I bought fish from Clipsey lane Haydock a few years ago and they were full of white spot and eventually killed all my fish. Although I pointed out the health of the fish at the time they were not concerned. I would advise people to stay clear

Placed a considerable order online and awaited delivery. After 6 days received a message that part of may order was out of stock and what did I wish to do. Called the advertised shop number as could not get through on (0845) number and chose internet orders on the automatic answering service. Did this twice and on both occasions waited over 30 minutes but received no response. Then tried again and used the second option to go through to the shop. Fortunately this was answered fairly swiftly and advised tham that I wished to continue with the order without the other items. This was despatched and delivered successfully within 4 days but the refund to my bank account still remained uinpaid. I called again and was adivised that this would be done that day but have had to wait another 4 days for it to finally appear in my account. In the meantime I recived another text message and email telling me that my delivery was due in the next 48 hours. This turned out to be someone else's order which had been placed against my neame but fotrunatley with the correct address of the other customer. I called them again to point out this error. On the plus side, I did receive a token bonus item in my delivery for all the hassle but this, in no way, compensated for the inept service and telephone call costs I had made.

Having ordered a discontinued item the staff at Clipsley Pet Shop took trouble to contact me and offer a suitable alternative. I was very pleased with the service and would not hesitate to use them again. By the way my budgies were very pleased with the service too and have taken with gusto to their new toys. Mary thanks

Since finding Clipsey it is now the only place I buy the dogs food from. She loves it, it arrives on time, my bank loves it (due to the reasonable prices) & everyone is a winner.
Won't stop any time soon from shopping there.
Only bummer is every time I order the food has gone up by a couple of pounds - hope it doesn't do this much more.

Seems a nice shop to purchase from online. On placing a bulk order for goldfish food, they were kind enough to call and explain what was currently available, and speed up delivery rather than leave me waiting in the dark. A personal touch which was much appreciated as in a sense the food was needed urgently.
