium service. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Not because they charge (its a business at the end of the day), simply because they're not honest. They think the best way to make a profit is to mislead customers. TERRIBLE!

This is a truly fantastic product and dug me out of a hole I thought I would never get out of . If you have files to recover from a crashed disk or storage device you would find it difficult to find a better product

It was able to "recover" the files from a disk, but none of the mp4 files were able to be played.

Like magic! The reality is that Disk Drill is real, brilliant and well-thought-out software. I love that CleverFiles gives the opportunity to try it out before purchasing. The online reviews and comparisons put Disk Drill at the top of the list, and I'm so glad I chose this product. It literally pushed two months of frustration and anxiety out the window.

2021 iMac with M1 silicon chip, Sequoia 15.1.1, Disk Drill version 5.6.

Like so many others, the upgrade from Sonoma to Sequoia came with a few issues, now resolved in updates. But in the meantime, all but one of my external hard drives became inaccessible and I could see them in Disk Utility but they wouldn't mount.

On my Mac, the drive was full. Everything that could be transferred out, was, to 3 new external drives. One was especially important because prior to the Sequoia upgrade (end of September 2024) I transferred 1/2 TB of vital video files that were critical to my work. My plan was to make a backup copy to another external drive. However, before I did that the Sequoia upgrade came out, and I installed it. It had a few problems (now remedied). One of those was that it had difficulty with external drives, in some cases not seeing them at all. In the 2 months I waited for the fix, I tried everything, including downgrading back to Sonoma in the hope that my external drives would still be recognized. Even Mac's Disk Utilities' First Aid didn't work on that critical drive, telling me that everything on the disk should be backed up because the disk was corrupted. Well, how could I do that if the drive wouldn't mount? After 2 Sequoia updates my other ext. drives mounted - except for that one important one. I even went back to the place where I had purchased it and they told me that sure, they could recover my files but it would cost me $500. After quite a bit of online research, I decided to try Disk Drill. The cost of the Pro version is 1/5 of what the store wanted. It worked brilliantly, and was so easy to use! When the process finished, I had all of those precious files back, copied onto another ext drive and I have since made a duplicate. I then reformatted the corrupted disk, and it is fine now. What a relief! Thank you so much for this amazing software!
